They are always so nice here. My Lola was a bit nervous. But they do their best to keep her calm. I appreciate them so much! Lola had a great physical and shots without a whimper. I love these people, they are the best to me and mine!!

They were very caring and thorough. My poor baby was not well and they were very helpful and informative. After treatment she has responded great and is back to being her normal goofy. They were also very helpful and patient and explained everything to us before anything was done so there were no surprises.

Let me tell you DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! My 17 yr old has a little puppy and that she took her puppy here because the puppy got into the trash and ate a chicken bone and the puppy was in pain. So she took her to the local vet . Lyla at Currahee veterinary was so mean and rude to her that my daughter had to take her puppy that was in pain all the way to commerce. I’ve never heard of such Unprofessionalism to have to talk to a child like that , to the point to were she’s crying ! She’s lucky I wasn’t there ! Like I said DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE, there is no reason why this woman had to speak to a child that was just concerned about her puppy the way she did!

Routine vaccination turned awful after I asked them to check her ears as she occasionally paws at them. A flush procedure was performed during which I could hear her yelping. I was given ear drops "in case" there were ear mites and told that she would have to be sedated for further examination if that didn't work. No appointments so you have to walk your best friend through grass saturated with urine and feces from other dogs with who knows what.My puppy is traumatized and so sore she whimpers when picked up. The breeder says it's just hair in the ears common to the breed. Definitely our last visit.

I absolutely love them. The vet and staff are all truly amazing patient and kind. They are very compassionate to listen to your needs and your fur babies. They don't rush you and do everything they can to help your animals. I drive a distance just to use this vet ... God bless 🙏❣️

First things first, Adel is awesome with cats. She treats them like they are her own. I've been bringing my cats here for years. At my last visit I had to say goodbye to a cat that I had from 4 weeks to 12 years old. It was a difficult time for me, but I was treated well by everyone there. When another cat finds me (people are already offering me kittens) I will be back.

Absolutely wonderful and compassionate people. They helped me through every step in the process of sending my old pup over the rainbow bridge. The employees showed nothing but kindness to her and to us as we grieved.

Closes at “5:30” per receptionist but apparently they stop taking patients at 3:30. What’s the point? Worst vet I’ve ever been to. Would not help me and my dying 16 year old cat at 4:05pm. Only service needed was a euthanasia that takes less than 10 minutes. Now I have to take my cat home and he will suffer over the weekend until Monday. The front desk old lady with glasses and grey hair is also very snooty and rude.

My dog was dying due to severe dehydration due to an intestinal infection. They kept him over night and the next day he came home. After 3 days he was back to his old self. These ladies were very friendly and took good care of my Baby, Buddy.

Great Dr and staff! I loved how everyone is professional and accessible at the same time. They take wonderful care of my beloved dogs and that means the world to me. Dr Windus is obviously very smart and knowledgeable concerning her practice. She took time to explain what she was doing and why, while still listening to what I thought. In other words she never made me feel like I wasn't as smart as she is. 😊

Use to be great caring place to bring your pets. Lately, been very rude to people, mishandling animals. Might want to pay closer attention to your trainees and how they treat peoples pets.

I had a disappointing experience at Currahee Veterinary Clinic. They initially quoted $350 for my dog's spaying but added an extra $230 for being "hormonal and obese" without transparent communication during admission Despite making three phone inquiries during my dog's stay, I was never informed about these extra fees. They then added $40 in “billing fees” along with $160 in court fees. By the end of it, we went to court over the extra fees, and court ordered us to split the remaining balance even after hearing both sides. Overall, the staff wasn’t friendly, the doctor herself is rude, and they need to learn to communicate better. Would not recommend this place.

This was a great experience for me. My kitty got a scary injury, while out about the neighborhood, and he quickly showed signs of infection, despite our efforts to clean the area. I took him to Currahee vet clinic, and they talked with me within minutes. I was given a clear walkthrough of what he needed and got to pick him up promptly the next morning. He has healed up well, and my bank account has not suffered either. I was worried it would be 500 or more, but it was nothing like that. Even as a college student I was able to pay.

If you go here, you will wait and wait and wait some more. Receptionist very unprofessional and rude. I took my dog in for treatment, he had to be kept overnight because the severity his condition. I was told I would get a phone call before doing anything but to my surprise they did what they wanted to and gave me a bill for $500 and never even came out to talk to me about him his treatment or anything. Just pick up your animal and be on your way. Had to go back in after getting my dog in the car to ASK if he had any meds to take and again I had to wait to talk to anyone. He only had 5 different meds that they were just going to let me leave without. If you disagree with something they suggest (ie: light treatment) you are then given the brush off and treated like you are the worst dog mom in the world for not jumping right on board. After paying over $1100 for his treatment, I believe he would have been better off with home care.

