I work very close to this grocery store, and visit quite frequently, I’ve never had an unpleasant experience until today…. One of the cashiers “Melinda” made me feel very uncomfortable and like I was being interrogated… asking inappropriate rhetorical questions, and has awful customer service skills…. I won’t be returning

Disability "electric" carts available. Clean, neat, no "odors". Good variety, however not good value; Items are more expensive than competitive food stores. Will shop here again only for staple, necessary items.

Only grocery store in town. Decent meat- helpful and friendly butcher, horrible produce. Small store, so not much variety. Stopped in the other day... as an example...Several brands of white vinegar and apple cider vinegar...not a single option for red wine vinegar. It seems that they could reduce the options for the same thing and add different things.

Stopped on a Sunday after church to pick up their advertised special from the deli.At 2 o clock on a Sunday they had none of the special chicken cooked and they had nothing cooking. They said it would be a 20 minutes wait to cook it if we wanted any.No apologies. Nothing.(Nice little ploy not to do their job. Offered a different deal that was more expensive. Just like a bait and switch. Do yourself a favor and buy from Walmart deli.)

There may be a rodent infestation problem, there were some droppings near the deli and I noticed them again in one of the meat cases. Most staff members seem nice, though not that helpful when it comes to finding things throughout the store. Produce department has gone down hill, can never seem to keep FRESH ripe tomatoes, grapes, or oranges. These are just a few of the many issues I've noticed at this location. Wish we had more options to do our grocery shopping locally. As a Thomson native, I would much rather shop for fresh grocery and produce out of town and that's saying a lot.

I had the best cashier ever Friday. She didn't make me feel bad cause I had a lot of items. She welcome me with a warm smile, ask me how I'm doing and how's my day going and after I paid she told me to have a blessed day. We need more services like her :) I hope she'll be there when I shop again :)

Cashiers were very helpful and nice. The manager was rude and came up and told the cashiers off in front of the entire store though and that is the only reason I'm reviewing is because a manager should not act like that. If they need to reprimand someone, it should be in private.

I eat lunch from the deli pretty frequently and it is generally very good and fairly inexpensive compared to other comparable options in the area. Breakfast is excellent. Edit 12/7/2021 - The deli lunch has taken a turn for the worse. Seems like higher food prices and labor shortages in the current economic climate have hit them hard. Prices have gone up drastically and the service is not what it once was.

As a customer service worker I see things that other people do not see so I may be a little more confused with how other stores run. But I was looking for an item and after I couldn't find it I asked 3 employees and none of them knew the location of the item. One of them even said "im not sure, sorry" then proceeded to go back to working. Floors were sticky in some areas of the store, and just the overall representation of the staff were under-par.

Despite it being busy they had enough registers open to quickly check people out. They also had workers all through the store doing price changes and stocking who were available for any questions. The store was clean despite the stock sitting out on the floor. We were easily able to find everything we needed. Overall a good shopping visit.

Had a little time to kill today so I figured I'd check out some of the other stores in the area. I remembered shopping in an IGA store in North Caroling called Honey's in the western part of Lincoln County. I loved their meat section and the prices on other items. This store had a constant flow of people in and out of it. Some prices are about same as other stores. The meat dept. was my place for deals, matter of fact I ended up spending over 35.00 today. I'm talking about on couple different style of steaks, center cut porch chops and some other items. There are great deals to be found here. They space items you think should be grouped together threw out the store, causing you to walk and look at other sections. Plenty of parking, easy in and out of. People here are great, even the customers where helpful and very friendly. They have my business for sure. Great little store on HWY 278 between Warrington and Thomson, GA.

It reminds me of the Mom and Pop type stores from the past. They have a nice meat department, some fresh produce and the staple items you expect. But it isn't like the big chain stores with an aisle devoted to water alone. But it is a nice store, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

I was in on Dec.24th i spent 85.00,i had a bag of apples ask the cashier to check the price and it showed 3.19 ,but once she scanned for me to purchase it showed 4.99,and she call over an manager he stated if it scanned 4.99 thats the price cause they were having issues with produce prices but i didn't purchase cause it scanned 3.19,so i feel like he should've override it to show good customer service.

Horrible. They know they are the only grocery store in our area but yet there is not enough cashiers or registers.Prices are competitive and store appears to be clean.Deli "can't ring anyone up" that just bought deli food.

Found everything we needed. The store was clean and well-stocked. Can't say much for the person who checked us out. She didn't speak a word until we asked how she was, then she said, "Fine," but she didn't look fine. Never made eye contact and never spoke again until I thanked her, and she said, "You're welcome." Gee. I thought she was supposed to thank US for shopping at IGA! I guess everyone can have a bad day.

It was an ok experience, prices are the highest in town except for the meats. Very good pricing on pork and chicken. My cashier was very nice and cordial but others were just standing around just looking everywhere else.
