2023 October update: we love this place, the wine and the staff are terrific. Love the brownies out friend made, so good with red wines.2022 October Visit every year, love the vineyard, owers are super, and Bill was outstanding too. Usually, we go on a Sat to see the staff we have known for years; wine is excellent, bought a case, it so good. The place offers a wonderful view of the orchards, can go through the vineyard, and bring your own cheese plate. 5 star winery! $$$

We visited Stonewall Creek Vineyards on a family trip to North Georgia late last year. Their grounds were gorgeous and they had such a diverse selection of wine. We played their 9 hole disc golf course and it was such a unique way to experience the grounds. My husband bought a disc from the store on our way out to commemorate the experience. We returned home and as it goes with disc golf, the discs are never safe even on a less windy day. When the day came where it was lost on a course, I reached out to the team at Stonewall Creek Vineyards to inquire about a surprise replacement for my husband. Sandi was a pleasure to work with and not only went through available discs with me by pictures (I’m not the disc expert) but shipped it to our home in Florida. It was a wonderful surprise and he was shocked that this was possible at all. I hope our travels bring us back to North Georgia for another wonderful experience and a chance to say thank you in person.

I'm from the East Coast, so I am familiar with what the East Coast has to offer in wines. To put it bluntly, they aren't the best. My expectations going into this winery were low. However, I was proven wrong. These are not going to be heavy bodied complex wines that you would find in California, but these are definitely what I would consider quality wines. My husband and I did two flights. One red and one white dry wines. Not everything was to our specific liking, but everyone's palate is different. That being said, we could tell that these were quality wines, and we were so glad we stopped for a visit. Side note, if they have the wine brownie, go for it. It is absolutely amazing!

What a beautiful, rare find, hidden gem vineyards… Nice owner and staffs, great country live music, genuine wine flight. We traveled with our RV, stayed a wonderful harvest host night in this place. Highly recommended!

Awesome afternoon! My husband and I spent part of our Saturday afternoon here this past weekend. I tried a flight of 4 wines (only 3 made it into the photo) and he ordered by the glass. 2 of the wines I picked for my flight were the sangria (one red, one green apple) - they gave me different glasses for those with ice and fruit for each. We also got one of the delicious wine brownies (and a second one for the road). This was such a great location - views are lovely, staff are so friendly and helpful and good wines. At one point as the sun started to duck behind the clouds, one of the staff offered me a blanket - it felt like the perfect combination of all the comforts of being home (warm blanket, good food/drink) but in a wonderful setting. Very relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back!

A great way to end a day! Beautiful view and ambiance. Decent collection of wine. Cabernet Franc was my favorite. Very dog friendly. If you do miss the turn into the vineyards, then it's a winding loop like a Mario-kart-racetrack to get back again.

Excellent wines, best tasting selection from top to bottom of any of the Georgia wineries. Atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful with comfortable tables for wine tasting and enjoyment. My wife and I each had a flight of wines and it was hard to pick a favorite!

It was a very relaxing visit to the winery on this cloudy misting day. We shared a bottle of the merlot, It was light and fruity. The staff is amazing and helpful. We listened to some really nice music as we sat enjoying the views. I will definitely come back again. Enjoy🍷

Great time!! Everyone was super friendly, the owner Mark came down and said hi, then spent time with us. Eric, the assistant wine maker was passionate about his craft. The venue was picturesque and relaxing, with wonderful live music from Kody.The kids ran around. Dogs came and played too.

Very pleasant experience! Glad we took a different route home. Quaint, great welcome, and very pet friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating too. We enjoyed the sangria and mulled wine the most. We look forward to serving the mulled wine at Thanksgiving. Look forward to returning when we have more time.

Wow. We were driving back from Helen to Charlotte and chanced upon this place and it felt like a little glimpse into this cute Xmas movie. Gail and her granddaughter Kate greeted us at the door, and we were swept us away into this beautiful journey filled with little surprises like Gail’s wine infused brownie. We loved our experience here! They were so friendly and welcoming (even to our kids!). The seating areas are so charming and inviting, and the grounds/views are gorgeous! Definitely will be back!

Such a great stop on our road trip! They had a variety of wines to choose from and try. We did a flight of 4 wines for $21 and then enjoyed a mug of seasonal mulled wine on the patio. Gail and Sandy were great stewards throughout our tasting telling us tidbits about the history of each varietal and suggesting food pairings. I love that they have charcuterie available, even though we ended up not taking advantage of it this time. It was a great experience overall.

The staff was super friendly and the winery is just great. Nice views overlooking the vines and surrounding mountains. Our server wore a mask and that tells me that they care about the safety of their customers. It was very much appreciated.

A little peace of paradise! What an incredible vineyard with the greatest owners! I was up the in January and had the greatest time! The vineyard is beautiful, warm, and friendly. Even though it was very busy with guests, the owners made us feel like we were family and were incredibly hospitable! The wine is delicious-I was a HUGE fan of the Cab Franc. I loved this family and dog friendly environment and cannot wait to be back in Georgia to enjoy this place again! Anyway living in the area or passing through, I would 100% recommend this place!

We had an amazing time at Stonewall, and so did our pup! We tried all the wines and settled on a bottle of Whitetail to bring in the noon sun while watching our pup play off leash with the winery dogs.Will definitely be coming back!

This is my favorite vineyard we’ve visited across north Georgia. All the wines were above an beyond. The grounds and facilities were also way above expectations. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and pleasant conversations with other guests. A real gem!

I went here with my best gal pal to harvest grapes for the day then finish off with a lunch and wine provided by the owners. I loved the experience! Never got to help pick grapes for wine making before. Everyone there was super warm and hospitable. Also extremely professional without making the environment feel sterile. The wine provided with lunch was my favorite, we drank the varietal we harvested that day, Cabernet Franc. On top of the wine provided with lunch, we were able to go into the tasting room and taste other varietals, too. I had a great experience here and plan on bringing a larger group with me next time! 🍷🍇

Nice family run winery tucked away in Clayton. Great variety of wines to taste. The family is very passionate about wine and it shows in their award winning wines. Make sure to grab a jar of wine jelly, made fresh from left over wine.
