Their vendor delivery service at the Johns Creek Home Depot is deplorable!!! On April 1st, a vanity was left at the bottom of our driveway, and NO phone call was made letting my contractor know!! Because of their ineptitude, that vanity got rained on (several times), and it took them 13 days to come and take it back! Then, after the diligence of my contractor AND showing prior pictures to the management of Home Depot, they assured him this wouldn't happen?!! However, yet again, the vendor delivery service failed, AGAIN, and delivered the replacement vanity in the same place!!! I can not begin to explain how frustrating this process has been! I'm grateful my contractor was able to place a tarp over this recent delivery and "supposedly" Home Depot is going to come and get the vanity moved up to the house tomorrow (which is where it should have been delivered, in the beginning!)!! Surprise, surprise, my contractor called and they will NOT be coming to move the vanity until Monday??!!This has been completely unacceptable!

Very very unhappy with Home Depot on this so called TUNE UP offer. Their people did NO tune up on HVAC. Instead this is an opportunity for Home Depot to sell a new HVAC and provide some finance options !!!! Shame on you for fooling your customers

Monday morning and there's only one self checkout open and now that they have to check you out personally the line was way too long. Also the whole store only has six of the stand-up lumber carts you cannot put PVC pipe on flat carts. It just won't work. It ends up on the floor. Heading to Lowe's to buy 100 ft of 3-in PVC. Very inconvenient but they have lots of stand-up lumber carts. The management needs to know these problems are affecting their bottom line.

As a former stocker, dumping the pallets off the truck into the customer area with 3 hours left till close is pretty dumb. Maybe management needs to remind them how much sales are generated on a weekend vs weekdays and adjust unloading procedures accordingly or does a secret shopper need to come by first to lawn and garden and affect bonuses?

This really used to be one of my favorite places to go for DIY Home Improvement projects but due to staff shortages; it is truly not what it once was. When I visited a few days ago, I could not find anyone to help me locate what I needed. I walked through the entire store in search of someone who could assist me and I was only able to find, Two new employees who told me; they only work in other departments and could not help me because they were too busy. I could not even walk down some aisles because they were blocked by pallets of items that needed to be placed on shelves. When I finally located one very friendly Sales Associate, he told me, most Sales Associates had already left for the day or quit and that I should download the phone app to be able to find, whatever I was in need ofš¤·. Home Depot has truly turned into a DIY for customer service.

Getting heavy timbers 6x6x12 ft. And nobody wants to help. A guy named Steve said, " we are not a landscape supplier that will load that timber. Get a cart and load it up by yourself." I talked to a manager.. forgot her name. But she was so nice and friendly talking to me, and right away, she talked to another guy to meet me and load it up. That is the only reason I am giving 3 starts. She did it so nice and friendly that it made me think to keep buying on this Home Depot. Appreciate your help. To the manager. Just got her name... The staff were awesome. The new computer system gave so many problems that the manager gave us a discount on our over $5000 purchase. Because of their determination, friendliness and kindness I will shop here for my next project.

This particular Home Depot is the closest to my home. I was there today returning a leaf blower and wanted to purchase a more powerful blower. The HD app indicated they had qty one in stock but āSee Associateā. That sometimes means the inventory system says they have one but they donāt know where it is. š The store manager, Sarah, happened to be at the Return desk and offered to help me. Sarah was absolutely delightful and engaging. She was just a joy.

Ridiculously slow service. I bought some lumber and was told someone would be out to chop it for me in the next few minutes. 20 minutes pass and nobody came even after repeatedly asking for help. And it was 6pm too so I'm not sure why they were so short staffed. Most employees are friendly but little experiences like these over the years has just ruined this store for me. Oh, and it only has two open checkout counters for the entire store. Go to the Lowe's a mile away!

Well on a Wednesday morning you have to wait 10 minutes and still no one to assist. How do they do business during rush or on weekends. Ask one employee is there anyone here she replies with attitude I have two other customers before you! I said Iām sorry. She said OK. I am still here awaiting. may not wait too long and go down the street to another place I know itās only about half a mile down the street. After additional wait I ask the lady and she told me you have to wait like everybody ells. Itās almost 15 minutes and I was walking out and see Billy the manager he walked me back and and he was very apologetic. I know and see the issue here. What they need is cross trainings. These several people at the counter and extra people just standing and chit chatting can assist when there is a need for it. This is and should be a mandatory business practice.Are you ready! Now the punch line, once Billy walked me back there the lady was at the counter mixing the paint and said oh I am still helping another customer, what do you need? I told her that I have a small piece of dry wall with a paint and I need a gallon paint. She said āour paint matching machine is out of orderā. Guys she could have save my precious 1/2 hour if she had just done this on the first interaction!!! What I see is missing proper training of employees and more importantly cross training of employees just in case this lady drop out due to stress. I found out that she is actually a manager at the paint department.

