EVERY time I shop at McKeithen True Value, I received premium customer service. No matter what materials or equipment im needing for my company, they always come through with quality. A great store owner and management goes a long way, and this store has exactly that! The second I walk into the store, I am greeted with a smile and an offer of assistance with finding anything. Zach Nesmith in particular has been a HUGE help in our landscape maintenance equipment purchases. These reasons stated above are why I choose to shop here over other hardware stores.(Stihl Chainsaw, Trimmer, and Pole Saw shown in photos are a few of our purchases that we couldn't be more satisfied with)

The ladies at the front helped me so much renting a UHaul. They were very professional and took time out to answer all my questions. They are wonderful. I will gladly return here if I ever need a UHaul truck in the future.

My beautiful black people don’t come here at all. Rented out a u-haul and was charged 13 extra dollars saying we brought the truck back late. When in reality we did by 40 mins early. Then we called the next day and they said they fixed it, but now it says 20 more dollars on the receipt. Just be careful coming here.

Prices where high and didn't have alit in stock. Items True Value was known for have to now be ordered and wait for it to come in. Makes trip to useless cause we all have computers and can order ourselves

My go to hardware store! This place has everything you need to get your projects done. The stores location and setup makes it easy to get what you need and get on your way unlike the big chain stores. Thomas and his staff are very knowledgeable and have always been super friendly and helpful. Plus it’s locally owned and operated!

I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed any help. I went straight to what I was there for and when I was ready to check out there was no waiting in line. I really don’t mind paying a few more $ for the no hassle and wide variety of quality products. I wish that they were on HWY 80 SOUTH.

We had some issues with the Uhaul rental and the family owned hardware store was incredibly helpful even though our issues were with Uhaul. They were not just incredibly helpful but went the extra mile when they didn't have to. Even though this is a big box store you can tell it's a family owned and operated branch even if you're just browsing the aisles to waste time, someone will pop by to check in to see how they can help. They go above and beyond with customer service even when they're incredibly busy as a Uhaul pick up and drop of location.

Very impressed with this hardware store! We needed some very specific tools for removing a broken bolt and McKeithen's had everything we needed (plus several items Lowe's didn't carry). The staff were SO helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Had to rent a UHaul trailer this weekend and McKeithen's was the first to come to mind - they have a large selection of trailer and truck sizes on site. Really easy process and very helpful staff made sure I had the right power converter for my vehicle - they even hooked it up and disconnected it for me. Great service! The only problem was that the awesome selection of grilling accessories caught my eye too...

Excellent store with great staff that make it easy to get in and out with what you need. Bought a power washer and it has been the best I have ever owned. Highly recommend shopping here and supporting local business owners that will make sure you are well taken care of.

If you rent a Uhaul from this place, definitely take photos of your gas levels, and keep your contract. Rented a truck for 15 miles and was charged a $60.00 gas fee. Worst customer service when called locally to inquire, had to get this handled with Uhaul. The point was the truck was returned with more gas than when rented. But when the truck was returned was told you're good to go. Later on, my receipt was emailed with the $60.00 charge. So something was entered on their computer after I left.

Seems like I am at True Value at least once a week if not more often. I prefer the quality of products over Lowes and like to support the non big box stores here in town. Tom, Thomas and the entire staff are very friendly and always asking to help. I would give a ten star rating if could. Robert M.

I was very excited when I saw that True Value was opening off of 67, right on my drive home. After stopping in and picking a few things up I was very pleased with the service and selection. However after many trips pulling in, just to see that the store was closed, I have had to stop thinking of it as an option because it is never open during the hours I have needed it. I work long days and 8am-6pm generally leaves me not able to make it in the morning or evening. Then during the weekend I swung by again to see that it was closed. So that stinks, but what really irked me was yesterday, during Fair week I got thru the crazy traffic, because I believed the store was open until 7pm now, based on their hours from their Google Business Info. Well, they were again closed and the store hours on the store front listed that the store was only open until 6pm. I would love to use this hardware store, however because of the limited hours I may as well forget it.

I called a few weeks before my U-haul reservation to confirm it and make sure it would be available. Mckeithen promised it would be there. They further stated it would not be rented the day before to make sure it was available. Now, the day before my reservation, I get a call from U-haul stating it's not available. I call Mckeithen and they have no record of me (even though I confirmed it.) Very dishonest people. The closet 10 foot U-haul is 25 miles away.

Don't you love it when everybody knows your name since I first come here I've noticed that they greet me by my first name I love how they try to have at least one or two of everything to make sure that there's at least one for another person while there's always a need for something unusual I find it here they are the tool store in my mind they have every kind of tool and the attachments extra batteries lawn mowers weed eaters chainsaws tools to keep them running right a new paint color spectrometer which matches the color to perfection if you're coming to visit for your first time please let him know SuperDave sent you they'll be glad you did

The customer service up to this point has been great but I have yet to achieve a positive result from my service. I purchased my Ariens 52" Zero turn from them on January 21st (delivery date) after moving here in December. I chose this mower because of prior history and I wanted a local dealer that was also a service center for future services. The mower has leaked oil since new form the drain plug area. It has been picked up by Mckeithen's twice now for repair. It is now sitting in my garage, in my new house, with oil spots all over my garage leaking yet still. It was returned in the exact same condition it left my house in. Bottom of mower is soaked in oil. Only thing it appears was performed was an oil change. Very disappointed with the quality of service from this location. I have now turned to Ariens for help with this and hopefully we can get this issue addressed. The top view is AFTER i wiped it down before it was taken in on this last attempt at repair. Bottom side is exactly the same as when it left. Visible oil up top where I wiped my finger through it. After mowing this area is coated in dirt and grass from all of the oil. After parking the mower, it will leave a palm sized spot where ever I park it within a day or two. Last 2 pictures of before it left for repair, floor and bottom of mower. If anything it returned with more oil underneath.**EDIT** The pictures I have posted here are AFTER the mower was returned the last time. It was never started or moved out of my garage when these picture were taken. So no cleanup was performed after the last attempt at repair. No oil leak is typical seepage. A leak is a leak. My personal vehicles are both over 4 years old and have yet to leak (or seep) a drop anywhere. I am not discounting your efforts to fix the leak only the method. If the existing mess from the leak is never cleaned how are any of us supposed to know if it the problem is fixed? I have since cleaned the area myself. It is no longer leaving puddles on my garage floor but is starting to seep around the plug already after use on 4/26 for approximately 1 hour. I attempted to contact you last week about this but nobody was available in service. Please contact Ariens support about their recommended repair procedure. Reference case #210420-000826
