I hate to leave this review as the lady who runs the front desk is very kind. I’ve taken several of my vehicles to this shop and unfortunately will not be anymore. One of my vehicles had an over heating issue that seemed to elude the mechanics on what the issue was. After a few visits I was advised had either a blown head gasket or warped head. I was quoted $2,000-$3,000 depending on the issue. Being as the vehicle was not worth that much I declined.I let the vehicle sit and months later had another certified mechanic look at it. He determined it was not a blown head gasket rather a worn out thermostat. He replaced the thermostat and I had him replace the water pump for preventative maintenance. 2 things really disappoint me. 1. During one of my visits I asked TDS to replace the thermostat, it was never replace and luckily I was not charged as I have the receipt. 2nd their mechanics obviously did not go through a process of elimination to find the issue. I could have been out $2k-$3k if I told them to do the work. I waited a couple months to post to this to make sure the issue did not come up and I have no over heating issues. Please use caution.

I do the majority of auto maintenance and repairs myself, but I’m certainly not an expert. When I am presented with a problem that is above my level of competence or too important to risk my family’s safety if done wrong or incompletely, I call TDS. These guys are the real deal. I’ve used them a dozen or so times and have never been disappointed. I cannot overstate the importance of having an auto shop/mechanics that you can trust, both with knowledge of their craft and with fair pricing for services. That is what you can expect with this TDS.

I moved here less than a year ago and was worried about finding a dependable mechanic. I had to get my AC repaired and figured I would give these guys a shot. So glad I did. They have excellent customer service and repaired my vehicle in a timely manner at a reasonable price. They also have an awesome and sweet 4-legged greeter at the front door. I will be taking all of my vehicles here as long as I live in the area. Excellent service guys and keep up the good work!!!!

We have used TDS for quite some time now to fix our vehicles. They are always knowledgeable and friendly!! Most recently they did some work on my 2002 Buick that I seriously thought was on its last leg. Turns out they were able to fix it up for a reasonable price and now it’s running better than it has in years! I’m optimistic now that I may be able to get a few more years out of it.

Easily the best auto shop I've ever gone to. My vehicle broke down 250 miles away from home. These guys started working on my SUV immediately. They ordered the part from a town 30 minutes away then went and picked it up to help expedite my SUV getting fixed. Super nice and helpful group of associates. I don't often do reviews but TDS Auto Service deserves all 5 stars. Without an appointment It only took them 15 minutes from when I got there to patch my tire and have my car ready to go. Really impressed with their service, staff, pricing and friendlyness. Would 100% recommend.

You can't ask for a better shop! My car broken down unexpectedly late in the day. They were so friendly, picked it up quick, and had it assessed, then fixed in basically 1 day! They will definitely have all my business and I am so glad to have found them, especially being a newcomer to the area. Karen & Krewe are always very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable regarding my car, yes, an old 2002 PT Cruiser. Pricing is always good, and they try to give you repair options, not just up sell you. You won't be sorry. During Covid, they had to limit what type of repairs they could do, but they are returning back to a more normal operation every day!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Travis built motors over the years for my street rods and drag cars. He has a vast knowledge of the whole car. He often is able to tell me whats wrong with the motor by its sound. Karen & Travis are so friendly & helpful. Karen runs the front office & Travis runs the work shop. They're honest people & don't want to rip you off, which is rare to find in that type of business. They'll tell you like it is, if it's a cheap fix or an expensive one. For example, I didn't have the money to fix a problem right away, so Travis told me, honestly, how much longer it'll hold out until I can pay for the real repair. They're sweet people who want to make an honest living, and they still have my business even after I moved out of Social Circle.
