7 pm on Saturday when MOST people do their shopping. This store has 2 regular registers open. 1 express, and self check out. This is ridiculous Walmart. To have to stand in line for 35-40 mins to check out. And by the way, this is not the first Saturday it's been like this.

My Thomaston Walmart is clean, well stocked and friendly service. I've never encountered a cashier with a bad attitude. And their Pharmacy is the best, however I wish they'd reopen curbside.

No staff to help shoppers. Lots of carts blocking the narrow aisles. Only exception to this rating is the eyewear department. Those sales associates are first rate.

ONE THING POSITIVE I CAN SAY ABOUT THOMASTON WALMART IS THEY SEEM TO BE TRYING TO KEEP MORE REGISTERS OPEN WITH ACTUAL PEOPLE. MY WIFE CAN'T STAND SELF CHECKOUT SO I'M THE ONE MOSTLY DOING THE SHOPPING. THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY & NICE TO ME.

(Disclaimer I’m not a fan of Walmart) Overall convenience is the best part about Walmart, they are consistently keeping the place clean and decently stocked, the staff is helpful (when they are around) and prompt most of the time when picking up online orders, biggest short fall is the lack of cashiers at any given time, it’s gets woefully overcrowded when check out lines get backed up, with all that being said it’s a better Walmart than most so that’s worth something

Used the gas station with Walmart+. Like the tech, but it is a pain to pull up and find the code every time. Should use NFC and recognize the card I have in my Walmart app wallet and apply the discount, take payment at the same time. Do not get me wrong, I am grateful for the discount, but have watched others, and have done it myself, fiddle with finding the code in the app for 5 minutes before even stating to pumping fuel as it keeps moving around. Putting it on the camera screen has helped.

I do pick up orders here all the time, it's super easy on the app, and they let you pick substitutions for each item if you want any. The only issue is sometimes they don't have everything I need, but it's a Walmart in a small town.

A payday weekend with only 1 self scan register open for cash. The other 6 registers were card only, when the cash only self scan runs out of cash no other registers were going to be opened for cash! How stupid of Walmart, they ran off and forced other stores to close to be the exclusive retailer in the area. Now that they have the monopoly on us the retail customer it's their way or the highway! I'll find my goods elsewhere from now on in non-Walmart stores.

I made an 8am appointment for tires, I arrived at 7:45a. They did a walk in oil change before my vehicle which they didn't start on until 9:20a. Might as well have walk in only if you just see customers in order of who gets to the counter first.

You can gauge how nice a walmart is by its trading card section. This one is nice but going down hill fast. Overflowing with baseball cards no one buys and the the stuff people do buy is messy and cleaned out by scalpers.

Thomaston, GA Walmart9/13/22 - Yesterday, we had our groceries delivered to our home as part of the Walmart PLUS! I love the Walmart plus!My COMPLAINT is that I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE DELIVERY PERSON DRIVING ACROSS MY LAWN and backing up to the porch to unload light weighted groceries. She left tire tracks all over the front yard!If she had called and asked us for permission, we might have given the okay or asked her to let us help herunload from the driveway less than fifteen feet away.This was pure LAZINESS on her part. There was no excuse for this.PLUS, the frozen foods ordered were not delivered. When we called, it took forever to get a response. Frozen foods were finally delivered four and a half hours later.On top of this, Walmart in Thomaston is always out here of products and having to make substitutions for items they advertise. Once in a while being out of something is one thing, but habitually is a PROBLEM!

Wal-Mart has some excellent deals on flat screen TVs. We picked up a Samsung 55" for under $400. If you can navigate the limited checkout aisles and are patient enough to stand in the long self checkout queue, you'll find you save some money.

A cashier and manager denied my WIC items because they didn't want to do their jobs! Then, had the nerve to get smart with my husband and I while we had our child. One of ladies names was Mary. This place is awful and needs new employees! They've messed up my Walmart orders a few times. When you call to complain all they do is try to justify why the employees weren't in the wrong! Just sorry, pitiful and disgusting. I don't even understand how they're still in business ❌👎🏾

I have Walmart plus now everytime that I make an order a couple of things are missing. It shows that it's picked, so I believe that the drivers are stealing it. Walmart corporate is always quick to refund me but what's the point of paying for Walmart plus if I can't count on getting all of the items that I paid for?

So we went this morning to get worms and some other fishing accessories. I'm not going to lie about anything... Everything, as usual, was .... except the section of fishing weights. Could most definitely have had a better variety to choose from.

It's Walmart, I do NOT expect cashiers to be waiting, I do NOT expect great customer service, I do NOT expect full shelves, BUT what I DO expect is when a store that makes that much money but are too cheap to buy more (or decent running) electric carts for the elderly and disabled they HELP a person who is sitting there helplessly feeling like a fool with a cart screaming that loud beeper! I am a disabled woman in my 60's unable to walk more than a few feet. It's hard enough to shop alone with those things (they tip over easily) but some will show full power then get you to the middle of the store and it dies! This has happened a few times and I would see store employees avoid me, actually see them start to come my way, (for something else) see me and either turn back or skirt around me. Once I caught a female employee, asked if she would get me a cart, I was sorry but I can't walk that far. She walked off and I was relieved thinking she was getting me one, I didn't care about her rudeness, I just needed help. She never came back.When I was a child I watched a movie called The Invisible Man. I thought, like all kids, "how cool would that be, to be invisible?" Now I know. NOT COOL!

Garbage. Nobody in electronics the last 10 minutes it was supposed to be open. Guy pulling a pallet told us to hurry and find somebody because electronics closes at 10:00 or we wouldn't have known. Found someone up front at 10:01 but sorry we can't open the cases now. She said we had somebody back there until 15 minutes ago apparently not realizing it was only 1 minute after the department was supposed to close.End of a 2 day effort to buy a new Nitendo Switch and 2 games. Griffin store didn't have anything but Switch Lites and Thomaston store doesn't have anyone who can open a case. Wonder if Amazon will have those problems.

Stocked plentifully. I'm a big city person and it was nice to be in a smaller town where they actually had things stocked and not ransacked! Not a big fan of Walmart, but you won't be disappointed when you go here. Lots of neighboring places to shop and eat, too.

Work here over nights, don’t recommend doing that.The management on days especially on the front end including James and Linda are great they are always busting their behinds in that place, they have a pretty nice setup and the money center is always pretty fast if that’s what you are looking for.

It's always a good experience except a few times with this one girl that works the self check out she harassed me for the longest I stopped going through there and if I could remember her name I'd for sure report her and one lady working the cash register that is always the rudest ever no matter how nice you are to her she actually told me to hurry up that I had to hurry up and get out of there, I asked the time it's like 6pm I said I thought you all close at 11? She said well there are people behind you so you need to move it's not the first time she has been rude or rolled her eye's and a big sigh but I just smile and pray for those. Other than that it's Wal-Mart and I love it
