I stayed here for a few weeks bc I worked at the grocery store and needed a place and Eddie in the office was very nice and the other front desk associates were consistent with everything that I needed. The room i was in was spacey and clean, the beds were comfortable and relaxing. The luxurious part about this hotel that it has a huddle house and a gas station family owned and respectful about their guests. I would have stayed here longer if I could and I would recommend this hotel to all tourists visiting South Georgia!

I will be as objective as possible with this review. The staff person at the front desk was pleasant and attentive. It was pet friendly and there was no additional charge for pets. The room had a musty, wet odor. The bathroom around the toilet was dirty. The towels were old and thin and smelled like the room. The sheets appeared clean but stained. The bedspreads were stained. The ceiling and wall near the sink area, which was outside of the tub and toilet area, had black mold. The fake wood floor in the same area was squishy as if there was or had been water under it.I would not stay here again and think it is unhealthy to do so. If it hadn't been so late, would not have stayed after seeing all of this. Did not sleep well knowing the condition of the room and left early.

The room was very dirty.Stain in every sheet of urine and blood .People screaming at 3 AM outside the room.Door of the room didnt close perfectly.We will never stay again in this place even if is cheaper, good position and no dog fee.IS NOT WORTH IT

Just what I wanted...clean safe comfortable and at a great budget price. 24 hr gas and Snappy Market open 24 hrs for snacks, drinks and a variety of what nots. Huddle house restaurant on premises. Amazingly attentive, kind, courteous staff providing me with a warm welcome . Pet friendly and very near I 95. I wasn’t looking for luxury. I was happily surprised to find such a clean comfortable safe and friendly place to rest after long journey. I’ll return again .Safety: I felt very safe and secure parking and walking in the very well lit premises late at night.Walkability: I enjoy late night walk around the premises. I felt very safe and secureFood & drinks: 24 hr market was amazing and plenty of variety for my snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etcNoteworthy details: Absolutely the Most kind, courteous, attentive and welcoming staff

I'm not sure why people are giving this hotel a Bad report. It's not a grand hotel but it is adequate for your needs. My room had a refrigerator and microwave both worked the beds were very comfortable the pillows were very comfortable. And the air conditioner was amazing. Yes there's a little bit To work on with cosmetics and the pool wasn't open, but it was everything that we needed for a night. And the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Noone was just hanging around like i saw in someones report. Hot Showers and the water pressure was amazing. This hotel is right off the I95 which made it very convenient for us to pull our 38 foot RV and truck in there and they even had a spot for us in the Front of the hotel. The people that own the hotel also own the gas station and the huddle house. Very great experience with everything. We booked 2 rooms and the lady made sure that they were right beside each other. We had no problems with either room. And did I mention that they're dog friendly, not every hotel is and we had two dogs one in each room. Thank you MOTEL 6 IN TOWNSEND GEORGIA!!!!

I really had a great experience staying here, the rooms are good and price-worthy, and the staff is humble and friendly, for the food we have a Huddle House so again that helped me to enjoy my stay.I would absolutely recommend this place for a calm and peaceful stay.

Definitely a 1-star, cheap hotel with decor firmly stuck in the 1970s. Walls were not clean, floors were warped/damaged, and lots of wear/tear on all furniture, bathroom fixtures, mirrors, etc. Price was ok and the staff was great. We didn't have any bug issues reported in other posts. Hotel location was convenient to restaurant and gas station, but otherwise not much there. Mainly chosen because it was closest to a family member, but if you can afford better I would recommend staying in Darien or Brunswick when travelling this portion of I95.

Very Clean room Extremely nice customer service ! Very kind . I travel a lot from Tennessee To Ga for work 10/10 recommend this Motel 6.Room was very nice , I got a smoking room, which normally aren’t as nice but this one is just as kept up and clean as a regular room. Will be staying here on my travel trips from now on!

Place is a dump laminate floor is buckled and planks separated "tripping hazard" it's so bad. bathroom disgusting and a rock is softer then the beds.this place is ran down the outside looks better then the inside my truck would of been better to sleep in.Rooms: Nasty mold in shower area stains on blankets and towels no shampoo

We are traveling from NC to FL and stayed at this hotel 6 because I was so tired. No remote control for tv, a dead roach in bathroom, no coffee, lots of people drinking etc on a positive note the concierge was very nice and beds do have bed bug protectors and it was reasonably clean

There were holes in the walls, cockroaches, and a terrible smell. I went and bought antibacterial wipes after I saw how gross it was. I swiped the bottom of the tub and the wipe was completely black. I showered with my shoes on. The walls and bathroom door were splattered with something. I slept with the lights and TV on just to maybe keep the roaches at bay. I didn't expect perfect but at $85 a night I expected a little cleaner.

Truckers, they have parking for us and a huddle house. My room was nice and clean, but the floor was coming up and the ceiling needs repair. Much needed relax, but at 9 pm a giy with a gas blower is blowing the walkway in fromt of my door. Then at 12 am o get a call from the hotel asking me if my truck was running. Its a reefer unit trailer of course its running. Really disappointing for 80 bucks. Pet friendly....not at the store or huddle house. So i could have and would have spent at least 50 bucks there, but nah. If my service animal isnt allowed nor am i. Wont be back here.

Paid $130 at the desk. After checking in I looked online and could've gotten the room for $60. Floor was dirty, walls were thin, deadbolt didn't work. The lobby door was locked at 8am the next morning so I left my keycard on top of a trash can (as others had done). I wouldn't complain if I had gotten the online rate but they ripped me off at the desk.

Motel 6 in Townsend staff is polite, accommodating, and friendly. The young man on evening shift stands out, and Lena, on morning shift, was very helpful. The rate is among the cheapest in the area and it feels safe at this motel. The amenities are okay. Cheap gas is right there; take-out food is nearby and the interstate is a minute away. I would like to give then a higher rating but they need to clean better.In sum this is a typical dirty cheap motel with roaches but the staff stands out for being helpful and accommodating. The location is very good.
