The best hospital to take your pet if your pet needs medical attention. They care and love your pet. I took my doberman to Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital after his clinic that he has been going to refuse him because he didn't have an appointment for his emergency. Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital saved my doberman life! He turned 11 years old while in the hospital, and the nurse also had the same birthday as my doberman, so she shared her cupcake with him so sweet and caring! Yes, if you love your pets, bring them to Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital for the best care!

Took my cat up here this morning to have a foot injury looked at. It was closer and more convenient than Evans Animal Hospital,my regular vet. David and Breanna were great. I was worried that Mouse wasn't going to be a good patient, they were so compassionate and gentle handling her. I had the records from my other cat and 3 dogs transferred to them. Thanks guys Mouse is on the mend.!

The staff vet techs are really good at their jobs and seem to genuinely care. Dr. Jones is one of the best vets I have ever encountered.The technician that owns the clinic is interested in one thing...taking as much money as possible, while he has the opportunity to do so. He comes into the exam room, before any actual clinical staff,to work the pet's family and determine what he can get away with. I feel he is manipulating the veterinarians to go along with his cruelty.Dr. Jones should have her own clinic and not be associated with this evil, cruel person.

I moved out of state a few years ago and just wasn't happy with the care my fur babies were getting in our new town. My little old man Jasper was going in for a dental cleaning and extractions and the Doctor found another issue that needed to be addressed. He explained what needed to be done and why. The care Jasper got was outstanding. The entire staff is outstanding! Knowing my fur babies are in excellent hands makes the drive well worth it.

I have used Mcduffie Animal Hospital for the last couple of years, I’ve always had a pleasant experience, never any problems. I had to take one of my babies in this week and this time we had a young lady that assisted us, and let me tell you………she rocks!!!! She was concerned, compassionate, and informative and really made me feel like we were not just "another visit.” She went out of her way to help me that day and she has a kind heart. She’s a perfect fit for the job she has. Thank you Brittany, the world needs more people like you!!!!!

I will never take my pup anywhere else !! I live about an hour away . When I first got my pup he had a bad head injury . They made my boy was VERY well taken care of . I believe they saved his life . At 7 weeks old his head was split , NOW you can’t tell he ever had a injury. Lucky LOVES all the staff they really go above & beyond . I can never thank you enough Thomson McDuffie ❤️

This is the face of my pup as I got in the car to bring her home from her spay surgery. Doesn’t she look like she’s smiling?! I guess it’s because she was so well taken care of here. This was our first visit and it’s obvious they really care about the animals in their care. The front desk was straightforward about the optional bloodwork and how much it would be (I didn’t even need to ask). They kept my pup overnight and even trimmed her nails. She’s doing great, and I am very thankful to the staff at Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital! Thank you so much!

Gave my cat a steroid drop for his eye without testing and the eye got worse within an hour. Had to take cat back the same day and got an antibiotic ointment. Took to another vet 2 days later because he was still sick and getting worse. Turns out, he had an infection and had to stay over night. Did not run any tests or even take his temperature. I do not recommend this vet clinic to anyone for anything.

We had a very troubling time this week with our normal Vet and an ER Vet. We were recommended to come see the crew at Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital which is about 35 minutes away, and we are glad we did. The staff are amazing and actually listen to you and then calmly explain next steps. They are now our new Vet and we would encourage everyone to take your fur babies to them.

This is the best animal hospital in the Thompson, GA area. They are also a kennel as well and when I go out of town they're the only people I trust with my cat Lucky. We recently boarded him there as we went to Myrtle Beach for a week and it was another wonderful experience for him and us.

Before I was not able to be with my animal in the vet office but now a new vet from that time I’m allowed to be there with them a must for meVet was busy but I was able to see them price is fair the exam room are a little small but staff are very professional and niceI would recommend them for your pets

Took a six week old kitten to them that the mother quit feeding. We couldn’t get her to eat or drink, she was bad off. They force fed her a little and got her body temperature up and sent her home. We had to put her down that night.Another recent issue with my dog, they tested and treated him for heart worms. However when I dropped him off to get checked out, I requested rabies vaccine. He was never vaccinated. The reception there is very inviting but there seems to be a disconnect from the front to the back. They have always seen my animals dating back 20 years. It is no longer your hometown vet and it shows.

Called and tried to get help with a stray dog that got hit by a car because McDuffie has no animal control and got passed around and put on hold with no results. No one was helpful at all and made you feel like you were bothering them. Would not take my animal here at all.

Not the best first impression, should have known something was off when it wasn't required to have my previous vet records (but my driver's license number is important????). Just moved from Maryland and my pup was due for bordetella vaccine, heartworm test, Lyme vaccine (not a thing in Georgia), and just an general annual physical. When I made the appointment I told them this is what he needed, when I checked in I wrote again what he needed. I assumed that everyone was on the same page ( I assumed wrong). They took him back to get his ONE shot, heartworm test, and a physical.When I am checking out, the front desk mentioned a tag, so I asked a tag for what. She said rabies vaccine. I told her my dog's rabies isn't due until 2024. I looked at the receipt and he got 2 shots (rabies and Dhpp) both which weren't due. No one asked to double check and confirm the reason for the appointment, or to confirm shots before just giving them. Never spoke with the vet who saw him. Maybe things are done differently here in Georgia, but it was not a pleasant experience.Side note: front desk was nice, just not a fan of the lack of communication in regards to care/treatment.

Receptionist was very sweet.Took one of three dogs to be spayed with $50 voucher from "That's what friends are for" and they took care of my baby so well that I will be returning in one week for my other dogs to be neutered. The clipped her nails, spayed her and she received her one year rabies shot. Most importantly they kept her over night. I dropped her off at 8:30am with nothing and picked her up the following day about 11:30am. This review is for McDuffie Animal Hospital because they did the work but an honorable mention to "That's What Friends Are For" for the inexpensive vouchers used to prevent overpopulating our cities especially for those who love animals, want to care for them but can't afford all the expenses (spay & neuter cost is $230-$425 per dog).Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

From the checking in to the checking out, the staff is so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Tammy, the groomer, does an amazing job and I feel like she truly cares about and loves my fur babies. Leanne at the front desk is always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Sanderlin is a very compassionate vet and extremely reasonable and knowledgeable in her care for our pets. David is always willing to help and a kind, friendly face that will step in to offer his skilled medical knowledge and experience as well. The entire staff and office are a pleasure and comfort in caring for my fur babies. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely the worst Vet office I have ever been to. They have zero sense of customer service. The receptionist is the laziest and most incompetent employee you could imagine. They go above and beyond to make things as difficult and as inconvenient as possible for you. You never get the chance talk to the vet, you are just passed down information between middle-men. I would implore anyone who cares about their animals to go anywhere other than this horribly ran office.
