Absolutely amazing- this place is a must-stop if you’re in the area. It’s the perfect place to take a break from fishing or driving and have a delicious bbq sandwich or get some local tips for the area. The family that owns it is so friendly and helpful, we felt right at home. I love giving my business to places like this

My husband and I come to North Georgia yearly (sometimes with our daughter). We always make a point to visit Coopers Creek Store. It has been handy to pick up fishing supplies and other needed items. We always eat lunch there at least once during our stay because the food is always good. One reviewer said the staff is hateful, and that could not be further from the truth. The ladies who work there are extremely friendly.

The new owners have turned this store around into a great supply shop with a variety of amazing home made breakfast and lunch food to compliment! Top notch Fly fishing guidence and services availble from one of the owners Jeff Odem, he can put you on the right spots or take you out on one of his boats. Side note, they provided outstanding support by extending hours for a large mountain bike race (TNGA) that passed by the shop and going above and beyond to ensure rider safety and comfort. Feels like family at Coopers Creek Store Thank you!!

On a anniversary trip to North Georgia we stopped at Cooper Creek for lunch because it was the closest place to our cabin and we live off the beaten path places. We both had BBQ with the spicy vinegar sauce and we shared baked beans. BBQ was very tender and had good flavor but the beans were AMAZING! The flavor was very surprising. Also a neat store to wander around while waiting on our food to be prepared.

We camped at cooper’s creek a lot and stop at this awesome store every time we go! The service is great and the food is amazing! I’ve tried almost everything and I’ve never been disappointed. The baked beans and BBQ sandwich are must try’s! They have a great selection of camping, fishing and everyday essentials plus amazing peach and apple fried pies. So worth the drive!

Simple Corner store and Terrific little spot to pick up breakfast or a barbecue sandwich, coleslaw, and beans, and hash brown casserole. Kitchen is one man show and he is killing it. Great pork sandwiches and corn beef brisket sandwich. Terrific people running the place. We ate out front of the place on the picnic tables. Thank you for a great local experience in the gauntlet.

Stopped here during a pre-ride of the TNGA route. The staff was welcoming and took very good care of us. The restaurant area had closed shortly before we arrived, but they made sure we were fed. The store was well stocked with just about everything you might want. Overall, highly recommended and I look forward to an opportunity to return.

What an incredible oasis on one of America's most scenic highways! The people there are super and the BBQ, mountain beans and cole slaw were out of this world - among the best I've had anywhere. I had the pork and my wife the brisket. It was so good, we purchased more to take home. This is a must stop. We'll take this scenic route just to make this stop. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Tube the Toccoa! This won't be like your bumper-to-bumper tube experience in Helen -- expect a more low-key float, and no-frills rental experience. Roger or Diane will get you sorted out and give you a lift if you need to shuttle a vehicle. Grab some drinks and snacks at Coopers before you leave. The best float is simply from behind Coopers Creek Store down to Deep Hole Campground -- a ~1.5 hour float, down Coopers Creek and then it joins up with the Toccoa. It's easy to drop a car at Deep Hole ($5 day pass) -- head west on 60 and it's about a mile on the left.If you are adventurous and have all day, you can tube from Deep Hole to the Swinging Bridge (or from Swinging Bridge to Van Zandt's) in 4-5 hours. Much of this stretch winds through pure national forest so be aware there are no take-outs until you reach the bridge. (But there are take-outs along route 5 for the Swinging Bridge to Van Zandt's route). For Swinging Bridge, shuttle a car to the very end of route 816 (a long 3 miles -- fire road / 10-15 mph). From 816 to the swinging bridge, it's a few hundred yards more on the fire road until it joins MacKaye Trail down to the falls. Swinging Bridge is also a great mini-hike and point of interest for shuttle drivers.

Great food. They help us as we were lost because GPS does not work in this area. They gave us directions to the secret falls. That was a lot of fun but the trail is wet but the kids loved the falls. The people at the store were wonderful

The people here are extremely friendly. The lady even looked up the weather for me when I didnt have cell service. I have been here numerous times. They have some good food too. They will even talk to you about trout fishing. The firewood I bought was oak seasoned and burned good.

Stop into Coopers Creek Store and ask how to get to Sea Creek falls. This is a beautiful falls off the beaten path that we would have never found without help from the owner in the store.I also stocked up on homemade soap and homemade lip balm while I was there. Owner was super friendly. Looks like they also had camping and fishing supplies as well.

This store is a great supporter of all the riders that participate in the TNGA endurance mtn bike race. They are beyond virtuous and kind and also track the riders as they come in. The food is awesome as are the people. Don’t forget to grab a fried pie. Thanks for your support of all the tired riders. The Kid.
