We adopted our new dog, Otto about 10 days ago and the experience we had with Coastal Pet Rescue was just great from start to finish. Otto's foster mom Bonnie was responsive and so helpful and you could tell how much love and care he received in her home. And Carolyn, who handled the adoption for us was informative, thorough and caring and they made sure the processes went smoothly for us and for Otto. We feel very fortunate to have found this caring group of people and the newest member of our family. Otto is settling in nicely and getting along great with his new pal Fin.

I adopted my pup from Coast Pet Rescue. It’s been three years now and I’m happy with the decision I made. They were very detailed about Candie on the website and when I met her. The person keeping her let me visit more than once and told me all about her as she’s been living with them first hand. Great experience. My next pup will come from them.

Great adoption! The feewas acting paid for Me! I'm thrilled that Melissa &Her sweet mother helped me over and above the call of duty! They were just wonderful!Jackie is a muted calico! So unique and beautiful! funny and my baby! Dont know where I'd be with out her!She got a cat tree yesterday!I fell apart weeping today and she got so upset! I found the ashes of my first rescue from a litter in Bullstreet in 1993! My mothers writing just made my heart break! Willie died in May,30 of 09. My aunt, mommas sister was visiting at the time! They still live in Hawaii! We barely speak.

Such wonderful people that actually care about the dogs they rescue. We adopted Louie after seeing him online and in person at an event. He is such a great addition to our little family. I highly urge everyone to adopt not shop. The ladies at the rescue were amazing and you could tell they cared about our little guy.

If you're considering adopting a pet, I highly recommend CPR. They go through the rigors of ensuring that the animal you are adopting is a good fit for you and your family, as they want them to remain with you. It's a tireless effort, and I truly appreciate what they do. Carolyn Jannelle handled my adoption from start to finish, and I can tell that she does this volunteer work because she believes in it and that its making a difference in the world, which it is! My wife and I received our first rescue dog from this Dog Rescue. We are incredibly impressed with the staff, including the people who find the dogs in trouble and those who foster them in preparation for their forever homes. I have rescued 2 dogs from Rainbow Rescue. The staff was wonderful and their animals are very well taken care of. My experience was great. Please Rescue there are so many pets that need loving homes.

First time I called it was after 6pm, no answer, office was closed and I had to leave a message. The next morning, I called and left another message..after attemping my third call finally got through, spoke to a person that was suppose to call back at noon, but, there was no called back. Finally about 4pm someone called and was very helpful. By this time Oakland Island Animal Rescue had but me in contact with someone to come retrieve the bird, by the time he arrive, the bird had died.

Coastal Pet Rescue is a wonderful organization. I appreciate the fact that they have an application process and try to match potential adopters with the right dog. It's sad that so many people turn their pets over to CPR after only a short time of getting them because they realize it's more work than they thought. I adopted my beautiful princess, Sky, from here. She was a little over a year old at the time and I just immediately fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.Coastal pet rescue does an excellent job taking care of their animals as well as making sure that they go to homes who will provide wonderful care. Not only that, they also strive to find you and the animals life long companions.All animals come chipped, desexed, and vaccinated.They are a fantastic organization and I am glad that they provided quality care and standards for my baby before I found her.

We called twice on different days to try to set up an appointment and got no answer both times, so we thought we could try to set up an appointment in person. When we got there the lady was super rude for no reason. When answering the door there was no greeting, no smile just an angry look with a stern “can I help you” like we was doing her a huge disservice for wanting to try to adopt. We didn’t know that we couldn’t set up an appointment in person and I understand not being able to if that’s the policy, but the way she responded was so uncalled for and so rude even after we explained we had called twice with no answer. I would not go back and would not recommend if that’s the type of people they allow to work there.

They decided without meeting us and our current dog to not allow us to adopt a dog needing a home, due to our dog not being neutered. I feel this is not a fair way to help these dogs that are needing homes. I would hope they read this post and be more considerate to people wanting to adopt. They checked with our Vet and look at our home (online) and learned our dog was up to date on shots and is healthy and we have a nice home with a yard. Makes me sad that I could not help a dog.

Adopted a precious dog there 5 days ago - all of her paperwork was totally incorrect - brought her to my own vet the found out the following: instead of being only 2 years old, she was actually between 7-10 - she had eye degeneration, heart murmur, w/valve issues - they wanted her to be put on heart meds. I always have had dogs and just went through a heart breaking experience putting my own dog down - decided to keep this dog in spite of her issues. She woke this morning with a horrible cough and could barely walk - my vet said that this may happen. I had no choice but to bring her back to the shelter - I just could not go through this again. I realize that they may not have realized her age, but she had other issues in which they disclosed, none life threatening - they should have been up front. Will never adopt them them again.

Just met the Organization at grand opening of DOGley Station. Got to hold "Chadwick" who is for adoption. Sweetest dog ever! Wish I could take him home, but I already have two. If you have lots of love and attention to give, this is the dog for you! He loves to cuddle!
