The young men and women that work there are really nice. The selection is pretty good and the store is clean. The prices are a lil high and we've had problems with the meat that we buy there. We have bought beef, chicken, and pork chops at different times that have gone bad several days before the packaging label says it should be good until. This has happened three or four times, so we no longer buy meat there.

This grocery store is everything you'd expect from a small town in the south with friendly customer service and hospitality, carrying a decent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole and ground meats, and hot homestyle country lunch and dinner fixin's prepared daily by the wonderful ladies in the deli, from meatloaf to butterfly shrimp, collard greens to mashed taters, and made from scratch desserts like peach cobbler and banana pudding! You'll always be welcomed warmly here, so come on by and say hello to the friendly folks of Piggly Wiggly!

As residents of Washington State, we had only heard of Piggles Wiggles through movies. So, we decided to take a detour from the Interstate to see it for ourselves. Upon arrival, the employees may have noticed our curious expressions as we looked around.

This place is amazing. My family and I moved to TALLAPOOSA last May. We had only been to this location once before but knew instantly we wanted to live out here. Every clerk in the store is friendly and welcoming, especially "Crimson" she's always greeted me and my kids and asked how our day was going. Highly recommended small town grocery store.

Sometimes it's a little stuffy. Some of the people employed there are so humble asks so attentive, while others act as if it's just their duty to be there for customers. As a whole, for a small town grocery store, it's a nice sized place with a good variety, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I'd like to see a little more attentiveness when walking about the store. Treat all people as equals, it just beems happiness 😊

Always friendly and helpful workers. Keep up the great jobs y'all do. Plus, they have absolutely the very best homemade banana pudding, I have ever eaten, over in the deli. Gotta get there early to get some bc it sells out fast.

The produce person was a real friendly the lady putting out the meat was real nice and somebody put $12 on my bill which was really nice overall a good experience since I'm on the verge losing everything with theft but I got a roof over my head and no food in my belly I'm in Bremen and they're in Tallapoosa and I can't walk there from here but they were really nice thank you for the experience from Gateway Inn room 103

It's a little pricey but hey what isn't these days . My wife shops there for most of the food we eat. Overall we've had a great experience and everyone is very nice. I do wish they had some of the more special items. Like seafood and a larger meat dept.. But all that said it's probably best just the way it is . I will continue to buy most all our groceries there.

The best groceries anywhere. The management is the truly amazing. They work hard to make sure what you want and need is on the shelves. They have an app that's rewarding... I do wish Corp would do better but there seems to be time for that. You're not going to get better meat... period. For the price the produce is great and it's right in town. Shopping here means you supporting your home town as well. Love yall

I no longer live close to the Pig, but I still enjoy going there. Prices are hit, and miss, but the people are very polite and friendly. Credit for that goes to the manager, and district manager. The DM puts all he has in it all the time. I'm not saying that the manager doesn't because I has seen first hand his hard work. Thanks to the whole staff at the Pig in Tallapoosa.

Like to know how this location profit was 7.5 million last year but can can't pay the employees better aND for Christmas they gave out 50 dollar gift card to a place 40 miles away in Douglasville said we was lucky to get that I have worked in few store like Kroger food depot Winn-Dixie the always paid a extra check this place is like a prison so many rules and the management treats every like little school kids there are cams every where the pay .99 cents for case of velveta and charge 8 a block it's time for people to stand up and change this system we are getting ripped off I will write this review and give you 30 days to make changes if you do not make changes I will start posting signs out front of your door and I will start boycotting and then there will be picket lines but timefor the grocery industry to change people are getting severely ripped off

Without fail the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I try to give them as much business as I can and I’ve found that they have items that some of the big stores do not have. Most days I would do anything to keep from driving forever to get my groceries and this store keeps me from having to. Also FYI they have the best cuts of meat then any other store . If you don’t see what you want the butcher will make sure to get it for you . Walmart , Publix and Ingles got nothing on this store.

The deli food is wonderful. The broccoli slaw is my favorite and they hand make it with fresh ingredients! They are creative with their dishes and the food has great flavor. The meat department and the grocery department stay well stocked. They have a lot of healthy choices. Everyone is friendly willing to help.

Very clean and orderly. They have good sales but what we drive there for is the Red Diamond Coffee beans. There is an automatic coffee bean grinder there so we can grind it for our Percolator! The fresh ground coffee smells and tastes incredibly good.The staff at this Piggly Wiggly are knowledgeable, helpful and polite.

The Pig in Tallapoosa is the best, most relaxing grocery store experience in the state of Georgia, and a staple of the simpler living you can have in our small town. In addition to the great selection of meat and produce, I also have to praise the store's excellent staff. I wasn't fully appreciative of just how great the folks are that work there until I dropped a container of taco sauce today, cutting my hand and making a mess near the meat counter. The butcher on staff was quick to offer me a clean rag for my hands, while a cool young man in a Hawaiian shirt- as mellow as could be- was on site in a pinch with a mop, and a young clerk and I were able to keep the mess from spreading. Any other store, any other place, and my embarrassment would've been amplified ten-fold by justifiably disgruntled staff, or no one at all. I also have to praise the bakery, and the always delightful Mrs. Renee. If I didn't already live here, I'd be driving out of my way to shop at the Pig in Tallapoosa.

The prices here are so high I only go there to get meats and cases of cokes. EVERYTHING ELSE THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS. HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER STORE I'VE EVER SHOPPED AT. INCLUDING INGLES, KROGER, PUBLIX, ETC... They definitely need some competition. Can charge whatever they want because they are the ONLY grocery store in town

While they don't always have everything a big box store carries, they seem to have what the big box stores don't. My no longer stocked cereal is here. The PW homemade vanilla ice cream is better than name brand for floats. The cake is delicious. It's a down home country store and I love it because the employees are still friendly.

Every time I go there they're always fast, super helpful, have great deals, and kind beyond words. This store has been such a blessing!! Thanks to the employees they really make a difference!! Also the meat selction and the Piggly Wiggly brand bread is best around!!

Very courteous staff! Reasonable/competitive prices. Well stocked and easy to locate items if you are from out of town. Always love the music they play while I am shopping.
