I don't know anyone could leave a bad review of this place. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the atmosphere is just what we wanted to find for a casual afternoon stop on our way through Tallulah Falls. Extra points for being super dog-friendly! Our sweet server brought my buddy some fresh water and a pup cup too. I know it sounds silly but the chili dog was one of the best I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about this place!

My daughter and I would go there for their catfish. Excellent catfish. Last time, place was closed. I hope it's only temporary. Sometimes the service was slow, but people can only work so fast. Plus, we've never seen the help or owner being rude. Apparently dismissed help holding a grudge. Please post when you'll be opening up again...Parking: Okay...

When I saw a sign that said "fried green tomatoes" I just had to go. The food was beyond outstanding - and they even have a veggie burger on the menu! The service: most excellent. If you pass this place while driving, do yourself a favor and make a u-turn.In the photo: catfish poboy with cinnamon apples, appetizer sampler with fried green tomatoes/onion rings/cheese sticks.

We are camping at Tallulah Gorge State Park and saw these signs on the side if the road for fried tomatoes, homemade hamburgers, BBQ, BBQ Chicken. I love fried tomatoes! Even after going to Walmart in Clayton and going thru the small town, I just had to go get me some fried tomatoes! The appearance of the outside was clean and rustic looking. There were patriotic decore lining the front of the building. Off to thecsidecwas a covered outdoir setting area with a couple of patrons enjoying there food. We enter thru a very pleasant large screen porch. Once we entered into the inside of the restaurant, we were greeted immediately by a very friendly server/hostess. She smiled and said welcome, sit were ever like! We chose to sit at a high top table on the screened porch. She brought us menus and fighting utensils. My husband and I immediately order the fried green tomatoes. They came out quite quickly. The fried tomatoes were golden brown and 🔥. Freshly cooked! She gave us some time to look over the menu. The menu only had two sides and did not over whelm you with a lot of choices. I settled on fried catfish filets with homemade Brunswick stew and salad as my dish. My husband selected angus steak patty with salad and cinnamon apples. Our salads were brought out promptly. The plate was staged to look very appetizing. The salad contained lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bacon bits and croutons. It was very fresh and crisp. Now for the main meal. My catfish filled my plate! I had to let it cool before I could dig into it. I finished off the brunswich stew and buttered rolled. Ibshoukd have gotten me some Brunswick stew to go! The catfish was very good with a nice golden brown crust and white flake inside. I could not eat it all. Now for my husband angus steak patty, it looked a little small but I was amazed because, his words, and he is a very picky food critic. "This is actually good and you can tell the quality of the meat is realy good." After we were done, the server came out to talk to us. They had only been open for 6 weeks and she was the owner. If you are ever in this part of the woods, go visit this place! You will not regret!

Arrived just before 220 on a Sunday, not super busy. And asked where to sit, we were told to seat ourselves and someone would be by. (Screened patio).At 230 my son requested menus and was handed some.At 240 he asked if we could order up front and was told someone would be to our table shortly...It's currently 255 and we still have not had the waitress come over despite her clearing other tables and coming out to the covered patio where 4 or 5 other tables are seated. However she did take the order and serve food to the family that came in after us.Update. Gave up and left.

Personally the best pulled pork BBQ I've had in the state of Georgia in recent memory. Meat was flavorful and is what BBQ should be. You get to choose the sauce to put on it at your table. Also potato salad was among the best I've had as well. Please visit this place if you want a great plate of Q !!!

We wanted to eat local and gave this restaurant a go. It did not disappoint! We were a bit skeptical given some bad reviews, however, we are glad we decided to see for ourselves. Our server was super responsive and kind. Our food was quick, fresh and tasty! We ordered angus beef cheese burgers, Philly cheese steak, and fries with fried pickles as well. The burgers were phenomenal! They also have a great variety of sauces on the tables to customize your food to your liking. I appreciated that because I like to over do my burgers with hot sauce. We would definitely come back!

Food was not good. Salad was disgraceful. The chicken tasted like nothing. Portions are tiny. Desserts were super overpriced. Restrooms leak when it rains. We asked for some empty cups and got more water. My order wasn't put in until everyone else at my table had their food. $63 for 4 meals and an iced tea. Unbelievable.

