Wow! The staff are Awesome! We have stayed at several KOAs & Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West has the best bathrooms and showers ever! We were only passing through for one night. However, we are definitely going back to stay longer to enjoy their bathrooms & shower facilities! If you have not been to Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West KOA, it is well worth your visit.Noteworthy details: The bathrooms and showers are luxurious and high end quality craftsmanship!

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. Off the highway and no traffic noise. Amenities are fantastic. Very clean and spacious bathroom/shower house! There is a GREAT hiking path through the surrounding woods. Hands down the BEST dog park I've seen. Very family friendly. Large playground with a bounce pad and spider/net climb! Friendly workers running this KOA. Highly recommend staying here if you are close!

The bathroom was spot less, and the whole campgrounds were well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were there during very bad weather. Staff sent text updates .Nearby activities: Very close to Lookout Mountain , Chickamauga, and Chattanooga. There is a lot of civil war history here. Also, other attractions.

I camped here solo in a tent for several days and had an excellent experience. The showers and restrooms were really nice and modern, and always kept clean. I especially liked the laundry facilities, too. The wi-fi was spotty in certain places but it didn't bother me because I'm not going camping to spend time online. I arrived after dark on my first night and it wasn't difficult to find my way and get set up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful, and the entire campground felt like a safe, wholesome environment. As a solo female traveller, I really valued the feeling of safety and security here. The location is great, too. I came to see The Lost Sea Adventure and Lookout Mountain, and these are each a reasonable driving distance for a daytime excursion. Highly recommend! Would stay again!Nearby activities: Lost Sea Adventure, Lookout Mountain, Rock City GardensSafety: Felt like a safe enviornment. A lot of families. I was a female Canadian tourist travelling alone very far from home, and sleeping in a tent, and I felt perfectly safe here at all times.

Quiet campground tucked away on Lookout Mountain, with super friendly and helpful staff. The campground is very well maintained, has a large pool, playground and giant in-ground bounce ballon for the kids, and a fenced in dog park complete with slides and playground equipment for dogs! There is a walking trails around the campground. The bathroom\shower house was impressive to say the least, very clean and renovated.

👍 Nice KOA, big pool, neat walking trail on site too. There's a neat cabin on the east side overlooking a nice mountainish view/field I may try to rent one day. My daughter loved the bounce pad as well. Nice and close to lookout mountain, rock city, and what not.

Stayed here just one night, it was ok for an overnight but wouldn't stay here longer. The bathhouse was really nice, the rest... not so much. My pull through site was not very level, I tried to find a semi level spot since I wasn't disconnecting from the truck and the closest I could get was 5" front to back.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this campground. One of us had stayed her before we great luck, until today. A certain staff member was VERY rude to us the multiple times today….. and having to pay $8 to have a visitor to drop by to say hi for 30 minute is a bit much!! The very rude comments from this staff member were 100% unacceptable… the gray hair lady in the office with a ton of attitude made sure we second guess staying here in the future!!Edited to add: while our run in with that staff member was unpleasant, the bath/shower rooms here are the best you will find!! Clean, roomy, private and the best shower you will ever take!! The staff in bathroom is the friendliest and nicest you will find! They do an amazing job and deserve a lot of recognization!! Great job!!

We camped here in a 5th wheel and had a pull through site. For November, it was absolutely perfect for us. They had open sites and spaced everyone out nicely so you didn't feel crowded. While some of the amenities (pool, bounce pillow) were closed due to the season, the office and laundry were spotless and the staff were very kind. The camp was peaceful and quiet at night.

We enjoyed our stay here, we camped in our camper. I would book a different site next time, we stayed in site 0 and there was a walnut and acorn tree overhead that pounded our camper and made a mess, we had to clean the top of the camper off before leaving in order to be able to close our slide outs. The noise the walnuts made falling was very loud, so definitely wouldn't stay in site 0 again, but plenty of other spots available. They have cute cabin rentals also. Sites have a picnic table and fire pit. There is a clean shower house available as well as a small store. It is a short drive into town where there is plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We stayed close to Halloween, so they had a decorating contest, costume contest, egg toss and trick or treating for all the kiddos, it was a fun trip.

We stood at this location from the 20th to the 29th of October, 2023.We stood in a cabin with a queen and bunks. It was beautiful. The location wasn't originally planned, but turned out better than planned. It was so close to TN and AL that it didn't bother our plans to travel to either state. The staff Alice, Bryan, Susan and Frank are just a few that we had a great time getting to know when we were there. The bathrooms were always clean, and the laundry room was a wonderful amenity for me as a mom of 3.We probably stood there a bit too long, because my husband was called by name by Ms. Susan when he was jumping on the air pillow. (giggle) I can't wait to visit again.

