This park was a nice surprise. We stopped here on a cold but sunny day and it was well worth it. There’s a small playground next to a beautiful creek. The creek is shallow enough for small kids to wade in. The bank is flat enough that you could easily walk into the creek from pretty much anywhere along the length of the creek. It was too cold today but i would imagine it’s nice during the summer. There’s a large open field to toss a football or frisbee. There’s also a pavilion with a couple of restrooms. There are several picnic tables with grills along the creek if you want to make a day out of it.

Nice little quiet park next to a beautiful creek. Giving it four stars because the paved walking trail was very short (about 1/2 mile or less).

Great area to enjoy your time with the family or friends. There is bathroom, areas to eat and areas to play.

We love going here. The creek is always crystal clear and cold. The playground needs se work bc the slides are too high off the ground. Other than that this place is awesome.

Lovely park next to a creek and train tracks. Nice playground for children and a little walking path too. You have to reserve the Pavilion for parties.

Wonderful park for a peaceful pitstop, way better than the Scenic Overlook on 515! Three long picnic tables under the pavilion, which can be reserved for 10+ parties and weddings and men's and women's restrooms (soap was out, and hand dryers broken) and four picnic tables in the wooded area near the playground and stream, with covered trash bins.

This park is awesome! It's clean, quiet, beautiful and fun! They have a play area and set for kids, lots of picnic tables, grills, a swing by the river, a walking path and even a pavilion with more picnic tables in it and room you can rent for your events! I definitely recommend you visit this park.

Small town with a beautiful park along side the creek. I recently attended Heritage Days and it was well worth my trip from Atlanta. The people were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The local antique shops are well stocked with unique finds. The public restrooms were new and very well maintained

The best little park. I always bring my dogs here because they love to get in the creek and play. Play set for kids and multiple sitting areas with picnic tables.

Really cute little park tucked away between the rail road track and a creek. We saw lots of families together. The Pavillion was taken with a large birthday party. The water was fun for the kids to wade in. The only negatives for us are that there was very limited parking. There was also still some construction happening so it's not fully accessible.

Not as many shops as a couple of years ago. There was a festival going on which helped town be more interesting.

This is a great little park with a large field and a running creek. A train came by while we were there.

Went here for a quick few hours with my 2-year-old. It was perfect to just sit on the swinging benches by the playground while my son ran around. It's so peaceful with the creek running alongside it. We both had fun. It was more nature-oriented than playground-equipped, but that's all we needed. My son played more with the rocks, leaves, and dirt than the slide or the swings--exactly what we needed!Playground: The playground has a few different swings and slides, and is pretty basic, but all we really needed! Personally, I loved that my son could run around and the benches around the playground all swingRestrooms: The bathrooms were stocked with soap and toilet paper and were clean considering they are located at a public parkPicnic area: Plenty of picnic benches under the trees and alongside the creek. Perfect for a little picnic

Beautiful place. Grew up near here. The town itself is growing a nice tourist industry from scratch and has a train/bar that they want to add a restaurant to. Which means another car on the train that remains stationary. They have outdoor horseshoes, a fire pit, and live music. Give it a try.

We love it here! Good mix between spots in the shade and sun. Nice pavilion. The creek is a refreshing spot to wade in on the hotter days. Pretty fall views for walks. The kids have fun on the playground and us moms enjoy the peaceful spots to sit and relax close by.

This park was fun. We played in the creek. Listen to the water rush over the rocks. Played with friends and enjoyed a hot summer after. The swings were a nice touch.