Fantastic roadside restaurant!We were on our way through Tallulah Falls and needed a place to stretch our legs and grab a snack. Staff was warm and welcoming and the food was fantastic. We had the catfish po'boy & fried green tomatoes, which were both fabulous (not to mention the fries which are pretty great too).I wish we'd had a little more time to spend (both to enjoy the indoor / outdoor seating and to see the whole area, which seems great!), but this was a happy stop to find on our way through!

This is the worst place I have ever eaten. Sign says Bar B Que the only Bar B Que on the entire menu was a pulled pork sandwich. Food way over priced for what you get. $17 dollars for I piece of catfish and no hush puppies. Coleslaw taste like straight mayonnaise. Only 1 chicken tender comes with tender meal. Had to ask for utensils, napkins, barbecue sauce.

The waitress was really nice. However. The whole experience was really Odd. We were told up front the kitchen was slow Sunday 9/4. We're patient people to a point. The appetizers came out about 30 minutes after we ordered them. Still not a big deal. We were told at least 4 times they were working on our order. We were feeding 5 adults. One hot dog appeared and were told yet again they were working on the rest. Patience wearing thin I walked to the front of the restaurant and asked about our food. They found our order in boxes behind the counter made to go but it's a mystery why it took 2 hours to figure it out and why the one mystery hot dog if the order had been put in to go by accident? Don't bother unless you have 3 hours to kill. And Even with a "discount" the bill was $96.

Don’t stop. Good way overpriced . Low quality. Chicken fingers were rubber, nice young girl waiting on us was nice. Tourist trap for sure. Keep your money in your wallet. Coffee shop across the street was extremely good. Yummy desserts and fantastic coffee .

Went here while vacationing with my wife. Keep in mind my wife and I are both nurses, so we know what's clean and what's not. This place was filthy and overpriced. I don't even want to think about how the kitchen may look. I'm a catfish fan, so when I saw the advertisement for fresh catfish we took a chance. $17 dollars for one piece of catfish that was literally tasteless! I didn't finish and just left. Restaurants are hit and miss nowadays, this place is a big miss. The server was a nice guy, that's the only bonus. Please notice all the reviews on google and how the owner blames the reviewer and doesn't apologize or try to bring business back. This place and its owner are a joke.UPDATE!! This owner is crazy, now she is saying I give only bad reviews. My reviews are typically 4-5 stars. We left the state park a decent review due to road noise in the campsite (it was great otherwise), and now she states we said they were awful. Every place we visited in Tallulah Falls was wonderful with the exception of this restaurant. This lady is crazy. She is literally going out of her way to stalk our reviews and comment on them in this review post. Take the bad rating, improve your business, and move on lady. Keep it up and ill report your responses as harassment to google.

I would do 5 stars but I'm kinda weird. I don't believe perfection is possible and that is what 5 stars represent. However the experience my family and I had at main Street bbq and grill was truly PHENOMENAL!! The BBQ was so tender that when we bit into our pulled pork sandwiches it was clean bites the whole time. Not once did I bite and pull meat out of our sandwiches. And the flavor!! Chefs kiss!! I chose to use their hot bbq sauce and the mustard base bbq sauce. So delicious! We also ordered the sample appetizer with fried green tomatoes, onion rings, and fried pickles. All where fried to perfection with exuberant flavor! Even my sons "kids meal" hot dog had the delicious grilled to perfection flavor!! Now as good as the Brunswick stew was I have had better, in my opinion. The service....WAS GREAT TOO!! haha...very friendly and attentive. Kept my cup full and fixed me one to go without request. We truly couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I look forward to trying the "fresh catfish" on our next visit.Parking: Easy to get in and out of.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was extremely kind to my son and he enjoyed his kids meal.

