We all love our Dollar General stores but please I am saying this sincerely please don't get where you're just like Walmart, if you do you'll probably lose your clientele... me as a customer I shop at one of your stores probably four or five times a week I do not work for Dollar General I work for someone else and when I go in there to shop I do not want to ring myself out , if so do the common courtesy of paying for my stuff then... If not please have someone to check me out...Ps You can't expect to employees to run the store and stock it at the same time.... please get them more help.... they are doing the best they can but they are struggling also and it's making customers upset....Thanks DG.....

Store is messy. Lots of empty holes on shelves and items always out of stock of what you need. Not easy to maneuver around store when shopping. Cashier was friendly though. Dollar General needs to work on cleaning up their stores and make it more pleasurable to shop at their stores.

It's clean including both restrooms, the employees are very nice (well mannered & spoken) eager to accommodate and they are helpful. Dollar General Does Not have restrictions or limits policy on anything they sell and products that have become necessary or popular due to Covid 19 are rarely available due to Hoarders and larger Store Chains. These chains get priority and this causes restocking orders for Dollar General stores to be unfilled or only small quantities of these products when trucks arrive each week. But I still love and honour my local store.

Everyone was very helpful. The only thing, and I am sure everyone would agree, there is always so much merchandise left in the aisles that heat been stocked. It's just aggravation to have to dodge with the carts. But everyone was super friendly.

I was in this store earlier and the store manager was completely rude, she didnt greet me when I walked in. Also when I checked out she handed me my receipt and when I said Thank you Ma'am, have a nice day it was completely ignored. They do have a few friendly employees but I know a few that could use some customer service training. Also they do usually have what I need in stock and the store is for the most part clean its just those few employees could put a smile on thier face and be atleast a little friendly.

The Dollar General in Statenville has some of the nicest employees. I shop here because they have almost everything I need, it's only 8 minutes from my house, they are cheaper than Wal-Mart, and they have a Red Box! It's also close to a place that sells Hunt Brothers Pizza and has a beer cave, so everything is right where I need it.

The store would be convenient but it does not carry ethnic hair products which is a disservice to the POC’s in Statenville. They only have hair products that cater only to their Caucasian customers.

Generic dollar store has all your stuff for decent prices. As per usual. Parking setup was a little hard to get in and out of with a long truck.

Why is it the Dollar General in Statenville is the only DG that allows smoking at the front door! Per the DG handbook it is not supposed to be allowed. It’s stinks and flows into the store ! No one wants to walk through your cloud of smoke it is unhealthy. When something was mentioned to the associate she said not to shop there anymore. Rude and disrespectful to customers. I would rather support my hometown ! So please stop smoking at the front door. And oh yea those are LP tanks yall were standing beside. (Spring). This is not the first time and it needs to stop!

I like it it's better than driving all the way to LakePark or Valdosta Georgia it saves time and gas. If you forgot to pick something up swing by pick it up on your way home.

Decent store but almost every time I have gone to this store I have to wait forever for an employee to cash out either there in the office on phone or in the back seems understaffed or if there is a cashier open usually a long line
