I have had a vet near my sister's home for years who I adore. She recently passed away and the property changed hands, so I knew it was time to find a local vet. This was my first visit to Sharpsburg Animal Hospital. My labs were sick and I was able to get them seen quickly. Dr. Hand and her staff were so welcoming it felt like I had been there before. Dr. Hand and Kate were so careful with my labs. Kate has terrible anxiety and Livi the puppy is just over the top happy to be anywhere. I appreciate not only the excellent care but Dr. Hand's conservate approach and her mindfulness to finances. Her communication was on the spot. Being able to touch base by text was so convenient and easy. I have found my girls' new vet!!!

I drive in from Atlanta because I would follow Dr. Christy, the only person I trust with my dog, ANYWHERE. I trust her implicitly. She and supporting staff are all the kindest— I truly feel like they all treat my dog as if he was their own.Thank you all for the best care!

My regular vet was on vacation and they recommended me to Sharpsburg Animal Hospital. Extremely nervous already with the condition of my dog, Dr Christy made it all better, her professionalism and kindness really made the whole experience much better. SAH has been wonderful to my kitties!! Specifically, Dr. Britton has been phenomenal and so kind! She knows what’s best and gives the absolute BEST care to my kitten and my senior cat and does a stupendous job keeping me informed! I have recommended Dr. Britton to several friends and will continue to do so—she’s the best! The cleanliness is also top notch!

please don't waste your time here. the front office is more concerned with their own feelings and your pet is not important to them. you are just a dollar in their pocket and a way to make themselves feel high and mighty because they dismissed your pet due to their own inability to empathize with a pet parent. crybabies that need a safe space have no souls and should not be working with animals. I bet they walk around giving themselves high-five and "atta-girls" all day long. yeah, you showed me, didn't you......don't worry about my dog that could die on my birthday, you just make sure that you feel good about yourself. UPDATE: she did die two days later, so thanks for being so supportive in our time of need. I'm glad your practice manager was so on board with protecting your safe space and made sure that we weren't able to get our pet the care she needed in time.

Chose this location because of their 5 star rating and so happy I did! Excellent service, reasonably priced, friendly, knowledgeable staff. My dog was happy with the service too. I highly recommend them!!

Our visit was great. Great care facility for our dog. The pricing was very transparent from the start. Our dog didn’t like the prescribe food for his bladder stones but that doesnt have any impact over the cared provided from the doctor there. We are scheduling a neutering and stone removal appointment with SAH and i will keep this post updated.

I take all my pets to SAH, they are always so kind and understand animals very well. The staff is always so kind and Dr. Christy is a very special soul. She has helped us with new puppies, and sending our old fellow over the rainbow bridge. They don't try to up-sell you on items you can't afford, which was important to me. It is a good "old fashioned" veterinarian practice with people who really care about animals and their humans.

I brought in a litter of 11 puppies for their first round of shots, everyone was so helpful and nice. The puppies were in great hands and always felt comfortable. AND the price was great!!!

The facility is beautiful & clean. All of the staff are friendly, caring & helpful. We love Dr. Christy! She graciously takes her time with us in all of our questions with our new kitten. I don’t leave many reviews, but I genuinely love SAH. I trust no other clinic more with my fur babies. There has never been a time I wasn’t completely comfortable and satisfied with any one of our visits. The doctors and techs are the best at what they do and they really love your pets, too. Not to mention the cleanliness, professionalism and general good vibes. My dog actually gets excited to go see all of his friends who work there. I have and will always recommend Sharpsburg Animal Hospital to everyone.

I absolutely love Sharpsburg Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are Amazing! They are all so incredibly kind, and provide the best care! Dr. Britton listens, answer all of my questions, and treats my 2 dogs, Judge and Jersey, like her own! If I call, she always returns my calls. Dr. Britton goes above and beyond! I’m so thankful for Dr. Britton and the staff at Sharpsburg Animal Hospital. They are so much more than just a veterinarian clinic, they are family!

If anyone is looking for a vet clinic DO NOT go to Sharpsburg Animal Clinic. The ladies up front a aweful. Especially the old short haired one with glasses that sits on the right. The staff there are terrible at communicating. They give you the run around never answer your questions straight forward and then are hyper focused about payment. They just want money. I took my rescue who was heartworm positive there for his treatment. I went there because I knew the vet and trusted her (well so I thought I did not so sure anymore). When I mentioned I still owed money for the heartworm recheck I was told by this vet not to worry about it. Well I decided to take my rescue someone else because I have hated how I was treated here but only kept going for that vet and now today I found out that said vet is not longer with the practice and opened their own practice. So in request in moving my dog to somewhere else they told me they would not give me his records until I paid which I was more then willing but mentioned to them that the vet said I didn’t have to. They called me a liar a more then one account. Even told me I was lying when I mention I had been calling them all day and no one would answer. I had to show them my phone for proof. Now after reading through the records and notes and putting prices together. I’m questioning if my dog even got his heart worm. Treatment to begin with.