The self service checkout lanes seems to frequently have some kind of electronic glitch. Scanners donāt work, card reader error, gift card wont work, etc. And God forbid you buy some WD-40 or a can of spray paintā¦Someone has to come check your ID anywayā¦What happened to having three or four normal lanes open where you work with a trained cashier, and their point of sale equipment actually worked? This place ššš

Really clean, and for the most part the middle age to older employ. Are helpful but I felt like I was being watched the whole time. And as for the youngstuhs that r rockin the orange apron with Van's kicks and some 80s or 90s band T that have been off the map their whole lives, don't even bother with them. If you pull that dolly from under their elbows they r goin down for the count...

My favorite store of all time. I go here almost everyday. They have what you need. Here's a little tip - Don't say you're going to 'blow up' or 'destroy' the bathroom out loud, because an employee might take you literally and call the swat team. Just drop your deuce and get moving. My experience is typically very good, but recently I had difficulty getting help when purchasing almost 100 pavers in terms of easy loading into my truck. The garden center staff was not very helpful.

I used to enjoy shopping at this location, but a recent encounter with one of their employees was very unpleasant. I tried to purchase a power tool, and this particular employee flat-out told me that he clould not unlock it (fair as not everyone may know the code for padlocks on power tool cage doors), but then he proceeded to tell me that no one would be willing to help me get it unlocked since they would be closing soon! I realize that being within 10 minutes until closing time, it's not necessarily what they want to do, and they want to go home. However, when there are still customers in the store BEFORE CLOSING TIME that want to make a simple purchase at the self check-out and be out of there before they even lock the doors, I don't see why he couldn't get an employee working in the tool department to unlock it for me! Unfortunately, they lost my business that evening. As someone who works in an enivroment dealing with direct customer interaction, I can't imagine how someone would feel if I told him or her that I, or anyone else working would be unwilling to help solve his or her issues because we would be closing in 6 minutes!

Went to get my key copied so I walk up to the guy that was copying multiple keys for a white male and the customer was kind enough to allow me to get my key copied in the middle of his order. When the home depot employee looked back at me all of a sudden he can no longer make key copies because āit wasnāt his stationā. He walked away after he finished with the first guy and said heāll find someone to help me and went to talk to a different customer for a few seconds and wondered off. I turn around looking for another person that worked there, I saw a guy near the checkout area and I politely asked if they can call someone for assistance. He said āno go to customer serviceā I walk over to customer service and stand their for 10 minutes before someone calls me up and finally they make a call on the PA system that I need help at the key station. I go back and stand there for another 10 minutes just for the same guy that was at the station in the beginning to turn the corner look at me, walk past me and say someone will come help you. After waiting around for another 10 minutes and a second call for assistance the same guy comes back and finally does his job and makes my key. If I wanted to get terrible service I would have gone to Walmart at least I would of felt racially welcome there. You guys need to do better and hire the right people!

I hate bad reviews and it takes a lot for me to give one. At Brookwood at 8am, 15 1*4 + some other items. Then to paint dept, no one around so waited to have some paint mixed. Ask two associates walking by, said they would call. 10 min later I called paint dept on phone, rang long time no one picked up. Back to operator, they announced paint needed help, by now 4 folks in line. 10 min later called again, waited 10-12 min again then everyone left. Left paint on counter had to use self checkout ( no big deal) for lumber then left headed for Sherwin Willams around corner. Normally this is a good place, must be having a bad day.

I always have a good experience when I come here. Everyone wants to help you find what you need, and they donāt rush you with it. Obviously they have incredible selections with great prices. Definitely will continue comin here for a long time.

This place has really turned for worse. Hopeless service. Very rude lately. The night before Thanksgiving this year, I saw an associate making fun of a customer at the paint desk. His attitude seemed like his holiday had already started even while at work. I still approached him with my requirements. He took them, looked as if he was going to mix the paint. But when I returned a few min later after picking up some supplies from the aisles he had gone absconding. The front desk paged for him a few times in vain. Finally, I gave up and left for the Lowes which is just down the street and am happy to say received a fantastic service there.Have had rough experiences with paint and other departments at this Home Depot before also. So, I have changed by my default go to store to that Lowes down the street and I come to this place only if I cannot find the item elsewhere and if I do not have to take customer service (or the lack thereof).
