Went into this location on yesterday at 12:30pm, upon entering we were greeted by no one. The first young lady I saw I spoke to and she barely muttered anything back. I saw a manager as what I assume watching my mother and I and she did not speak. I then walked to the back of the store to locate the brooms and my mom went to look for cleaning supplies. I did not see the size broom I needed so I met up with my mom back in the aisle to let her know I did not find what I needed. That is when I noticed that the manager had moved closer to us and was watching my mom from head to toe as my mom placed her own reading glasses back in her purse. As we headed towards the exit, I noticed this same lady following us to the exit and she stood there and watched as we left again staring my mom up and down. The level of customer service at this location is piss poor. From not speaking to following us as if we were thieves is unacceptable. I barely come to this location, only if I’m heading to the farmer’s market but management should do a customer service refresher for their team. I will not be returning.

Great selection of items, friendly staff and great customer service. They had everything I needed, the shelves were fully stocked and my cashier was very helpful in helping me find products that I could not find myself. I highly recommend Family Dollar to anyone looking to purchase every day items at a great price. They have plenty of locations and a great selection of products to choose from. I also liked how clean this location was, a lot of times there is a lot of clutter in the aisles from stock being out whether it be open or empty boxes, carts or other products being stocked but this location was very clear and open which is a huge plus when it comes to my shopping experiences because I like being able to shop around unobstructed and this store provided that experience that I was looking for, therefore I give them a 5 star rating and high praises in regards to the service I received and the items the had available to me, preventing me from having to make another stop somewhere else at another retail store. They also reload prepaid debit cards which is a huge convenience for me so I don’t have to stop at a bank to deposit cash into my accounts, overall a great experience and I would recommend to everyone looking for a one stop shop that will provide you with your basic necessities and provide convenience at a unbeatable price and value. I gave this store location in particular a 5 star rating based off the cleanliness of the store and the warm welcome and attentiveness of the cashier from whom I received service from and also for the availability of in stock items that I needed.

If your store hours are 8am-9pm, then stay open until 9pm. Don't already have your doors locked at 8:54pm. And that's just the time I arrived. No one can say for sure how long before that they were actually locked.Updated-5/31/2018I don't like giving non flattering reviews so I tried coming back hoping for a better experience. It didn't happen.I called this store to see if they had some particular items in stock. No one answered the phone. I called 8 times with no answer. The reason I knew to call is because a month ago, I was looking for a variety of Little Debbie's products. The shelves and displays were totally bare. I was told by the associate the delivery man hadn't delivered to the store in months. He refused to deliver to them even though he happily delivers to others. And there was nothing they could do about it. What? Since when does a store pay for items and just does nothing about not receiving said items?There have been other situations in this store that confirm now 1 star rating.

It is a new store, well stocked the prices seem higher than regular stores but it's completely worth it because it's close by and has almost everything needed. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The parking is sufficient with wheelchair access and two entries and exists. Good for quick trips when you run out of something!

This location is fairly new and already headed downhill. First of all the parking lot is trashed out. Inside is disorganized & crammed packed with old inventory and carts crowding the isles. It’s almost impossible to push a cart through this store. The service is just ok the older lady at the counter could be a little nicer to customers. I purchased picture frames (&other bigger items) and had to ask for a bag . Umm ok then the lady was bothered that I asked for a bag ? Weird. Clean this place up otherwise they have pretty good selections of things to be a neighborhood store.

Horrible customer service. There is a rude worker there named Victoria she wears glasses and has dreads. My son is 3 and had to use the restroom so we go wait by the restrooms. The men's says out of order and the women's say no public restrooms so I'm thinking it means non-customers since we were actually buying things so we still waited. The worker Victoria took a long time to come out the restroom and when she did she looked at me up and down and walked past us. We tried to open the restroom door it was locked. So I said "Excuse Me, how do we get in the restroom?" She was already half way down the aisle. She says "it's no public wash rooms" with a attitude so I said "customers can't use it?" She repeated herself again. So I'm thinking if she clearly seen us standing in the corner waiting by the restroom where one is out of order and the other is supposedly for employees how come she didn't tell us nicely that the bathroom was for employees only instead of walking right past us? We wasted 15 mins waiting for her to come out the bathroom to not be able to use it and get a attitude from her. Please hire better employees that actually care about guests.

Great spot for off-brand essentials. No alcohol. The fact they're only open til 9 is disappointing but there are other options nearby. The staff is amazing!

My experience was very devastating today. I purchase some Hostess Powder Sugar Donette Donuts they were expired. This store are stealing expired food. Donuts expired in Feb. I don't get an aplology are nothing. I want buy any food from them any more. The manager did not say one word.

Sign for buy one get on 1/5 off confusing must read the fine print but are also large signs posted everywhere buy one get one 1/2 off if its not then move the merchandise that's not buy one get one 1/5 off and post a price. When i point out to both associates in the store, they have nasty attitudes, but if im wrong then why pull the tag.. Its not my fault you put the sign up wrong its yours. I started to give back my whole order of $100.00 but then i would have wasted my time even coming here. That's ok that's my last dollar spent at this location and any other. Horrible customer service @3460 Ponce De Leon Avenue Scottdale, GA.. It deserves 0 stars
