I love this place, they were fast, friendly and professional. I took my dog in at 9:17 and they already called before 11 o’clock to advise that he was ready to go( shampoo & trim). They followed my instructions to the T.After horrible & disappointing experiences at PetSmart (Lavista Rd) and Swag Pets (Covington Hwy), I think it’s safe to say, that Luck Dog is my new favorite groomer. They get it right every time and they don’t keep my dog all day. We are Lucky for the referral from our dog park crew.

I’m a first timer and was highly recommend it to come here from a group of ladies at a nearby dog park.I dropped BaRocco off @ 8 ( he was washed immediately) and was ready for pick up by 12:30.And I cannot forget to say that my dog despises baths but he WILL be returning.

Jackie was the best at taking care of Daisy and her grooming. Since Jackie has retired Becky takes care of Daisy’s grooming and does a fantastic job. I don’t like to leave our dog since she is scared of people and doesn’t like strangers. I wait for her to be groomed and then take her home. Only takes an hour so very worth it to wait and not have her scared with the kennel. I tried several grooming places and lucky dog does the best job of all of them and is good to my dog. I can’t stand for mean people to groom an animal.

Love this place! Always how they treated our dogs and will never go anywhere else. My dog has bad anxiety and they are so patient, even let me stay with him to keep him calm. They smell amazing after!

I dropped my two yorkies off for summer cuts and showed pictures of what I wanted. One dog looks like she was bathed only with little to no haircut and the other was overly shaved. They were beautiful and clean when I picked them up but I'm still having to deal with grooming maintenance on the girl that I was hoping wouldn't be the case.

The staff here is AMAZING. I’ve been bringing my 2 little pups here since I moved to GA in 2002 and I never changed. My first dog unfortunately passed away so now I bring MJ, my most recent pup. They are always nice and they get the job done! Highly recommended.

My favorite place for dog grooming - the groomer is good with my feisty part Pom who tolerates her pretty well - which isn’t always the case. There is generally quite a long wait for appointment, be prepared to wait a few weeks. Good value for service.

I've been taking my pet babies to this grooming location for years. I have a standing every 2 weeks appointment. I love that they take the time to brush her out versus shaving her down. She smells amazing each time I pick her up. Lovely and caring staff there. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

We took our kids to PetSmart for years until an incident last year involving a groomer who thinks she's a vet. After that, we tried a mobile groomer who pooped out on us. Then, my office administrator suggested Lucky Dog Grooming. Best.groomers.EVER! You can tell they love dogs and in shows in the finished work. Our kids loved them, and so did we. Our search for a good groomer is so over! I'm attaching a photo of one of the girls. They are all beautiful! Thank you, Lucky Dog Grooming.

I have been taking my dog there for about a year. This past time she said my dog was tangled and she would have to shave her. I explained we had been combing her every day and the lady told me she was too old to comb out my dog and had arthritis. I said that I was paying for the service and she said she did not have time! I had to leave my dog due to an appt on that side of town and when I picked her up she was completely shaved. I will never take her back.

The last two months they have been punishing my dog placing him in the back where no one can see back there ….while the other dogs are in cages up front where the groomers are waiting on their owners. I don’t know the reason for this…nobody gives me the reason I don’t understand why after all this time/ over a year that I’ve been going there the last two months/2 visits my dog has been placed in the back of the building and not in the cages up front as he was before. This is a punishment and cruelty to an animal he is 8 lbs. 6 oz. miniatures schnauzer, who is harmless doesn’t bite he whines for me and I have noticed after picking him up this last time he was very jumpy. This is not a place I will continue to take my dog the daughter of the owner in his last visit says I’m afraid that get him he bit me before I said he bit you he doesn’t bite. He has always been loving and wants to cuddled and this first time I’ve heard this. That was a red flag for me when she said that and her mother who grooms him never looked up at me I thought that was strange so I know he was being abused. All I can say to people reading this is BEWARE. Abusing animals it’s not OK.!

This place has been great so far. My Vet recommended the location after they stopped doing baths. I have been 3 times and was fully satisfied each time. My pet doesn't need a haircut, just bath and nail trim. They always do their best to fit us in the same day. My precious beautiful pet is returned to me clean, well groomed, and happy. I highly recommend.

I had to come back and change my review. I am sad to state that I will no longer take my dogs to this location. I used to love Ms. Wendy and how great she was with my Terrier.I recently got another dog(a maltese) and I took her to this location. After the second visit, I noticed that she was acting strange and would no longer allow us to touch her paws. I disregarded it and didn't think anything of it because she's new to being groomed. Well today, I took my Terrier who has gone to them for 3 years and noticed that she was limping pretty badly. I also noticed that she wasn't acting the same. I called back up to the shop and asked them what happened. The owner stated that she wasn't aware of anything happening, she stated that maybe the shampoo girl knew and she would have to ask her in the morning because she was gone for the day, but that my dog was fine. As I sat and watched my perfectly healthy dog barely stand or walk, I became increasingly concerned and angry. I called back up to the location and told them that something definitely happened to my dog because she could barely walk. That's not how I dropped her off. This is when the woman said she was happy to see her daddy when he picked her up maybe from the excitement, she jumped in the crate and hurt herself. I then said when does the shampoo girl come in because I'm coming back up there. That is when she said that SHE washed her and nothing happened. This totally contradicts what she told me 30 minutes prior....There was NO shampoo girl, she lied! I then asked her where was my dogs regular groomer because I've never had these issues before. That is when she told me that she was no longer working there. I can totally understand if you accidentally cut her with the clippers. But, just be honest about it. People make mistakes. But to blatantly lie makes me think that more happened.Needless to say, they just lost a long term customer. I'm sensitive about my dogs and I do not play when it comes to someone hurting them. They can't tell you when someone has hurt them or if something is wrong. I'm never going to them again.

Started taking my Yorkie here about 6 months ago and I loved it. Clean place, professional staff, but I loved how they groomed her. The haircut was perfect and the price the for the service was very fair. Definately recommend those dog grooming location.

The indicator is whether your dog resists going in the salon - no dog likes being groomed, but my dog has never resisted going inside (usually off leash) - to me, it is a clear indicator that she is well cared for - Becky is Maybelline's friend for life.

Took my dog to Lucky dog for his last grooming. He was very (chopped) up when I picked him up. We had to go very low to get his coat even. I truly wanted this salon to work out. The staff was very friendly and caring. My dog is groomed every six to eight weeks. Like for him to be well groomed.

Went in today for new visit as we’re new to area.My 11 lb Havanese who has been groomed monthly since he was 4 months old gets very anxious and I informed Becky of this.She did an amazing job and he smells so clean. She took care of not cleaning his ears as he is on ear drops for infection and we cannot clean ear canal for meds to work.I scheduled our next appointment on the spot!Becky did a great job! Thank you!!!

We will never take our old girl anywhere else!! My husband and I took our almost 14 year old girl Sally to Lucky Dog today for the first time (she has head ticks and Petsmart will only see her at certain times mon-thurs) and I wish we had found them years ago. My husband dropped her off and when he picked her up, she was sound asleep. She was so comfortable with them that she fell so deeply asleep that they had to shake her awake. They were able to do her nails with zero problem (she freaks when we touch her feet) and gave her the CUTEST summer shave. I haven’t seen her this chill after a grooming appointment in all of her 14 years. They have new customers for life!!

Wendy has done a great job with my fur baby since 2017. He loves her and she loves him. The staff is always courteous and professional, they care about the owners as well as the pets. Even though I moved from Gwinnett County to Rockdale County, I will continue to bring Mr. Bailey to Lucky Dog.
