The workers followed my husband around like he was going to steal something and when he asked for help were extremely rude and said they didn’t have what he needed, I went inside and found it no problem and they didn’t say anything to me. Poor customer service if you ask me

Man! I went into this Dollar General today at lunch and upon entering I had to stop to take a look around to ensure I was at the right location. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE seen a Dollar General so smacking clean. I was so amazed that I went down every isle and even peeked in the store room door which was cracked-this was utterly amazing to me. As I approached the register an associate by the name of Tiffany Dutton was helping another customer. Shocking enough was that she acknowledged me and ensured that she will be with me shortly. Once she had finished she swiftly approached and lead myself along with other customers to the register. I had to applaud her and a young man by the name of Roger Padgett, they were the only two in the store and handled the customer flow with an honorable since of urgency.I told Ms. Dutton that I would like to do an review in regards to my experience, and guess what? she so selflessly provided her name and Rogers name. But wait... She even provided her Managers name Jennifer Sapp even though she was not present. This is the exemplification of an power team, one in which companies can only dream about. WOW!I don't normally do reviews, however this one stands to be talked about. I went to Dollar General for the first time in a few months and they had a young lady who was so helpful, and kind. Not only that she made me feel welcome. When I thanked her for her kindness she told me she really loved her job and it was very obvious that she did. Great day at Dollar General!

Guy was rude af. Needs to get some training on people skills. I don't have to shop your store and won't be back. I'll drive an hour before I go back in that store again

The staff in this store are super nice and very very helpful. If you can't find it they will take the time to help you. The store is pretty much organized other than people leaving stuff on wrong shelves that they decide they don't want. They keep their shelves pretty well-stocked with merchandise. Nice addition to the community.

Friendly staff, clean store, and more than what I'm looking for. It was a little crowded in some places with stock carts out. Where were the stock people? But hey glad to see the place is filling up atleast. The check out lines were a little long too. Don't understand why there wasn't another employee? Someone to call for backup during a rush.

When you shop Temple Dollar General look at the price on the shelves and compare them with the checkout price. On the items I buy it's more at the checkout than listed on the shelves. I expect to pay the price that's on the shelf underneath the product. I don't like doing business at a place like that.

The dollar general in temple is honestly one of the worst looking stores i’ve seen. I don’t normally write reviews, but it is a complete mess in most of the isles there. The section with clothes looks like it hasn't been touched.. ever. The little “supplies” isle is a mess and stuff is rarely in its place. and they just have random boxes of product on the shelf they haven’t even put out. The dollar general in villa rica is 10x better, and CLEANER. I only stop by the one in temple because its close to my house.

Store is pleasant to shop. Associates seem to be customer service oriented. However store does need help in getting the store stocked. Out of stocks will drive customers to shop at competition and thus sales will decrease.

This DG is particularly dirty. There is literally trash pretty much surrounding the building in the grass outside. Inside is disorganized with sloppy shelves. It is convenient though, and nice to have close by. Just wish they'd take better care of it.

Awful! My mom was considering working there when one of the employees told her that theres alot of drama between all the staff. I went there once and they were storing all there drinks and food wrappers in places such as the icecream cooler,on top of items and everything. I dont even feel welcome her causw of the looks one employee gave me!:(

This is a great place to get all your cleaning supplies anything you need to disinfect sweep mop wipe down clean up kitchen bathroom garage Vista Place For You Dollar General you will really enjoy everything here and a great great rice try it out!!

The store is disorganized and items are not clearly priced. Often clearance items and signs are misleading, missing altogether and items are placed in the wrong area of the store. They do not correct a price they just take the item away from you and tell you to come back and talk to a manager that there is nothing they can do. The staff doesn't appear very well trained or informed & several have been unable to fix pricing issues or answer questions on multiple visits.

Didn't have my product in stock. Rude lady after waiting in line she did not tell me to go to another register cause she had a video until I waited in line and got to her. Very rude and she was not at all apologetic.

I understand that some services costs money. First time ever I have to add money to my Chime card, was expecting to maybe pay a couple of bucks or a small percentage fee for reloading cards. Struggling with money being affected by the coronavirus and with missing work with my dad having a stroke, I had $42 to put on my Chime card. I was ok on paying $2 to put $40 on my Chime card but instead was only able to put $38 because it costed $4 to add money. $2-$4 may be nothing to most, but I needed that other $2. It would've helped with groceries

The store here in temple has improved alot in the last month or two.and compared to other dollar generals such as carrollton stores...its very clean and organised and the emomoyees are on top of customer service.keep up the good work

This store had plenty of the Dasani on sale, but ran out of the Fanta that was on sale. Also they had a hard time doing all the coupons and discounts, however they figured it out eventually.

Long lines when there is no reason with extra staff walking around in the store. Prices are over priced but that is to be expected. If you can wait to go else where do it.
