This was my first experience today at Tifton Pet Center. The staff was professional and helpful. We found what we needed and walked around looking at the selection of fish and other merchandise for sale. I didn't compare the prices to the big box stores because we only purchased what we needed at that time; however, I will be taking another field trip to visit this pet center.

When you go here it is great if your kids love pets you can ask to pet a bunny, cat, dog etc. and the owner will let you pick it up as well. I love it here 😁

Visited this ‘pet center’ today and you would think a pet center would care about all of their pets that they are housing. All of their tanks have epistyllis, which is a deadly bacterial/protozoan infection that the owner has no problem selling to people and not warning people with any kind of signage that the tanks are infected. Their Guinea pig enclosures had a horrible smell indicating they obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a while and their hermit crabs are on gravel with their only source of water being nearly dried up sponges, these crabs need to be able to fully submerge themselves in both saltwater and freshwater in order for them to be able literally breathe and survive on land. The owner is ignorant and defensive, not caring that care has been updated since 1985 when he claims he got started in the industry. Do NOT go here. They don’t care about their animals and willingly sell sick animals that will be disastrous and expensive for you to try and treat.

Very well kept store. Staff is very friendly and fairly knowledgeable. I did receive one piece of "bad" advice. But you can't win them all. They didn't quite have the type of tank decor I needed. But, that's not to say they dont have a decent selection. Their fish selection is much greater than a big box store and I highly recommend checking these guys out first.

Can only comment on the fish section since I don't have other pets. Decent selection of fish, but mostly common breeds in stock. Lots of smaller fish like tetras. No saltwater. Some live aquatic plants, but limited variaties. Excellent decorations and fish care supplies for a small store.

Great little locally owned store. We got a pair of guinea pigs for my stepson. Knowledgeable staff. New supply of guinea pigs on Wednesdays. Internet is a great resource for additional care.

They had a bunch of cute creatures. But my heart goes out to the pitiful lonely depressed ferret, his cage wasn't even kept clean. And they must keep the poor little puppies in these cages all day long! The prices for dog toys were a little pricey, because I found the same item at Walmart in a different color for almost HALF the price of what they charged.

I've used this petstore for years and until today I spoke highly of them and I'm ashamed of that now. I keep a variety of reptiles and at least once a week I used to come here but I never will again. We came for a mouse for our python and as always I went to look at the reptiles they sell today they had 2 dead one had been in the tank so long it was now flat and dried out to the consistency of beef jerky. Several other were missing limbs and those areas were black and necrotic which if not treated they will die other look sickly and near death. When I brought it to the young guy behind the counter attention he acted more annoyed than concerned and got a nasty attitude. It's really disgusting that any place would leave any living thing in those conditions. I might add until today I would drive an hour to come to this place but we won't be doing that again

Had great prices and staff was friendly. Went to look at budgies and they only had 15ish in 1 color but was told by a customer that they often have more. Got a male budgie and plan on going back.

Nice store, has pets Lil puppies we heard 1st thing walking in. Then also the large fish tanks. They have some nice sized Oscars plus a Cat fish for your pond. We were traveling close to them and stopped by on way home. Plenty of colorful Sailfish. We are working in a different city to build a store set up. So this gave us some ideas on a few things as far as fishes.

I always shopped here. Tyler was always a easy going person. Also Luke is a good person to ask questions to. But now the customer service is horrible. The girl who answer the phone have a bad attitude. I’ve got a fish aquarium a puppy and much more from there. But I really have be getting bad service. Then the young guy act like he don’t like helping when he is asked. The older lady get snappy when you say something. Just all around. I will be finding another pet store or just spend more money from petsmart or pet sense before I return to this pet shop.

I just adore the girl with the short hair there. She is always helpful and super knowledgeable. All the staff are great but I just love talking fish with her. We live an hour away but have no problem taking a trip to see the new exotic fish they get in and enjoying dinner in Tifton. We also bought our sweet 3 yr old Bostons, Lulu and Chloe from them. They are so sweet and healthy❤ This small business has been around since I was a kid and our parents would take us. Their Customer Service has always been great.

Found this little gem on Google after just moving to the state. All 3 gentleman we encountered on both are trips in one day we're friendly and helpful. They have a great fish selection. They have puppy's and bunnies and I'm sure many other critters.If you haven't you need to check them out.

I really want to like this place. Great selection of fish and decent prices, but the customer service on the weekends is lacking. I've been 4-5 times and it's always the same unless the older gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) is working. The other employees are hard to track down, disappear into the back for long periods of time, and seem bothered when you ask for something. They're much more interested in their phones than helping customers.

A lot of different pets and animals, they sometimes have Betta sororities and it's my absolute favorite to see! I always get my aquarium items here and for a pretty great price! Love this place!
