My friend purchased a few bails of pine straw there this AM, and I was very impressed. The bails were the tightest packed I have ever seen. They would not come apart without cutting the stringsGreat buy.

Great customer service! The owners are usually there, I enjoy doing business with local folks. I've been going to Golden Brothers Feed Co. since I was a small child, when they were located on Smith Ave. closer to Broad Street. Daddy and I would go to get Hog Feed and I could always get a belly washer soda in the bottle, ice cold, out of their 35 cents Coke-a-Cola machine. Customers could buy feed buy the pound in bulk. It was simply a feed and seed warehouse, with saw dusted, feed scattered, dirt tracked floors. I loved the smell of the hay piled in the corner of the old wooden warehouse.This day...it is still as charming, Beautiful selection of bird feeders and wind chimes. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful to sell you what you NEED, without pushing any extras

Such a nice store to shop in and the staff are always helpful. Livestock and pet feed available as well as water troughs and hay rings. Some tack is available as well.
