Pets live in vile conditions, horrible service, was denied takin photos and videos. Little river aviary is an amazing breeder for birds if you’re looking for one better prices than this disgusting pet store too. If you expect a good review I’d expect you to have the decency of taking care of your petsRabbits stacked in cagesGeckos and reptiles look malnourishedDon’t shop here

really disappointed in my experience as i’ve been wanting to visit for a very long time now. i live far away but was in the area so we were able to stop in finally. the lady was very rude and we were immediately stopped at the door and told we could not look around cause “none of the animals had been fed yet “. they had already been open an hour so not sure why they hadn’t been. i own hamsters and saw some stuff in there that i was gonna buy but she basically wouldn’t let us.

We have bought pets from Mary for several years my daughter asks to stop every time we go by. We have never had any problems with any pet we have purchased. Mary is very nice and always helpful. We have always found the business clean and well stocked. We will continue to shop here in the future.This is our rabbit Hop-Hop that we got 7-8 years ago.

Animals are starved and housed in cluster phobic cages with each other. The staff treat the animals inhumanly and clearly don’t care about animal welfare. This place is a disgrace and all animal lovers should not support such a business unless there’s a change in animal treatment

We go here once a week usually for our bearded dragon superworms and other necessities. If she doesn't have what you need, she can usually order it and have it within a few days.

Mary was very helpful and nice. She had what I went in for (lovebird food and millet). Prices are reasonable. She has a variety of animals, I'm sure it's alot of work for 1 person to clean and take care of them all..And with that many different pets in 1room it's gonna smell...She was cleaning cages when I got there and explained she cleans twice a week. It's good to know I can just go 10 miles to get food and treats for my birds instead of 40 or more miles. Glad she's there.

WORST customer service I have ever encountered! Her store smelled like death. What a mean lady. She shook her finger at me for taking a picture of one her little stinky snake aquariums. I was just about to buy a couple pets for my children. They probably would have died right away. Glad I left quickly after seeing owners attitude. Nasty place.

Best place on earth to get pet supplies. If she doesn't have what you need, She can get it! I go there often to get food and terrarium parts for my lizards as needed. The owner is very kind. Tho the place does look like a mess at times. You can always count on your pet needs being met with 100% satisfactory. This is a small business that gets it right every time. What more can you ask?

The geckos were in horrible condition and the rodents and birds were too , there’s trash everywhere and the lizards were like skeletons and nothing else please do something about this it’s really sad

What can I say... the place is awesome, clean, well cared for animals and reptiles, birds etc. We're really lucky to have this place in such a small town. The owner works hard, we always see her cleaning n changing things... the place is always growing... like I said, we're lucky to have it here!

great store:D i really like the lady who runs it shes as friendly as can be and sure it smells but what do you suspect shes the only one who runs it and cleaning, feeding, watering, etc. can be a handful shes got all animals including reptiles and reptiles i know are a handful just themselves. i personally have bunnies, horses, dogs, cats, chameleons, turtles, fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, etc. later on but anyways these are a lot of animals now if i added on birds hamsters rats snakes etc and the amount of each kind she had i would totally loose my mind i know its not pet smart or petco but for a small town shop is wonderfully kept animals are healthy and its in a great location and its fairly cheap even provides crickets for feeding reptiles or fishing ;) i know that is where i am gonna purchase most of my animals/stuff from thanks for everything and keep up the good work :D

Ignore the neigh sayers, my family and I have known Mary Doyle for a very long, long time even before I was born, and we know that she's the most wonderful woman ever that loves animals and does the best job of taking care of each and every single animal in her care. And she always helps every pet owner with anything they need help with their pets. So I say NEVER shut down her shop, instead we should help and support her and her shop like a a real community as much as possible anyway we can!

Mrs Doyle is always very friendly and nice. I stop there often for crickets and minnows. I've never seen any of the conditions a couple of reviews claim. From the over whelming good reviews I believe everyone can tell which are factual and which are fabricated. I suspect those wanted something for free or at a great discount and when they didn't get it believed a fabricated bad review would cause her business harm.

Rude Old Lady! Never open during posted store hours. Store is filthy! Don't plan to go in just to look around, she doesn't like that. Worse retail experience in my life! I have been in there dozens of times and it's always the same. No stars if that was an option. Never go here!

Please someone get these animals the help they need. I'm not trying to be mean. The lady was super nice but I don't think she knows what she doing. Most the animals cages ( especially the reptiles) has not been clean in months. Dead crickets and no uva or uvb lights on most of them. Different species of animals in one cages with clear signs of fighting and stress on them poor creatures. Dead beardie dragon (that have been dead for a long while) in the same cage as the live one. Feeder rat cages packed full of rats. Many dead. I know their feeders but would you want to feed you snake or whatever healthy food. Most water bowls was empty or packs with weeks of substrate. Cages was way to small for all the mammals and muost reptiles. Wasn't able to stomach the condition the poor babies was in and had to leave immediately.

Needs to be shut down!!!! The animals are in a filthy environment and over crowded cages. She's very rude aswell! I wouldn't recommend getting a pet rock here! Sick dying animals is all that is there. She doesnt care about those animals all she sees is $$$$

This place is a torture chamber for animals. The stench as soon as you walk in will knock you off your feet. There are dying bettas in filthy water on the counter. The animals are in overcrowded, filthy cages. This place needs to get shut down immediately.

I like it there she is really nice and when our guinie pigs started dying off. We told her what we have been doing and she told us the things we need to do. Now our guinie pig has been a live for over a year

Small town pet shop, they've got the supplies you need, a large collection of animals and fish, really everything you could ask for from a pet store.Sure, it smells like animals, and the birds chirping is a little noisy, but what did you expect, anyway?You didn't go there to eat, unless you like eating hamsters.