We were visiting the state park nearby for our wedding anniversary & saw several signs along the road for this restaurant. Our first clue that this wasn't a good restaurant should have been that there were no other patrons there. Food was horrible & extremely overpriced. Restaurant was filthy too despite it being their "first day back open". My drink glass was covered in dried, crusty food splatters. The condiment bottles on the table were filthy & disgusting. My husband ordered the catfish dinner for $17 & was brought 1 piece & a side. The "catfish" didn't even taste like catfish. I ordered the Philly steak & cheese sandwich with fries. 2 dinners & 2 drinks was almost $50 including tax & tip. Absolutely not worth it. We should've read reviews before we went to this place. Our server was a very nice young man & professional though that is the only positive thing I can say. I would steer clear of this place.

Never been before, stopped by on a road trip. Appeared to be a nice local stop, was not impressed. Restaurant had one other table seated when we arrived. Sat down and waited for about 5 minutes, no server came to us, had to find someone. When we did get served, young man from the back was sloppily dressed, had no manners, was wearing large headphones and offered no engagement with us. Most constructed thing he said was when we walked by….not stopped, but passed, dropped bill on the table and as he walked away only said “just pay inside when you’re done”.Was excited to see Fried Green Tomatoes, was not impressed. For what I paid, I would’ve expected more than a few thinly sliced pieces dipped in a thin batter. Rest of meal was just as underwhelming….pulled pork was average, apple sauce was literally a cup like I put in my kids lunch. 2 entrees, tomatoes, a fountain drink and water for $50?! Way over priced, and very much not worth it.I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but until this place changes, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Came in to eat with our family and was told to eat outside. The tables and chairs were not cleaned off so we decided to take our food to go. Took approximately about 30 min and that’s giving them some grace. Got our food went down the road and found out the portions were surprisingly small considering the price of the items. We get that food cost has went up however it was a small amount. The fried green tomatoes thank goodness was fresh but lacked in flavor maybe throw a dab of salt in the mix.The chicken salad was left to be desired and lacked in chicken. The salad consisted of a ton of lettuce and tomatoes and a itty bitty scoop of chickenless salad. The pork sandwich was fair however was small for the price that was paid. Bathrooms…. just don’t use them if you’re visiting. After dodging the bees and the doomsday decor and watered down soap it all made sense why the establishment and food lacked. If you’re on a road trip take 5-10 mins past the restaurant and you’ll be in town to order from a clean establishment with other food options.I also looking forward to the choices the owner will make and not berate me for a honest review.

Should have listened to the other reviews online. Friendly enough staff, but that is the biggest positive. Not only did the taste of the food and their portion sizes leave much to be desired (kid’s burger= 1 tiny slider and bagged chips for $9!), but they charged extra on each item we ordered when we paid, which I didn’t realize until my receipt came through to my email. Then they charged 14% tax on top of the outrageous menu prices and had their lowest tip default option set to 20%. I rarely leave poor reviews, but this place deserves it. Will not return.

We were disappointed in the quality of the food for the prices. The catfish was good- if you do eat here, pick the catfish. Note- if you call in an order - even if you order by individual family (of 4) they add an automatic 25% gratuity. They don’t tell you this, and don’t offer a receipt until after you’ve paid, so you won’t know unless you ask. There is simply no reason to charge a 25% gratuity on take-out. If you do a nice job, a tip is something that someone offers as a thank-you in appreciation for your efforts and kindness. Furthermore, if you are in the business of automatic gratuity, it would be best practice to have employees who are friendly, kind, and welcoming- who seem to care how your experience with their place of business goes. Also, check your order before you leave if you call it in to ensure all items ordered are included.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! I never leave reviews, but this place is not it! If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT EAT HERE. Very little portion food for such high prices. The owner was very rude, we tried to communicate our concerns and she would just laugh. And on top of that they are do not treat there staff fair. Because of ONE mistake, our waitress was not allowed to get anymore tables. Our waitress was AMAZING. Super kind, and very attentive. So sad to see the way she was treated. To top that off, servers live off of tips and the owner keeps the tips that are left on card. STAY AWAY FROM THE PLEASE.

AVOID AT ALL COST. We literally order a pull pork sandwich and a kids burger. The burger was a frozen patty cut in half. Fried green tomatoes tasted like they were cooked with their catfish. Our server hasn’t been to our table but once. We had to ask for utensils and never asked if we wanted refills on drinks. Poor excuse of a restaurant!
