Even when I moved much farther away, I still make the trip here because I know if I can't find what I need, someone will come up with an idea. Anywhere else I go, they just say, "No, we don't have it." And I love, love the very 'girly' gifts section. Ceramic bunnies, delicate bracelets and inspirational plaques are just some of the things I had to have, along with the bolts and bug repellent.

Stepping into the Ace Hardware in Social Circle is like taking a step back in time. The employees are all awesome. They greet you when you come in, and if you need help with anything there is someone there that actually knows what they are talking about, unlike Lowe's or Home Depot. Highly recommend visiting here they have something for everyone!

Honestly, Social Circle Ace could expand their hardware selection but their customer service is fantastic so I still give them 5 stars. I enjoy shopping here especially around the holidays.

This is a perfect country hardware store with a really good landscaping sales and repair department. I like Christmas shopping here as well.

Went to the ace hardware there to there archery department. I needed my string but on my crossbow. I called that day and was told to come on over but I might have to wait a bit. I asked them how long does it take to string a crossbow and guy told me 10 minutes. When I got there I was told they did not have time to do it and I would have to come back another day. I was mad! I ended up just buying a new crossbow and get this! The same guy who told me that he did not have time ended up putting my new crossbow together which took about 15 minutes. What I’m getting at is if the cost of service is not good enough they don’t have time for you. And I live a hour and ten minutes away. I feel like I was not good enough for them. The picture is the new crossbow I bought there.

I was quoted +/- $90 for an oil change on my Exmark mower. When I called to check to see if it was ready, they then told me it would be $450! Without discussing it with me first, they took it upon themselves to replace the air filter, hydraulic filter and hydraulic oil. This mower has 74 hours on it and even on Exmark's web page, they don't recommend replacing the hydraulic oil/filter until 250 hours. I blow the air filter out after each use so it was basically brand new. When I questioned why they did this, the guy at the counter got loud to the point I had to ask him not to yell at me. He refused to give me the mower until I paid them the entire $450. I asked for a manager but was told no manager was at the store. When I walked off to go go find someone else to talk to, he finally called his boss. He knocked it down to $250 but that was still more than twice what I was quoted. I eventually paid the $250 only because he was holding my mower hostage and refused to give it back. This could have been prevented with a simple call before doing anymore than we had discussed. After the way I was treated, I will NEVER step foot in the store again. For anyone dealing with these guys, please get a written quote first before leaving your mower/equipment. I have never seen such poor customer service as I did this weekend.

This is a very nice shop to purchase things that you need for your home. The associates were very friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. If they did not know, they would have someone else answer all your questions and make recommendations. Highly recommend this store for Home Improvement, or DIY. They also have a little lovely Christian bookstore as well inside

First let me say that from the moment I walked into this place I was treated as if I was the most important person in the store. My wife and I just moved to Georgia and my Bear Arena 30 blew up with just 3 weeks prior to a long awaited Iowa hunt. Mark took the time to discuss options, set my bow up and spent time on the range giving me form tips etc. He went out of his way to make sure everything was working perfectly and that I was happy before leaving the store. The shop has a large variety of bows from entry level to flag ship bows and everything in between. Extremely friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend even if you have to drive an hour to get there. Thanks Mark for such a great experience.

The best people all around. Everyone is so helpful -- even the younger generation that works here - they are just as respectful and kind - wanting to help. I have never had a bad experience at this location. In fact, each time I visit - just gets better. Thank you Jim and Will for making sure I purchased the grill I wanted (and not letting me order the wrong item.). You all are awesome!

Had some old carriage lights on my barn. Rebuilt them, and was missing the knurled brass fine thread anchor nuts. Matt, a nice young man, assisted me and found the correct ones so I could remount my lights. He took his time and was patient. I truly appreciate great customer service. I live in Mansfield, and I take the 30 minute drive just for that alone. Highly recommend 🙏👍😊

Took my 11 year old daughter this past sat and never knew about this place! She was wanting a bow and it was her first . not only did they give excellent advice about which one why how everything! I can't remember his name but thanks again he set her bow up and taught her basics of the CORRECT WAY to shoot it as if she was his own daughter! Im speechless as to how the knowledge inventory and service was above and beyond what I could ever imagined! He spent 30 min in the range yes folks u shoot it before u leave! Much as u want. If u need archery or guns they have a separate gun department as well. Look no further 35min from my house. Worth driving 3 hours if needed! He set me up a complete bow as well. So much attention to every detail the bow is built to you and only u!! I will tell everyone I can about this place and will be back soon!

Hands down the best Ace in the area. Way more inventory than your typical Ace Hardware. There's even a surprisingly large selection of firearms and accessories; with a better than average stock and price on ammo.

I was so happy with the service I received! I literally ordered the supplies to build a deck over the phone. I went in on a Wensday to pay for the material. It wasn't scheduled to be delivered until Friday. Not even 30 minutes after returning home from paying they showed up to deliver my materials! The gentlemen was so nice and provided great quick service! Plus they had the best prices on lumber! I will go out of my way to here over the others from now on! Keep up the great work you all!

Awesome place, if you need it ,they probably have it.I've lived in Social Circle about 16 years and enjoy shopping here.The people are very knowledgeable about what they sell. This is a hardware store like was around when I was young. Really like going in and getting what I need quickly .And come the holiday's they have candy and some of the best hoop cheese ever.

Very impressed. This was our first visit but we will be back for certain. This not only a good hardware store but they also have an archery shop, gun shop, Christmas shop and more. Very pleasant and helpful staffing as well.

Nice store. The only problem I had was that I drove an hour to get to this great bow shop that is advertised on the ace store and when I arrive I am told the bow shop is closed on Mondays. You would think that you would have an ace employee trained to sell shelve items located in the bow shop while the store is open since your are showing the bow shop on the ace hardware website.

The archery shop is LEGIT! I went in with an idea, and only that. Being out of bow hunting for 15 years, I only know the style and brand of bow I wanted and the guy behind the counter(I suck at names) and the young man helping him were awesome. After letting me take a bow for a test drive, they went about meticulously helping me set up a bow soup to nuts, and ~30minutes later I walked out with everything I need to get back in the game and fling arrows at a target(which they also helped me with). Tons of options and variety, they shared opinons when asked but weren't guiding me towards any one sales pitch or another. Great experience.

My husband dropped his bow off almost a month ago and was told it would take about two weeks to be restrung. Three and a half weeks later we decided just to go pick it up to take it somewhere else seeming as we still had not heard back from them. Upon arrival we were told it was ready and that they had tried to contact us, although I’m sure it was a lie, as we never received any kind of phone call or notice. We paid $160 dollars, only for us to come home and have my husband shoot it a couple of times and now it is coming unstrung. I DO NOT recommend this place. Also, the staff in the archery shop specifically, was rude when we initially dropped the bow off. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