First time here. We came to visit friends who were camping for the Halloween events. Everything was fun except for the lady in the golf cart. When we walked onto the site, she told us we had to go register in the office to visit someone onsite. We told her our friends had already registered us, her response, "I'll go see about that" she then drove away. I've never been a fan of being called a liar. After she went inside, our friends came by, bringing us the car hang tag.Except for those 30 seconds, the owners have put together a wonderful camp site here, and we had a great time visiting our far away friends when they came to town. They have a fun way of celebrating Halloween!

Bathrooms were the cleanest ever. Had a great playground for kids and Halloween activities for kids. Great little dog park. Internet did not work despite the hype. Nice clean site, great weather. We will come back. Thank you KOA. Had a great time.Nearby activities: Apple festival in Chattanooga, lookout mountain. Beautiful fall season.

I have camped here many times and I can say this is the nicest and most well run KOA I have ever stayed at. That is saying quite a bit when speaking about KOA, who is known for being a nice place to camp.Nearby activities: Lookout Mountain, Rock City, Incline Railroad, and Ruby Falls are all close by and worth seeing and experiencing.

Nice campground. Shower/bathrooms were clean. Nice scenic drive on the way. Service was friendly. A word of caution for tent campers; camp spots are all basically on a hillside, and I could see potential for runoff issues during heavy rains. I'd also use caution in low clearance vehicles, as the tent area is a bit steep, and bumpy. Overall a nice stay.

We had an amazing time. Took our middle child and went on a very hot day but they had plenty of drink machines and the people were super nice and the walking path was really easy to go up and down the walking bridge was even pretty cool. They will take your pictures at the beginning if you want to buy them at the end and there's a killer restaurant when you get finished. They have plaques everywhere describing the location history. Pets are welcome as well. I highly recommend this place. We drove 5 hours round-trip and it was totally worth it.

My daughter and I frequently go to concerts away from home, and when we do, we stay at a KOA in the city of the venue. We generally get the camping cabin with no bathroom, as it is just us, and we don’t mind using the bath house. We generally get there after hours, and don’t generally use a lot of the amenities at the campground, but like to stay with KOA, because it means clean and safe facilities with friendly employees. We have gone to the Cherokee KOA in North Carolina several times, and the Nashville resort Koa several times as well, and will continue to frequent those. We recently went to the KOA in Chattanooga, We got there in time to check in with an older lady with gray hair, who was just unfriendly. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day unpacked our stuff, we went to the concert, and got back to the cabin at 2 am. We checked out at 12:15, because we spent 15 minutes inside the onsite store shopping. We then went out to the pool, sat down and put our feet in the water. There were 2 kids in the pool with their parents at poolside. In no way was the pool or facilities over crowded. The same older lady with gray hair and yellow shirt came out, and told us to leave. “Check out is at noon, you need to vacate the property!” I guess as long as we were actively spending money it wasn’t a problem, but otherwise we are were not welcome. This has never been a problem at our other stays, in fact we have been told we were welcome to use the facilities as long as we had our stuff out of the cabins. We are 2 adults who do not party, are not loud, try to always leave things better than we found it. We will never go to this KOA again, and will tell others to avoid it as well.

Campground: Lookout Mountain / Chattanooga West KOA HolidayCity, State: Trenton, GACheck-in: June 16, 2023Check-out: June 17, 2023Site Number: 51Our Set Up: Class C Motorhome (32 feet) plus TOADWe Liked: Beautiful campground. Lots of tree cover. Sites arraigned for maximum space. Hiking trails. Frisbee golf set-up. Large pool & pool deck. Full hookups. Pull-in spot was plenty big so that TOAD did not have to be unhooked. 8-10 single stall bathrooms at the camp office (shower, toilet, sink) - updated and clean bath AM and PM. We didn't bring the dog on this trip but the dog park was amazing. Not only was it a good size, but it was full of obstacles (tunnels, jumps, platforms). We Didn't Care For: There was nothing observed.Overall Assessment: This campground is quite amazing. It is too bad that we were passing through, otherwise it would have made a great long weekend stay. It was right off I-59, on the way to (or from) Birmingham, AL and actually at the top of a little mountain. It was a calm and peaceful campground. I do not believe the pictures the campground had posted online did it justice. I would highly recommend this campground.
