Captive audience being the only grocery store in town. Many otems on the shelf expired so be careful when purchasing. New owners have hiked prices on everything. Meat counter meat is marginal at best, produce often bruised or rotten.

Sparta has the Best and Cleanest Sandy's IGA that I've ever experienced! I was 9 years old the first time that I went with my great aunt from Mitchell. I've passed it bye for 20 years and now I stop there every weekend heading for the lake. Sandy's still there I'm sure and everyone is so hospitable and helpful! Go stop in and don't forget the Dunn's fresh sausage made locally. Best $ prices anywhere 👌

Today was the first day that I've been to Sandy's IGA in Sparta in several months. I was dumbfounded by the prices $3 for a can of corn $10 for frozen fish sticks on and on. The produced looked horrible the collards that they had were yellow lettuce was 299 ahead and it was rotted. Very disappointed it's going downhill rapidly.

Extremely high prices, produce is bad ! Go to the Dollar store ! I only go there if have to. Not like it use to be .Indian bunch just trying to make all they can, hope they go Broke.

Call Sandy’s is not fancy, but it is a handy little grocery store. their selection of meat is truly surprising and it’s variety. Pricing is good. And for some reason, I just enjoy visiting this little store.

Reliably good. Sandy's is a small supermarket in Sparta that people have relied upon for decades. I understand there's a new owner involved. Lets see how it goes. I wish him luck!

the grocery store had a big parking lot the bathrooms are nice and clean wide variety of things to buy in the store like meats vegetables drinks bread and etc. the people who work there are very nice friendly visited store in Oct of 2019 pine Tree festival

The place discounts products for quick sale AFTER the expiration date has already passed. They are the only grocery store in town, they have no fair competition and they take full advantage of the situation. They no longer accept WIC vouchers.👎

Only Grocery in town. They have outdated product on the shelf so you must check dates. Only shop there when it’s absolutely necessary. Every time I have gone I have found outdated or moldy food. Someone from the health department needs to pay a visit. The town will never grow unless we have a good food supply and currently we don’t !

Bobby Bacon need to change the water that the fresh asparagus is sitting in. The water is nasty and has debris in it. That's why I did not buy any fresh asparagus.

When don't have a choice. Sandy's IGA. The staff needs a break room. I would like to walk in the store and NOT see them crowded around the door! The cashiers are not friendly. Limited choices when you live in Sparta , GA.

Store was very clean. The items that I wanted was in stock, but I did notice that some of the fresh produce didn't and was not fresh. So I didn't purchase any fruits.

Great small town grocer, don't expect everything you can get at the big box stores but you can expect small town friendly service and a in-house butcher who will cut your meat how you want it.

They have most of what I need but not all. Very small location but OK for quick runs. Big shopping trips are made to Walmart or Publix.

The worst grocery store ever! They sell EXPIRED MEAT and other expired products, I understand it's in a very small town but they need to do better.
