I had an absolutely amazing experience with my dog Ginger at Gateway. Dr Warren and Anna were so wonderful! I brought my dog Ginger in there. She had been sneezing and having some breathing episodes. They took the time out to listen to me, watch the video I recorded so they could see what was going on with her and they prescribed her antibiotics and steroids to take care of her needs. They took time out to explain everything to me. It’s been about 24 hours and she’s already feeling better. Thank goodness for people like this in the community. I’m grateful for both of these wonderful ladies and everybody at Gateway. Thank you for taking care of Ginger. She is my heart.

Got me in quickly when I noticed my dog was very bloated. Unfortunately I had to make a touch decision to let her go. The staff were amazingly sweet and tender. They even gave me some French fries for my girl when they found out she loved them. Today was really hard, but you guys made it easier, for sure. Thank you for being so compassionate.

We adopted three pit bull puppies, all littermates. We picked them up on a Saturday and when I called the following Monday, they had an appointment open the next day. We found out that all three puppies were almost 9 weeks old. The staff have been very friendly and have explained everything they have needed to do for the last couple of months. The puppies are always excited to see the staff and want to stay and play when they are done with their visits. Definitely going to stay at Gateway!

Gateway Animal Hospital is the absolute best. All of my fur babies see Dr. Sydney Warren and we know they are in great hands. She is kind, compassionate and takes time to talk with you. The front desk staff and Techs are also very professional and polite. I can't say enough about this place, except we LOVE them.

Gateway is always extremely accommodating and professional in my experiences with them! I’m a recent transplant with a ton of pets and am there a few times a month. Every visit the doctors and techs/assistants have always been extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. The front desk crew is so warm and always take the time to chat with me. It’s a really welcoming experience! We are SO grateful that we found them!

I brought my puppy Marley May in unexpectedly and in an emergency and they helped a lot! She was really sick and has stayed at the vet the past few days. They seem to really care and want to help! My puppy seems to like them which makes me so happy! They give me updates and I can always call and ask for more updates. I highly recommend this vet!Just picked her up from the vet and she seems so sad to go haha!

First time there. Took my 9yo M Dobie. Doctor Lamar was super professional and courteus. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want but insisted on what was necessary. No gimmicks. Great personal service. Super friendly staff. Very easy to get appointment and didn't make me wait longer than 10mins to see the doc. They took time to talk and get to know me and my dog as first time customers.

Yesterday was our 1st time at Gateway Animal Hospital. I have a 1 1/2 year old Yorkie and he was needing to be seen and our previous vet left where they practiced and we just weren't happy there. I have to say that Gateway is where we will stay. I was able to get my pup in fast. Lucky wasn't scared and acted like he was at home while we were waiting for them to get him. One of the workers came out to talk to me and get info and they took Lucky so I could go back to work. I received a call and the lady went over everything with me and prices. Just an all around amazing experience. Thank you so much for being so good to Lucky. He is extra special to our family.

Gateway was already our vet for routine check ups and shots, but then that dreaded day came where we needed emergency services after my GSP was attacked by two free roaming shepherds that ripped the hide off her left haunch. The compassion and care we received from both Dr. Gary Edwards and his staff was comforting and reassuring. We faced a long recovery from a huge open wound, but gradually we were able to go from daily vet visits to every other day to weekly and so on until my dog healed. The treatment protocol was excellent. We never had any infection and they controlled her pain. I feel like they really cared about both the dog and me. I am forever grateful.

Great Vet, period. We see the caring and helpful staff. People come from far away just to bring their fur family here! When you have a Doctor that works hand in hand with rescue groups , why go elsewhere? Our baby was a rescue Dr.Gary saved , we fostered and adopted. The Vets and techs are special people. Myrtle, our 6.5 year old female cat, was not doing well, listless, not eating, gagging etc. The Dr said upper respiratory infection. They gave her an antibiotic shot and the required rabies vaccine. 2 days later she seems to feel a little better. Hopefully she will recover completely very soon. Gateway is the best Vet i have ever been to. They are amazing and take great care of both our dogs and both of our cats. Especially my German Shepherd, Handsome, who practically keeps the lights on there due to his allergies. In fact, I moved to South Carolina about a year ago and still make the 1.5 hour drive each way every time one of ours need to go to the vet. The service is unmatched and Dr. Gary is awesome.
