Really helpful staff. They did not have the color of Ready Seal stain that we wanted so they ordered it for us. Unfortunately we did not order enough and had to order from Home Depot. Hometown Hardware was $25 cheaper (we had a deadline and the big box store could get it to us faster).. The picture shows the color. It is light oak on a treated pine fence. We love how it turned out.

They lost a customer today. Bought the wrong size chainsaw chain due to misleading packaging, and they wouldn’t take it back 1.5 hours after I bought it, brand new and nicely in the original package. They pointed out a policy on no returns that was not pointed out to me when I purchased the item. So much for helping your customers. Ohwell. Most of their inventory is significantly overpriced anyway.

It serves it purpose. Some items seemed to be outrageously over priced but hey I didn't stop by their for any one of the at least half a dozen rechargeable work lights available for purchase. I stopped by for a double gang old work box and a plate cover that'd accommodate a bathroom light switch and the addition of a GFCI outlet. They produced em and all in all I wasn't into it all but about 8 bucks

They might not carry everything you need, but they are very pleasant & ready to assist. Can't get that at Lowe's nor The Home Depot. Always our first stop for hardware needs.

Called at 2:45 on July 4th to inquire about Ball canning supplies, was put on hold while she went to check. She came back & said they had it in stock, but they were closing at 3pm due to the holiday, but to come on they would wait. I explained I was in the middle of canning & ran out of lids. I live right on the other side of the Turin traffic circle on 54. Got there at 3pm & they were super nice, helped me. First time I’ve shopped there, didn’t get to look, but I will be back. Great customer service for a relative inexpensive ($9.00) item from someone they didn’t even know. Thanks guys, you really helped me out.

We moved to Senoia a couple of years ago and pass by Hometown Hardware several times a week. We never stopped by. Until a couple of weeks ago. Wow! I wish we would have known. They have a bit of everything. Top quality brands. Stuff we have been driving 25 minutes one-way to Home Depot for at about the same price. Since our first visit, we have dropped in several times to pick up stuff to start getting the yard ready for summer. it is so handy -- they are literally 5 minutes from our front door. And super nice and helpful staff.

What a great hardware store. I was working on this side of the town and I needed some roofing nails and some sealant so I stopped by. Right after I went in I saw that people were awesome and I could tell that they care about their customers. I got what I needed and all the employees over there were awesome. When I went to check out there was this ltl girl 7-8yrs probably who scanned my items and she was awesome. Asked me if I needed a bag or a receipt and she was the sweetest cashier ever. I will definitely come back here. YOU GUYS ROCK ⭐️

I've been to the hardware store several times but this is the first time leaving a review. They have a wide selection of items you would need for jobs of any type. All the employees are helpful and I always feel welcomed in the store. The store is laid out well and it's always an enjoyable shopping experience. The folks there are always helpful with advice. I will continue to give Hometown Hardware my business.

Went in yesterday, as I was walking out there was a young man who looked frantic, I went to go talk to him, and he had mentioned that they fired him. I have seen him working there quite frequently. Has helped us a few times, really great kid. Haven't seen many young folks in the store in awhile, wondering what has happend to them all?

Super friendly staff. Very well laid out store. Clean and organized.The staff was VERY quick to help me and even joked around a bit.(which is somewhat of a lost business concept these days).From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a welcoming smile. We walked passed two other gentleman stocking shelves and both made eye contact and asked if we needed any help. (By this time I already got what we came to get and was just looking around).Prices were....a bit toward the high end, but for convenience and the staffs attention to detail, friendly nature,and overall positivity, I'm more than willing to stop by again. Felt like an actual person, not just another body walking thru the door...I would suggest some kind of sign, banner or something that makes it more visible from highway 16. The color of the building kinda blends in to the surroundings and in think it could easily be passed by.(I live 2.5 miles away and forgot it was there)Keep up the great work! Zero complaints. EVERYONE working at the store today (3/29) went above and beyond any normal expectations one would hope to see from a business. Each and every employee today was definitely an asset to this place and I will,without a doubt, return.

Went for the first time today to pick up a few things (painting a room). As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the store associates. He asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and then took me directly to what I needed. He was super courteous and and asked if I needed anything else. The store itself is well laid out. Seems to have everything you need in good quantity. Love the fact that there’s a hardware store in our hometown. 9 min drive. Easy in and out. Perfect. Thanks for a wonderful experience today! I will take this small town hardware store, their store hours, and pet policy any day. If I want corporate America I’ll go to Lowe’s or HD.

not fair service. didn’t help me at all, acted ignorant and judge. basically ignored me but put all their time in the adults shopping there. staff seems biased towards young people. poor service overall, and the one guy (joe i think) made me very uncomfortable. i don’t recommend.

Went in to buy a shower cartridge from this hardware store. The employee that helped me was awesome,I got the right cartridge for the job all went well. This is a very friendly customer oriented store very well stocked and great store all the way around. Awesome experience! Thank you guys!!!

Nice store and decent selection but not too impressed with SOME staffing. More times than not, I have actually approached the cashier and no words spoken until of course I make an effort to be polite and say hello how are you. I have never understood this having worked in retail but it might be difficult to speak with a mouthful of tobacco. Staff seems interested in helping but sometimes a little over the top circling the aisles. I am all about supporting the local economy but think Lowes and HD is a better option for me.

I have been several times and the staff is great! The store has a lot of things and it’s nice to shop in town and not have to go so far for things! I even had some keys made here, got things for the farm and the yard! My son like the little farm toy section and of course the gummy worms! Love that this is family owned!!

We get our propane tanks filled here. The price is much cheaper than the "self-serve tank exchanges" at other locations. The young man that helped us was extremely polite!

This place is like a toy store for grown ups. They have an awesome selection of stuff like nuts/bolts, plumbing, outdoor tools, kids toys, camping, etc. And waaaaay closer than the big box stores. I will be shopping here for all of my home needs when i can. Oh, did i mention the staff is incredibly helpful yet not clingy and creepy? Highly recommend. Please help keep places like this in business!
