We have heard great comments about Bell's Family Pharmacy and stopped in to check them out. A local pharmacy with a gift section and a lunch counter. Such a wonderful experience, brings back memories of some of the great times enjoying ice cream when I was a child. The menu has a nice selection of sandwiches, even breakfast ones. My wife and I shared two scoops of ice cream, we really enjoyed it. Next time we will order a sandwich.If you are in the area stop in.

I think this place is so adorable . But what won me was these sandwiches. It was delicious I had a number 4) called Tate it was a chicken , bacon provolone ,mayo lettuce & tomato.

Their friendly staff are the best they are well mannered and quick to get your prescription at the best price. I mean they message you when it's ready with the price. It gets better they wished me a happy birthday and gave me a free scoop of ice cream from the soda fountain. 🙂 Thanks for the best service a customer could ask for

I love Bell’s. They truly are a one stop shop!! Cute gift items and home decor, hot sandwiches and ice cream, and of course a full pharmacy!! Katie was so helpful and listened to my concerns. Truly a piece of history. Each time I walk in, I smile. The floors are beautiful old wooden, they have a wonderful soda fountain and do an awesome lunch. The pharmacy is so professional and friendly.

I stopped here for a sandwich after a recommendation from a friend (I was passing through Tate on a road trip) and I loved it!!! It's a combination pharmacy/sandwich counter/gift shop. I met the owner, Sherry, and we had a lovely conversation while I waited on my sandwich...the food is great (all Boar's Head products!!) and everyone in the place is so friendly and welcoming. It felt like one big family (her daughter is the pharmacist) and the girl who took my order was super friendly. I will be stopping here every time I am passing through! If you are anywhere near Tate I definitely recommend stopping by here for lunch. And don't forget to give love to the sweet shop dog, Lucy 💗💗💯

I love the hand dipped ice cream with waffle cone. All of the desserts are fabulous. Cute farmhouse decor, something for everyone. The staff is always happy to see you and its just great to stop in just to browse or get your icecream fix on!

The staff makes you feel like part of there family. Miss Katie goes out of her way to make sure your pharmacy needs are met. Best food and ice cream in Tate Ga. They also had lots of items to pick from for gifts or own use. Always a smile on everyone face there. Love them. Stop by and feel down home with Bells Family Pharmacy. Go Dawgs!

This place was a God-send! Driving through the winding mountains, my son got carsick and threw up. I needed to buy some Dramamine, and they had it. There weren't many options to get some where we were. While there, we stopped for lunch: the ice cream was delicious, a wide variety of sandwiches and drinks. Kids loved the color-changing ice cream spoons! Not many places like this exist anymore: food, bathrooms, gifts, pharmacy, coffee. I hope this place lasts for a long time.

The pharmacy staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They kept me up to date on the status of all my meds and promptly let me know if there was a problem with one. Mercedes was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about all my medications. I would highly recommend this business to others!

We love Bell's Pharmacy. Everyone there is helpful and friendly and the pharmacy staff always go above and beyond to be sure you get what you need - at the best possible price! They have a wonderful soda fountain with delicious sandwiches, drinks, and ice cream. There is also a nice selection of home decor items for gifts for family and friends or for yourself. So happy to have this so close to our home!

A whimsical emporium of great food and hospitality! We had just flown in from Toronto and drove north for an adventure and stopped by because we had read so many great reviews. We were not disappointed!! This is worth the drive - amazing sandwiches (grilled chicken and grilled cheese!) And mouth watering shakes. 10 out of 10 on food with great friendly people and some unique gifts. And the pharmacy even have holistic healing remedies in addition to traditional allopathic ones. We will remember this place and will visit again!!

This is the MOST wonderful pharmacy around run by a young lady pharmacist and her sister who runs the soda fountain which has great sammies and Ice cream. They even sell home decor for the lady shoppers.

The customer service was on point, and the food well it's great I had a chicken, bacon combo toasted on sourdough, it left me full but wanting another. They also have very high quality kettle chips, and the sweat tea is perfect north Georgia tea, the hand dipped ice cream was really good as well. Awesome little hole in the wall place to grab a midday meal.

Stopped by here a couple of days ago and grabbed a sandwich to go and it was amazing!! Luckily I'm back in the area again and here I am eating another roast beef sandwich... I haven't made my way to the ice cream yet,but I will... Also everyone that works here is so friendly and nice. Came though ball ground on my motorcycle and stopped in for a sandwich. February’s special took me back to my childhood with a friend bologna on white bread with American cheese - an unapologetic classic. It was perfect. The lady behind the bad was nice and the whole establishment is super cute. Will for sure be back

This is a wonderful old fashioned drugstore with a great little place to get a sandwich, ice cream or other delicious treats! The soda fountain is a real treat. The pharmacy offers excellant care in filling your prescriptions. They have been wonderful to have during this pandemic, especially for those of us who would not do well having Covid. They have delivered my Medications to my home saving me the trip and risk of exposure. I grew up having a small town pharmacy and this is the type of store I always loved, always caring and friendly!

What an absolute treat! The nostalgic atmosphere, the yummy sandwiches, amazing assortments of ice creams, and a fantastic gift selection! You could not ask for more! As soon as you step inside, you feel the warm welcome of their gracious Southern hospitality! Tate, Georgia has certainly been blessed with a wonderful gem of a place!

I stopped in hoping for the nostala of an ice cream parlor or the quality of a good deli counter. Mimi's fell a bit short for me on both counts. The interior doubles as kitschy gift shop and the sandwiches are completely average.We tried the #4 and #2. A bit pricey for what was served, but decently portioned. Too much mayo and the #4's bread was stale.The folks behind the counter were friendly and professional. The place was spotless. The ice cream was very reasonably priced and of good quality. I would come back, but I would skip lunch and go straight to dessert.

I am a teacher at Tate Elementary. I love to be able to stop after school to pick up my medication and an ice cream! Katie and her staff are very helpful and friendly! It is a great place to pick up a gift for a friend or family member! If you have never had their egg salad sandwich, it one of the best in town!

We stopped in on the way to Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. Great sandwiches and Ashby’s Sterling ice cream. They have a nice gift section with items for home, bath and kitchen. Super friendly staff as well! We’ll be back and split a sandwich next time so we can try the milkshakes.

Stopped in two weeks ago for a milkshake. I believe it was Kelly who made my picky boyfriends milkshake and she was wonderful. Today we stopped in 30 minutes before closing and they were very welcoming. This time we had a perfect milkshake made by Charlie. The sandwiches were delicious, Boarshead meat & the best multigrain bread. The blueberry cheesecake is to die for. You can’t go wrong no matter what you get. I love supporting LOCAL & FAMILY owned. With Charlie there it’s like diner and a show.
