This is the best little brewery in Georgia. Just a great place to hang out in a small town. They have amazing beers. They aren’t all IPA or super Hoppy. They have a great variety. You go inside the train car where they brew their beer and order. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They are also pet and family friendly. Their prices are also really good. I like their steam engine seltzer!

Every beer we tried was well balanced and delicious. There’s a large outdoors area with plenty of shade. It’s very dog friendly!

Stopped by for a flight of their beer. It was very good. Good size pours and wonderful flavor. The brewery is inside an old train car, which is very cool.

Our first time here. We had driven up from Atlanta to Amicalola Falls and came here after. Very cool train motif. Large patio. Super nice folks and some very tasty beers with very creative names. There's a Tavern going in next door and there are some neat antique stores across the street. The whole area looks to be in development in a good way. If you're up in this area, we definitely recommend you give them a try.

Great selection of 8 tasty beers, even including a few lagers. The kolsch was our favorite, however the hoppy lager, Vienna lager, pale ale & blonde were all well above average. Excellent atmosphere, Located in an restored railroad passenger car in quaint downtown Talking Rock. Covered outdoor seating with nesting barn swallows and available corn hole. If you like Blue Ridge without the 10,000 tourist, make this a stop… only a few miles off GA-515.

Stopped by and bought a seltzer and the Caboose Red. Loved them both! Cool little place to hang out too. No place to eat nearby so bring a snack.

Good place to stop on a road trip. Selection of several beers and a food truck was parked next door. Stop and relax a few minutes on your drive thru the Ga mountains.

Definitely one of the best breweries in the area in terms of beer quality. Bonus points for being in a dang train!

Place had a really quaint and cute atmosphere when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Only a few parties came in while we were there for about two hours. The inside was nice and warm but they have heaters outside in the enclosed patio for when the weather turns. They offer some crisps, pretzels, and jerky for nibbles but other than that, it's exclusively beer. Having it in a rail car makes it stand out especially in this secluded part of North Georgia. My husband is British and there just so happened to be 3 other Brits there at the same time! How we all ended up there on New Year's Day I have no idea. I deducted a star because the beers weren't as appealing. However, they seem to change their offering somewhat regularly so I wouldn't mind coming back. Kids were also there so I think it's kid friendly so long as you're watching since it is close to the road.

We were driving through this cute little town when we saw a bunch of people sitting under an awning, listening to some live music, next to this retired train. We had no idea what it was but it piqued our interest so we stopped to check it out. We were sure we were about to crash some kind of family reunion. We stepped into the train car and discovered it was this little brewery. I love beer, so I couldn’t resist. I wanted to try a few, so I got a flight. Believe it or not, I have accidentally stumbled upon breweries before, so my expectations were not very high.Listen friends. I was pleasantly surprised. Every beer they make is delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Pub Ale and the Kolsch, but I genuinely enjoyed all of them. It’s little brewery in a teeny tiny town but it has a big personality and was worth the impromptu pit stop.If you’re ever rolling through this town, you have to check it out. Five stars. All the way.

Really cool spot! Great place to start or end your day in the North Georgia mountains. Dogs are allowed, and, the drink selection ain't shabby at all. Highly recommended!

It’s a nice atmosphere. Relaxing and some music. The town lacks a restaurant. A food tent or a food truck just doesn’t cut it. Not much in Talking Rock and it isn’t the fault of brewery. But, this place is probably the only reason to go there so if you are into local brew, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. It’s very nice and the Owners are good and personable people.

Beautiful day for a beer flight! Cute setup in a converted train and the beer is great. They even have a food truck setup nearby!

We are “tourist” and come to Jasper (Big Canoe) area several times a year. This was our first time visiting The Talking Rock Brewery. Hands down the best customer service at any brewery we have been to! Even their other customers were awesome and welcoming. Beer choices were great and the local food truck (Joe’s Lone Star Tacos) was seriously delicious! We brought our kids, ages 10 and 12, and they had a blast with the free old school arcade game and outside yard games. There is also some really nice and reasonable antique shops directly across the street that you can sip and stroll through. We will definitely be back.

Great beer! This is a fun destination type place. We ended up sitting in the train because all of the outside seats were taken. I think a restaurant is going in next (uhhh, rail car). Can't wait to go back. They also had some live music

We visit Georgia breweries frequently and drive through this area every month, and fortunately today we took the short side road to this great brewery. I had two excellent ales and enjoyed some great conversation with some fellow patrons and the owner. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We love this new hangout in Talking Rock Ga! We enjoy hanging out on the outside pavilion. I hope the owners are thinking about installing some type of fans or mist system as it is already getting extremely hot outside this summer.. We love this brewery, the atmosphere, service and beer is A++!
