ACE has most everything you need, but if they don't carry it, they can tell you where to purchase it. Excellent customer service, and all the employees are very helpful, friendly, and professional.

I bought a 50amp breaker (they are all stored loose in the store unwrapped and touching) it ended up being the wrong style. I went back today to try and swap for the correct type (with the original receipt). The owner said he would not swap because of tiny chip (the size of a pen tip) that isn’t common to anything that I could have damaged. The defect does not affect form, fit, or function (see picture) interesting to lose a repeat customer over a $33 part however that is the culture set in this store. Never have had any trouble buying anything in the store just make sure you inspect everything very well before you purchase. I wish I could say I was talking to a sales associate but this was the owner.

Way too eager to “help”. The first time I thought it was just because I was a woman. They asked me every 2 minutes if I needed help finding something. The second time my husband was with me and it was the same thing. I guess you can’t just look around. They asked so many times we finally just checked out and left.

I love ace hardware but not the one in temple they want let you browse and shop . They watch you so hard that it makes me feel uncomfortable it's very nerve wracking trying to shop there it is for me anyway I would rather drive a few miles more and spend my money at Home Depot than to shop at ace hardware in temple

This is the hardware store that you remember as a kid! It has all sorts of building stuffs and cool tools. A gem of a hardware store! Great location for a quick run. They are surprisingly well stocked. The staff is helpfu, friendly, and knowledgeable.

My experience with ACE Hardware was ok but what I had problems with was the very first salesman he did not bring up new ideas to make the job that I was doing easier or better than what I was trying to do. He should have recommended shark bites in place of soldering it would have been less costly the first time around than me wasting money on the copper and soldering material that did not work because it was standing water in the water lines, I had to figure this out myself. This location had all the parts I requested to do the job but I wasted money because I had to do the job twice but with different materials, The salesman was not knowledgeable about plumbing and he did not recommend new or better ideas to perform the simple job now I am not sure why was it because he did not know or was it because I was a black man Hmmm. I wonder! So this is why I rated the score so low.

I moved within one mile of this store one year ago. Every time I go in they are always more than willing to help me find exactly what I'm looking for. They have a great staff and owner. I had rather spend my money with them over the big box stores. You should definitely give them a shot next time you need something.

My husband got home today and was upset. His belt broke after 4 years so he bought a deck belt for his lawnmower. He put it on and it shredded within 30 minutes.My husband went to return it with the receipt. The young man at the register was so nice and was trading the item, but the store owner said to the young man "what are you doing he can't return this.This conversation is over." My husband objected and tried to reason with him. His only answer was that something was wrong with the mower. Then he told my husband to get out of his store. Totally unprofessional and rude. We will not be treated this way by people like him. His success in business is totally dependent on the clients who buy the products he stocks.

I love this place. They carry everything. They carry home decor and tools. Anything your heart desires , I bet you can find it here. They carry a lot more merchandise than they used to. Go see your friendly Ace hardware. You definitely won't be disappointed. I sure wasn't.

My husband stopped in this Ace while we were at a softball tournament in Buchanan. It was a freezing cold day in April believe it or not and our girls needed a heater! The staff was super sweet and helpful! PS tell them we won 1st place!
