The bakery was awesome ! The baker and cake decorator need a raise !! I called last minute today at 130 to see if I can get a cake by 530! The baker made our cake and had it done by 330! I'm so thankful ! Especially considering we asked for whipped icing, a picture of princesses, and both my girls names on it ! They went all out !

A lady in the Deli dept needs customer relation training. I asked if she could give me a small piece of the ham that I had intentions of buying. The package that I had was pre-cut and packaged. Her reply, " I'd have to open a whole new slab".This occurred around 5:30pm so there was plenty of time before the store closed so others could have made a purchase. I am through with that "country" store. Needless to say, she lost a customerfor that store.

I shopped at food lion in Springfield yesterday and found my avocado dressing that I couldn’t find at other stores, my friend was looking for clam sauce that we also went to a couple other stores and couldn’t find, I was pleasantly surprised at items available that no longer available anywhere else, prices are a bit higher, staff was friendly and yes I’m definitely going back.

It's a grocery store... 😂 u can purchase food there it's wheelchair accessible and they have handicap parking! My wife said they're decently priced and better than Kroger!

Went to get 8 piece fried chicken on sale and worker said she doesn't know about it so I showed the ad and told me it would be 20min. I came back 20 minutes and she was prepping the chicken and it would be another 20 min. I watched and they were frying leg quarters!! Supposed to be drum sticks and thighs! Not the same thing....

It's ok, not really clean and some of the employees seem nice. Lately we have been having to put items back d/t them being expired.Update: This store is going down hill very fast. Lately the store has been very nasty and employees are just standing around talking.

This Food Lion location is alright. I encountered a very impatient cashier one morning. I did not know you couldn't scan the label on the fruit you had to key it in. The cashier was very impatient and rude. I finally told her I am not expected to know how to do your job.

I hate to leave; it's conveniently close, and prices are reasonable. I am not sure what's going on in this store, but this is the 3rd time, that I've purchased rotten fruit. I've even had to notify staff of rotten fruits being on the shelves. I was handed attitude for saying something, but I let it go. The store looks dim and dismal, and I can only catch good customer service on certain days. I used to frequent this store, but I'll gladly make the drive to Publix and pay a little more for fresher foods and stellar customer service.

Terrible smell hit me as soon as I walked in the front door. Smelled like rotten meat and seafood. Bought a couple of necessities and left in a hurry. When I got home I found that the mayonnaise I had just bought had been expired for almost 2 weeks. Does not give me a good feeling about shopping here.

Not really fond of Food Lion. Always out of a lot of simple things. Their prices are outrageous. They have been high since they opened. I only go there for necessities when I can't get to Kroger or Wal-Mart. Sometimes their meat section smells horrible.

It is nice to have a store real closes and the staff is great. The only thing is sometimes they are sold out of things and the other day I see this lady buy like 30 milks. I feel they should put a limit on things like this as this is the only store in this area.

Slimy ground beef. Produce looked absolutely awful. There is absolutely no excuse for letting a store go like this.Where is the manager? And don't tell me it's a food shortage. That's no excuse for leaving rotting fruit, vegetables and meat on the shelves!

We always shop there, now that they are in Springfield GA. Even better. Close, great meat dept. Great produce, competive pricing. Enough cashiers so you don't wait in line to long. Unlike walmart,, you wait to long. Try Food Lion Port Wentworth or Springfield great place to shop. Good friendly people, good service also.

Major disappointment when they took over Harvey's. The amount of bare shelf space is disturbing. And it's every time I go, there is so much "sold out". Selection is pretty slim compared to other stores. Example, very minimal options on diet sodas. Much of the produce is far from fresh and past its prime. I pretty much figure I need to go to Rincon to do any decent grocery shopping now.

I go to food lion all the time. Because I'm 65 and in poor health I love the smaller size of your stores. Its easiest for me to go all the way around.

I live in Rincon but I would rather drive safely to Springfields Food Lion than the local Kroger now. That was my favorite place. But now it's more convenient and very less stressed 😫 and energy just to drive down there. And everything is beautiful and fresh. The veggies meats. Just everything. I'm so glad my friends in Springfield have been mentioning it because it has gotten to the point where I am making my own husband do the grocery shopping for me. Or I would order from Walmart and pick it up.The only difference is not being able to use coupons. I would probably save more right now if I could. And at Kroger my husband says he saves money on gas. If I saved money for groceries then maybe he'd be happy.So he still has decided to go there.

Well it was not bad not too many people got to cashier and the gentleman who bag my Groceries I was a little down I been sick but before I left Food Lion store I told him I know you don't take tips but Merry Christmas to you and thank you because we're down you don't know what the next person is going through and give cashier also some Holiday Happiness

This Food Lion is not half as nice as the rest of them. It looks nothing like most other Food Lions. The bakery section is awful compaired to the one in Portwentwort on 95. I was excited when they said we would get a Food Lion but the whole store is a disappointment.