Initially my review was only bad because of the reception office. (Fast forward 2 years)Now after going here a few times, I can say,with absolute certainty, this is not a place I can trust.Most of all, I expect compassion.What to look for in a great Veterinarian is love and compassion for your pet. Also financially ethical testing and treatment options.You expect staff to call you right away if your dog dies during the night. No that was not our experience.We called, and while on speakerphone, asked how our baby was doing?She plainly says she passed away (Swear to God) simultaneously the entire room laughed very loudly. This was an unfortunate way to hear the news. A compassionate person would have addressed the poorly timed laughter.

Well, I learned my lesson. After going there several time, I am done. After waiting 30 minutes the tech came out with my file saying that the vet will have to examine my dog before giving her the allergy shot because it had been almost a year since the last one. By the way the vet was in surgery and would be out in a little while. I was not told that at sign in, I gave them the name and phone number of the last vet that had given her a shot. They confirmed my statemant. The time frame then moved to over 3 months. I asked how much that will cost it was $60. I lot my cool and informed them I was done with them because this was not the first time the fee jumped. I call the other vet, By the way is walhalla vet hospital GREAT PEOPLE, they got me in and I got the shot no problem.Here is the kicker today I received a letter from Currahee Vet Clinic stated because i refused a OFFICE VISIT ( by law) they can no longer prived me service and sent me my dogs records. I googled what LAW they were referring to I could not find one. So again nontruths. O BY THE WAY ALL THE TIMES I WAS IN THERE I NEVER GOT TO TALK TO THE VET.

Walk in clinic. They say that they serve based on the sign in sheet, but although I was the 1st person there, and the 2nd to sign in (yes some people are just rude like that), I was the last person. To be served over an hour later, at which time I was told that I would have to wait for the vet to actually be there (4 more hours) for my dog to get the test and vaccine I had listed on the sign in sheet.Positives are that the staff were very good with my dog and we were able to get some done. Their prices are slightly lower than other appointment based offices, but if you can't spend half of your day, you might want to pay the higher prices.

I had been taking my dog to commerce vet and they had seen him for two months and they just kept giving meds that would make my dog lethargic he wouldn't eat or drink. I took him to this vet and they changed his meds and by a few hours of doing the regiment of meds she had put him on my dog was showing a great improvement . And by the next morning he was jumping and running and acting like he had never been sick. I praise this vet. They really care and very knowledgeable. Me and my dog will always come to this vet for everything he needs.

We had to have our 10 year old boxer put down this morning. The faculty were all incredible and so kind. They saw us quickly even as a new patient, walk-in on a Saturday. It is clear these ladies care deeply about you and your pet. We will most definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

Took my in my German Shepherd, who I just rescued 2 days ago. He was highly anxious and vocal about it. It took me and the vet tech holding onto him to get him his shots. Everyone there was very understanding and sweet with him. And they where very helpful finding a medication regiment for him that fit my budget. Definitely going to continue using this clinic.

Waited for almost two hours outside because the office isnt big enough to accommodate the volume of patients she had. Was just trying to get my dog back on her regular medications she had been on before i moved to the area. Was told id be charged 300+ dollars for new medication and things that was not wanted. When i told the nice lady that talked to me because the vet never once spoke to me directly that i didnt want to pay for the other extra just the regualr meds and some antibiotics the vet told me she wouldnt treat my dog because i didnt wanna buy anything other than what i came there for. Even the lady that talked to me apologized cause she knew it wasnt right i gave them 140 dollars and my time for them to tell me they wouldnt do anything for me because i didnt wanna spend more money.

We have two cats, each having their own set of health problems. Dr. Windus and her team have always gotten them in, kept us up to date and care so much about the well being of our babies. Their staff has always been phenomenal as well. Logan has always been so patient and makes sure we have always been informed with what is going throughout their care. I am so grateful for everything they have done for both our babies!

I don't know what her name is but the older fat blonde woman at the front desk has to be the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with . I have NO problem with Dr Windus or her other staff . But I can NOT believe anyone would have someone like that at their front desk !!!! I or anyone that I know will ever shadow the door of that place again !!!!!
