Amazing store. This is by far one of the cleanest stores that I have been into. All the shelves were nice and organized. The staff is very nice and is always willing to give a helping hand. Make sure to check the clearance section they always have a great selection. Stop by and see for yourself. Something is always on sale.

The older lady working has an attitude with everyone for absolutely no reason. She was trying to get the first and last name of a customer from Doordash from a man in front of me even after he told her he couldn't provide that information. She still got rude with him and continued to be snippy.

Some of the employees here racially profiled me. Me, who came in with more than enough to buy a bag of chips. I was walking towards the cashier, ready to purchase my chips and they stopped me and treated me like some sort of criminal. They threatened to call the cops and searched me just because I “Looked Suspicious” and asked me if I even had enough to buy the chips. This is how they treat some of their customers. I’ve come here a couple times to purchase and I have NEVER had this issue until yesterday.

When it comes to decorations, they remind me of Hobby Lobby, with the vast amount of different ones you can select from #just beautiful. If you need to shop for a quick inexpensive, but expensive looking gift this is the place to go; which we often forget is located down here. They have alot of beautiful home decorations, especially throw pillows. Now when it comes to cleanliness, the floors could definitely use a good deep cleaning. The women's bathroom is absolutely disgustingly nasty, it could use a professional cleaning company to clean it. Wouldn't recommend no woman to use it until they give it a deep clean. Other than that, I do love the store and what they sale. Employees are friendly I must add and knows their stuff when it comes to the store.

Good variety of items and aisles were clear and uncluttered. Prices are reasonable. The employees weren't very friendly but neither were they rude or disrespectful. I rather shop here than Walmart or majority Dollar General's. Aisles are awful to try to get through there. Big slots gets an A!

i used to go to Big Lots often, but now I've found the prices aren't terribly interesting or cheap compared to even a Walmart. "Maybe" they have better deals on furniture or something. There is just zero reason to come here when Ollies is the same thing with noticeably better pricing.

I use to like big lots But.... after driving 120 minutes round trip only to find a lot of my food items expired by several months. The prices are high and the items expired. I will no longer by food from big lots.

I give it two stars simply because it can at times have a good selection of items and an occasional pleasant employee. For the most part, this place is a dump and the people they hire are unprofessional and rude, obviously only there for a pay check and could care less to be helpful. The older white haired woman who checked me out today is a mess and an embarrassment. Seriously, the only Big Lots in Statesboro is sad enough. Get it together!

The lady who was sent to help us to see if they had a patio set in stock was not friendly. She was called to help us and when she got there to us popped off she was busy trying to help someone else, that she was also trying to count money and then said they were closing soon.

I love to go here and peaceful shop..like a small Walmart with Dollar general prices and no crowds! So if you choose to or your age or physical ability forces you to walk slow,or you want to look and read over products and enjoy looking over items great place. If you are having a you day an want to add a little shopping 🛒🛍️...this is the place to go!!!

Very friendly staff. I needed a retractable leash and went to 3 different stores and they had the cheapest in town so now I'll always go here first. They have expanded so much! It's nice to be able to pick up a half gallon of milk without making another stop at the grocery store.

Terrible smelling. As soon as you walk in it smelled of urine. Went inside hoping it was just the foyer area it was worse. So bad we left and didn't shop. No employees (and there were 3 standing there chatting with each other) never spoke or welcomed us. This is a terrible excuse for a business.

We went in this morning and decided to get our daughter a dresser. After waiting a good 20 minutes with no assistance, I decided to go towards the register. The manager i assume walked up and asked if we needed help (mind you he walked past us twice as we were standing there obviously wanting to purchase something). When I told him we were looking at getting a dresser his response was "did they tell you we didnt have it? I explained we had been waiting for assistance for 20 minutes but everyone was standing around the register propped up. He stated that it was cashiers. So I asked was he to a cashier.? He proceeded to continue to blame someone else for not assisting. I showed him which one she wanted he then went to the back and sent another guy out who was more than happy to assist us in our purchase. And he told me that he was sent out to deal with the disgruntled customer. I could not get managers name nor corporates number.

It's been a very long time since I have gone into Big Lots. I don't think I'll be going back again any time soon. The prices are not very good and the store in general is a little difficult to navigate. Unless you are going for something specific like I was, you're better off going elsewhere.

I like big lots! They have real good prices. My only complaint would be the slow checkout sometimes. But the items they carry are great and cheap. Im not to impressed with the food isle. Get most things you need here and a few extras too.

I'm sort of biased towards Big Lots they really have all the best products for prices. The groceries are reasonable electronics are reasonable even though they're not exactly the best. Furnitures good prices. To me it's just the best or in Statesboro. Only thing is sometimes some of the cashiers are pretty rude. But the store is always clean.
