On March 4, 2023 I was racially profiled and threatened by April- the store manager (photo attached). Our initial encounter with her, she was very rude when we requested an exchange from the get-go. She proceeded to call the police and had myself and two other black people banned from the store because she simply "didn't want us there anymore.", which police allowed because "it's the law, whatever she says goes.." after she lied to police stating we were jumping on the counters, and attacking her (acting like monkeys.) Then proceeded to say she "doesn't care about black people." While on the phone with police she stated "I don't fight, I shoot, I will shoot y'all" , then police arrived 4 cars deep, only to criminalize the 3 black women, and no reprimands were made to the WHITE store manager whom threaten and lied to police (police knows she lied also after looking at store camera footage.UPDATE : April (Manager) has been accused of racist behavior before while working for this same location.

I don’t know why this store has a lot of good rating because it’s all lies. This store is racist and not being accountable for those actions!!!!!!!!! This lady right here, I never experienced racism till shopped here. Her name is April i didn’t get her last name but she’s bad for business!!!

I was visiting this location today and the workers there were very rude. When me and my sister came in she said hello to the older lady she looked at her and just stared no response. When we were checking out the other worker there was ringing up a customer we got in line and she swiftly and meanly said I'm closed...... so we move to the other older ladys line she rings us up we don't have enough so my sister takes out one item mountain dew drink and that's what we wanted to take out she was sighing and mean the whole time because we wanted to take out an item we didn't have enough for. Called over the manager and the manager helped her take it off the check. Then she responds with yo the manager "I just want you to know it wasn't me they wanted to take the item off." Like she was blaming us for having to do her job like she didn't want to get blamed for accidently ringing something up wrongly. My sister and I felt very unwelcome like the employees just wanted to go home. I recommend the other dollar tree.

Out of the two Dollar Trees in Statesboro, this is the smaller store. However, it is typically the most organized & less crowded of the two. Due to the popularity of FB groups for Dollar Tree crafts, this store was almost out of the Christmas craft items....hopefully they will get more in before long. Though if this smaller store doesn't have what you're looking for, you can venture over to the store on Northside Dr near Big Lots....just be forewarned that that store's parking lot can be a nightmare. Happy shopping!!

Yesterday the store had one register open and the line was back up. The manager sat in the office about the whole while I was in there. When she did come out she walked around the store helping customers instead of getting the line down. Today there was one register open and the line was backed up to the freezer. After about ten mins in line the cashier hit the call button and another cashier(Young brunette with glasses) came from the back of the store and decided to get on a register. All the while she saw the line was backed up in the store. April was my cashier today time 14:13 and yesterday was Brianna time 14:16

I'll be generous, this is a Dollar Store, which means everything here is a Dollar plus tax. Mostly, they have plenty of arts and craft supplies if you're interested in picking up cheap things for a hobby or project.If you're bored or need a few glasses or things for a party, this is probably a decent place to go.

Absolutely garbage store. Everything is an absolute mess and the staff is terrible, the manager is extremely rude, she literally cursed at me because she rang me up wrong and didn't feel like fixing her mistake. Avoid this store.

Lots of empty selves. No public restroom. I understand boxes here and there but put stuff on shelves that way maybe people would stop going through the boxes. Cause it's like we know if you don't get it when you see it then chances of buying what you wanted would be wrong.

I am currently standing 8th in line with at least 8 people behind me while one lady is running the register. Other employees are standing by the office laughing and leaning on the counter talking to each other yet no one is opening another register. Very poor service. Manager is not even acknowledging the fact that there is a line half way down the aisle.
