Absolutely gorgeous, no pun intended! This park is absolutely worth going to. The "hiking" trail is very easy and the views make it even better. With several overlooks, you get numerous chances to take in the beauty of the falls and the ingenuity of the dam. The trail for the most part is dog friendly except the bridge that goes over the gorge. There is a cute little gift shop and I believe an educational area in the beginning of the park however I did not go inside because we had our dog. The bathrooms were also clean and had several stalls. Overall I would rate this park a 10/10 and we will be coming back.

This is an amazing experience for kids and adults. You can learn so much about the wildlife around Tallulah, and the center is free to enter. The gift shop has some really nice stuff, and all the proceeds go to the park. I'll definitely be coming back.

Coolest visitor center I’ve been to! They had all kinds of wildlife displays, live snakes & fish, photographs & info all about the location. Definitely don’t skip this place when you visit the gorge.

Best place ever you will love it promise and parking us only $5. Best time to go is end of February beginning of March when it's not to hot. Because there are a lot of Stairs over 300 I no it's worth going to but my regret I should have had lunch at the bottom at tge falls not at the top. Because u need to get your times worth

Very helpful staff here. They helped me navigate the park as a disabled person and with my friendly pup. The gorge is beautiful with several trails to choose from. Wear your sunscreen and bring your walking stick. All the visitors I met were very kind and considerate.

The visitor center at Tallulah gorge is worth a visit. It’s only $5 to park per vehicle and it’s free if you have the Georgia State Park parking pass. It’s great for families or just exploring local history. There are also several trails just out the back of the visitor center to explore.

Strenuous but gorgeous trails. The views are breathtaking. Lots of nature to take in. The waterfalls are amazing.

Worth the stop, and the $5 parking fee to explore the center and the hiking trails. Kids love the museum. And the many views of the falls! We buy a state park pass every year, so we can just pull in without paying the $5 parking each visit. Check with the clerk in the visitors center if you’re interested in purchasing a park pass! Have fun!

Visited on Boxing day (December 26th, 2020). The folks at the center are very helpful. We were looking for a short (1-2 mile) hike with good views. And the people at the center told us exactly what tarils we need to hike for that purpose. The trails were a bit crowded but very well maintained. The views are gorgeous. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive from Atlanta.

Amazing place to visit if you get the chance. The gorge itself is a pretty decent hike, but dogs aren’t allowed in the deeper area of the gorge due to the steepness. A lot of great sights and wild life to see.

Really fun hike for all ages, but the steps are real and strenuous. There's a few stops for water along the steepest section but the loop from north ridge to South ridge is more flat without water stations.

Informative representation of the history of Tallulah Gorge State Park. There are many trails walk and observation areas to take pictures. The most daunting is the approximately 1.050 steps round trip up & down the Gorge. Tough but definitely worth it!

I had the most amazing time here with my sister in law and a few friends. This is not an easy hike if you are considering hiking the entire gorge and back up. I dont recommend taking children as there is a lot of rock climbing. Bring A LOT of water!! Wear a swim suit under your clothes or something u don't mind getting wet. You WILL get wet. Wear good hiking shoes. I took my shoes off to get across the water twice. Bring some snacks. They only allow the first 100 people to hike down to the gorge so be there at open if you plan on the whole hike. Also, once you've gone down the 200 something stairs there isn't a trail or anything so you have to just find your way. And back up is an all incline rock climb to the top. We got there at 8am and left about 2. This was my favorite place of all the places I've been. So far...

The views are breathtaking! I highly recommend. Hurricane falls is a short trail, about 2 miles, but there are sooooo many stairs so you will get a workout. You take the north rim trail down the stairs, across the suspension bridge, down to the gorge, back up the south stairs, and around back to the interpretive center. If you don’t like heights, this is not for you. I also recommend going early on the weekend. Got there about 9am on Saturday and there were not many people there so there was lots of parking. By the time we left, it was absolutely packed. You will want to take pics and it’s hard when there are a lot of people also wanting to take pics. Overall, this was a fantastic experience!

The workers inside the center are happy to go over the trail map and give pointers. There is a cute gift store and lots of displays inside the nature center. The trails begin downstairs behind the center. We did the stairs, across the suspension bridge, and down to bottom viewing platform for Hurricane Falls. The gorge floor was closed at the time we were there (June 2021) due to Covid but they were expecting restrictions to lift soon. The stairs are metal grate style so trekking poles/walking sticks can be hard to use on them unless they have a wide bottom. There are plenty of landings and benches so you can take your time. Going down was a bit dizzying because it is a lot of stairs. The suspension bridge was fantastic. Great photo opps and you can feel in moving as you walk over it. We were there on a rainy day so temp was good but we sure felt it climbing all those steps. Definitely doable, though, if you are in reasonable health and able to do stairs. Views are very pretty in the Gorge.

Pretty Cool Interpretive Center located in the Tallulah Gorge. Lots of interesting information about the Gorge and it's History!

We love to stop here when driving through. The park and the visitor center are clean and well run. Get there early in the morning for easy parking. It fills up. Take food and water if you plan to hike the trail (super steep steps) down to the suspension bridge and beyond. Wear comfortable shoes! It's a workout, but worth it. Views are gorgeous. Even if you don't hike down to the bridge, stop and look around.

Beautiful. That's really all you need to say about this place. Stopped here on our way to gatlingburg and we are so glad we did. Only thing I regret is not having the right shoes on for those millions of steps lol. Would love to come back and do some hiking here

Always a beautiful place to visit. We've been several times, this time with friends. It did rain but the paths and trials remained safe on this day. Excellent photo opportunities.

Awesome park. Great scenery. Only $5 per car which gets you entry to any GA state park on the same day. Black Rock State Park is just a short drive north (just N of Clayton) and both can be leisurely visited on the same day.

It was a fine hike. Pretty heavy foot traffic though. Was nice views to see! I will be going back and spending a day hitting all the trails soon.

Closed from Fri-Sun. Bathrooms are acceptable, parking is tight and was $5 for a day pass when I went on a Sunday. Tallulah Falls was literally a dam that pours a gush of water into a pit, which then streams through some brown rocks into some more brown rocks, then into a river where I guess people swim. I never went down to that area because I wasn’t interested in swimming in a tourist trap during Covid. The entire place was EXTREMELY crowded. If you’re driving through on a long family trip, its a fun place to stretch your legs. If it’s literally anything else, such as a destination, I do not recommend going.

It's not just Visitor Center, more that that. They displayed complete history of the falls and a small museam. They do have live animals and Snakes which are living in that habitat. Very friendly to kids. They can learn a lot about the ecosystem. They do suggest the trials and the distance & time to cover it. Add 30 mins to your trip to spend here ☺️

It's the same but better now with all the added security measures that take place. I love it. I will be going back here.

Very beautiful trails that are easy to navigate. The steps to get to the bridge and to the bottom of the gorge are difficult and are not for people with low resistance. There are a few observation points that are easily accessed with no steps.

Great place for a day gateway close to Atl. Most areas are accessible. Bring you own food and picnic pretty much anywhere. But beware there are over 1200 steps in total .
