This sporting goods store seems to have everything. Every sport is well represented. They sell a lot of clothes and shoes here too. I gave it 4 stars because I compared some of the prices to online prices and they can be beat, but not by much. Sometimes it's worth it to get something when you need it rather than having to wait for it to be shipped. Especially when is only a dollar or two. Here's some pics...

The guy working in the gun section was very rude. This is not the first time the folks there have been rude to me. I usually try to overlook it. I will not be shopping here anymore.

This store is always clean and arranged for easy shopping throughout the store. They run daily and weekly sales in store special clearances I can snag a lot of great deals this particular store. I will definitely continue to shop here and recommend this store to all my friends family and acquaintances.

Had a great time shopping for my daughter and nephew's Birthdays.. Also picked up a safety alarm for my daughter's! Marking some important items off of the to do list!

Dunham’s gets an “eh” for me. I usually don’t run in here unless I’m desperate to find something - and it’s 50/50 chance they have it. Their stocking levels have gotten better, but it still kinda looks like they’re going out of business.

Never even heard of this company much less done business with them or signed up for anything. Yet, now they're spamming DAILY emails! And I've analysed the messages... they're not some fake phishing emails with links going to another website. Everything in them was from their legitimate website and email URLs. Seems obvious to me they've bought some email list and are now blasting marketing spam which I neither requested nor want. Ask yourself, is this the sort of company you want to do business with? Is it the sort of company you want to trust with your personal information?

Very reliable for your sports needs. I called about shoes and not only did they answer the phone, I also recieved a detailed answer to my question. When I went in there were barely any workers but when we found one he was informative, helpful, patient, and engaging. I got in and out with exactly what I needed in no time at all.

Bathrooms are always disgusting! NEVER able to find anyone to assist customers in this store! Telephone should be taken out of the store in Statesboro because they never answer and if you do get someone they send you back and forth because no one can answer any questions, eventually you will just hang up to go in the store and not be able to find anyone to help you or if you go to the front by registers and ask they don't know anything about items in the store. Prices are higher than most other stores with the same items! Okay Rant Over! Sry for the tone but not sry for the review!

Good place to shop kinda disappointed in the small selection of items and so many empty shelves. The gentleman when we first came in was so so nice! Definitely great customer service from him. However an older woman in the back was rude. Competitive pricing as well.

Can’t even rate customer service because it was nonexistent. Merchandise and floor set up was very confusing and there were no signs or sales people to help clarify. Spent entirely too much time looking for kids and youth clothing. First and last time going there.

Everytime I go in this store half of the prices are not on stuff if so they are wrong. Ally was my cashier I simply asked her for a price check and waited five minutes. I found out a small fidget toy was 6 bucks so I decided not to buy it, in the mean time she was rude and had an attitude. She acted as if a price check was inconvenient for her. How rude!!! If stuff was priced and priced correctly they wouldn't have to waste time looking it up. I will take my business somewhere else and buy my ammunition and guns other places. I don't have time for rude people.

I struggle with this rating. Let's say 2.5 🌟 You can tell they WANT TO BE a great store, just really fall short unfortunately. Either items you want are never in stock, or one of the young employees telling you incredibly inaccurate information. (They seem young, so I don't blame them too much)Clean store, plenty of things on the shelf... that's about it

We arrived at the store 10 minutes before it closed to get a fishing rod. A friend was coming fishing that didn't have a pole. We were greeted by "You know we close at 5". We were followed around and rushed. We were continuously told to bring our purchases to the front. I couldn't even get 2 seconds of peace to make a decision on what rod to get. It was the rudest display of customer service that I have ever experienced. I used to work in retail and was told that if a customer came in 30 seconds before you closed, you let them shop and not to rush them out of the store. On top of it, the rod I purchased had a coupon and I told the cashier that it had one. The cashier said if you find the coupon, bring the receipt back with the coupon. I didn't even have a chance to find a coupon. I was so upset and will not be shopping there again.

Tried to buy a weight lifting system. Nobody in the entire store had any knowledge of it. So they get it out the back and I asked a few questions on what weights I needed to purchase with it. They knew nothing. The machine and the weights all together would have been over 1K. So I politely told the manager I would buy it somewhere else. She snarked ," YOU MEAN WE DUG THIS OUT THE BACK AND YOU ARE NOT EVEN GOING TO BUY IT?!" no, I'm not spending 1000 dollars on something the store selling it knows absolutely nothing about. Please bring us an academy sports! Please!!!!!!

Would not recommend to purchase your first gun here. I came in to purchase a gun and the first 2 employees to help me were kind and helpful. They lacked knowledge on how to go through the process of selling a firearm (filling out application). 3rd employee came to help me and was very rude. Not professional at all. Due to this sour experience, I walked out and unfortunately was unable to purchase my first firearm.

Jason Futch was the rudest gun salesman at Dunham in Statesboro GA. He didn’t help me at all with my first time gun purchase. I will never buy another gun from Dunhams again. I will take my business elsewhere.

Dunham's is easily the most comprehensive sporting goods store in Statesboro. The selection in every department is extensive. The prices are comparable to what you might find in a Dick's. In fact that is the best comparison I could make. My largest interest in this store are golf, hunting, and shooting gear. There is a great selection across all price ranges. The only knock on the place I have is that I haven't interacted with any real knowledgeable associates in any of these departments. That's fine if you know what you're after, because they are likely to have it. However, if you are looking for someone on-hand to discuss product knowledge and product comparison, that might not be available. They have a ton of ammunition for fair prices, nearly every type of golf ball, and all the hunting supplies you could ever need. For that reason, I'll continue to shop here, and would recommend it to anyone in the area. Just use your pocket guru (phone) for product reviews and comparisons, and you'll have a fine experience.

Yesterday I purchased two boxes of mini shotgun shells. Upon arriving home I found one box was short two shells. I live 1-1/2 hours from Statesboro. The next day, when I talked with the gun counter manager (Gordon?) he said I would have to drive to their store where he would "give me" the two shorted shells. I explained that I live 1-1/2 hours away, and he said there's nothing else he would offer.Well, their prices are higher than they should be, and I can easily find a better store to do business with (Academy comes to mind).

Horrible customer service. Now on to the good stuff. You would think a store of this size would love for customers to be waiting outside on them to open....nope...one very rude employee had the audacity to yell at customers inline at the front door a few minutes before opening one morning recently. And on to my biggest issue...ammo. it would seem this same employee saves ammo for his buddies to come buy, instead of it going on the shelf as it should be. Big ol sign in ammo section saying 3 box limit, when I've personally witnessed his buddy check out cart fulls three times in one day.
