I love this place. Talmo is a neat place that has kept its historic buildings. The grill is in one of them and has many cool signs from the past. I always get the talmo burger with pimento cheese, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. This burger is so juicy that bun has no chance. The beef comes fresh from their farm. Finally, the waitresses work hard to get your order right and your drinks refilled. They are also very nice.

This is a cool old place with a lot of history! As soon as you enter it feels like you step back in time to the days of mom and pop diners with service that was much more personal. The Chicken Sandwich was excellent and fresh! The service was great as well with friendly and attentive servers! I love this little place and hope to return again!!

Great food and friendly service. Talmo is a small town in between Gainesville Georgia and Athens Georgia. We eat here often. Never had anything that wasn’t good. The burgers are homemade and cooked to order, local beef from Talmo Ga! The Steak and gravy biscuit is my favorite for breakfast and my daughter loves the sausage biscuit!My daughter and I own Magnolia Eighty Nine women’s boutique. We participated in the towns Spring Market Trade Day 2024! We had a wonderful time! Everyone was very friendly and helpful since this was our first time being a vendor. We loved it and will definitely be back!

If your looking for an authentic Southern restaurant. Talmo Market Grill is the place. Their breakfast & lunch is very good! The employees are so friendly & the food is cooked to order. The omelette is my favorite for breakfast. It’s not on the menu, you’ll have to ask for it. Enjoy and pass it on!

In an incredible energy of staff pride, customer love and support, and the history of a different Era, Talmo Market Grill serves up not only great classics but a feeling of nostalgia.From the vinyl table cloths adorned with fresh cherries to the staff that still walks around with a coffee pot, re-filling coffee cups at breakfast, this place operates flawlessly, and at full boar.Food is wonderfully consistent. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Their breakfast biscuits are phenomenal and you can get anything from bacon to bologna or steak tenderloin. My fave is the sausage, egg, and cheese - add bacon. Lunch burgers also don't disappoint.This place truly epitomizes the neighborhood hidden gem. They've also now added a general store chock-full of sweet gifts and treats.

Talmo grill is the best burgers in Georgia. They raise the cow. Kill the cow. Cook it to perfection. And it's cheap. Its cheaper than McDonald's. Real buns. Real meat. The fries are delicious. The breakfast biscuit are even better. I suggest the sausage egg biscuit smothered in white gravy. Amazing!

We always passed by this place and wondered how the food was. Today was the day we stopped in and we were amazed by the food and atmosphere! This little restaurant is not only rich in food but history as well. The waitress Katie was very pleasant even when dealing with rude old men. The hours make it a difficult to get to eat there if you're not from the area but I think that it also adds to the charm. Will definitely stop by here when we can!! 10/10!!!

Been wanting to try this place for over a year. Limited hours. But we finally made it. When you step inside you feel like you’re in diner back in the 50’s. Squeaky wood floors, swinging doors behind the counter. Collectibles galore. I ordered the single burger and shoestring fries. Delish. My husband ordered chicken sandwich with coleslaw.

You only get 1 shot at a 1st impression and this didn't fair well for me . Got my order wrong . Ordered a Talmo style bacon cheeseburger, with everything on it , medium . Got an over cooked plain cheeseburger with nothing on it . In their defense, I did not bring it to anyone's attention, I was short on time , and had already taken a couple bites before I realized something wasn't right. My wife got a chicken salad sandwich, which was beyond bland and light on chicken salad. I've heard nothing but good things about this place, but for me not overwhelmed

First time in and I love the atmosphere and friendly staff. Burger was ok but a little small for me ( full disclaimer I'm 6'3" 300lbs ) so it's relative 😉This will certainly be the first of many trips.Parking: Plenty of parking around back. No need to park on road out front, leave it those who need to be close.

I almost didn't want to post a review just so i can keep this place a secret, but places like this need to be kept open. PLEASE stop by here if you have a chance and you will not be disappointed. I got a delicious salad and my co-worker got a burger that i was jealous of. I will be coming back.

I would have given this place a 5 star rating but I just don't like the fries. They are greasy and a little on the burnt side. Which is don't on purpose I know, but Its just not my cup of tea. Everything else is fresh as fresh gets and tastes AMAZING!The little down home feel the place gives off is fully authentic. Love it!!Will definitely frequent this place!Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp goes all the way to the door. There are no stairs

Started out great. Then the towns "good ol boys" showed up. I'm talking about the 60+ year olds who think they run the town and it's people. It started out with talking about my car tag and how they have to check people from my home state. How we don't know how to raise our children and that Spanish is now the official language. The real kicker is the one who initially started it all is from NY, then moved to FL for 20+ years and then to this small minded town. All of this happened just about 6ft from our table and the group of men grew to be about 8. While the town is quaint, don't be fooled into stopping for even a very basic meal. I happened to be with 2 of my children who are in their 30's and hold very intellectual and high paying jobs.

Well..lunch roast beef special my husband had was decent he said. My lunch was a water base frito pie that had an over abundance of water soaked dark chili with beans, 10 pieces of shredded lettuce and 4 diced pieces of tomato. Not a satisfactory experience. Pie and tea were flavorless. Way overpriced.NO HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACES. IS THAT EVEN LEGAL?
