I went in yesterday and I absolutely love this store. The two workers Madison and Dre are so helpful and always smiling. The only reason I can’t give a 5 star is because of the manager April, she’s just flat out rude!

Petco has a faulty online order/pick up system. I ordered a bag of my dogs food, went to pick it up, and when I got home I realized it was the wrong kind. My husband spent an hour and took the $75 bag of food back to get the right food and the customer service claimed I had ordered the wrong food. He showed them the receipt that I had ordered the correct food and explained they gave us the wrong food when I picked up. They insinuated that their system is complicated and I must have been confused ordering because their system showed the incorrect food ordered with no apology. I still have the receipt for the order, “your order is ready”, and “your order has been picked up” all showing the correct food. We ended up exchanging for the correct food in the end but the whole ordeal took a lot of time for what is supposed to be a hassle free process, and the customer service was unprofessional and accusatory. While petco would be a convenient method for me to order my dogs food, I won’t be using this store, or petco again.

I was w/my neighbor yesterday 19 Nov 2023 @ the Sandy Springs office during a sad end of Life visit for his Yorkshire Terrier!I was totally impressed & amazed with the Level of Excellent service received!(The Special Dog was 10 years old) . We had all watched over himDuring his Dr Davis Care since he was 7 week old Pup!If any of U need a vet I highly recommend vet Dr Davis + his assistant Vet Cupertina & their assistant Augeni.Thank You Petco Team.

Five stars because of the staffs knowledge and time they take to help their customers. We recently went to Petco in Sandy Springs for help with our cat's food and April was on her way out and off work but talked with us at length about different food for a cat that had multiple issues. She also helped us use Vital better and explained a few things we didn't notice. Her help was invaluable and at a time we needed it the most. It would be helpful to carry different vet prescribed food that is hard to get at the store. We need PD and PR. Thank you for being that store that started to carry quality food and stop carrying food that is toxic to our pets.

The groomers are The best! But newest manger is a putz! My dog is older and after 12yrs of being loyal the manger calls to tell me 2 days later My dog is too old and “ I need a private session.” So now i’ve been fired as a customer. How about offering a solution, i’ll pay for two groomers. Get rid of this guy, y’all are better than him. Carol and Sonny are the best! I’ve been taking my 65 pound pitbull/aussie mix here for over 12yrs and they always do a great job. We were running late and they stayed until we got there. Thank you we will keep coming back. keep up the great work but get rid of that new manager.

Clean, well organized, and had everything I needed. Nice clearance toy selection. Beautiful displays. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Loved the camping display and Halloween display.

This is my absolute favorite of all the Petco locations. April, Dre, Cheyenne, Jeff, Jo and anyone I left out I apologize. I literally shop here at least 3 to 4 times per week. My two boys tear up a lot of toys and eat even more!

If I could leave 0 stars i would. I took my bichon with a puppy afro and fluffy ears in for a haircut. He had some matting on his butt but everywhere else was fine. When arriving the groomer said his head and ears were matted and I said no they weren't so another man came and showed the groomer that the comb would easily go through the hair and to do what I asked. Upon pickup his whole head has been shaved but still had some straggling long hairs. He looks like a rat. Horrible horrible horrible. They said they have photos of his matting but when I asked to see them they refused... bc he wasn't matted anywhere except his butt which I'd mostly dematted before bringing him in. Avoid this grooming service.

1000/10 RUN TO THIS VET!now I know what most are thinking it's a vet that's attached to a petco BUT MAN WERE THEY ALL ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY AMAZING. From start to finish, making the appointment to the actual treatment; They were caring and compassionate not only to my babies but to me as well; and I think I was more anxious and scared of the whole prosses then my cats were. Me and my babies all left feeling SO MUCH better. Thank you

This is by far one of the worst Petco's I have visited. If I could give this review for the store and management a zero star review I would. I notice how this store has fake reviews so that they can try to keep their ratings above four stars. This store does not care about their customer's or the customer's pets. The management hires and maintain incompetent employees. Also the management at this location can careless how their staff treats you.

I used to love coming to this store but it has gone downhill, maybe a change of management? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Very bad customer service, the cashier is always mad or something, my dog got her whiskers cut by a new groomer and I heard is a bad thing, she doesn't seem the same dog since her haircut. I'll be looking for another grooming place.

Had an amazing experience today with Vetco. My dog has a bad ear infection and I struggled to find a vet I could trust. The vet Tech, David, provided very useful information and tips. Dr. Hone was great as well. I was surprised how fast I was in and out. My dog had an exam, ear cleaning/ plucking, and prescription. Got some awesome discounts as well. Looking forward to visiting Petco more often!

Very nice store. Customer service is lacking. It’s something about walking into a store to spend your money and no one greets you. Then when you try to engage them with a greeting they don’t respond. The older male cashier didn’t/couldn’t even make eye contact with me. Super rude. Nice store though.

Reasonably good store overall, but if they approach you with the Vital Care Premiere discount program, make sure to read the fine print. You're locked into a monthly subscription. What I understood to be a single payment for a year ended up being a monthly charge. Petco refuses to cancel it for at least a year. $120 per year for a discount program? I wouldn't have signed up if I had known.

Petco has made a bad affiliation with wag. Do not use wag dog walking service they are an accident that is not only waiting to happen but has already happened! They send a parade a dog-walkers to your home who have never met your pet and when there are attacks that happened they take no responsibility!

My dog and I were recently physically assaulted at this petco store 1729 that is located in Sandy Springs, GA by a groomer named Nate (Nathaniel A.) The manager on duty did nothing regarding the incident that occurred. Petco also has not done anything about the incident either. It is a disgrace and despicable how the company does not care about the well-being and safety of pets and customers by allowing an employee to put their hands on my dog and I. I was a loyal customer to Petco and to be treated like trash and disregard is absolutely unacceptable!

Worst groomer in town. I went there not only once and had issues all 4 times. The last time it was the worst time. They charged for service not provided. Nobody told me that they did not cut her nails or polished them as per request and payment provided. They also ask for tip before you even see your dog. They shaved my dog in several parts of her body as well.My dog was put in a cage and was super nervous when I picked her up. I will never bring my dog to this location again.
