Taking on three animals and two of them being strays was an adjustment. WCAH has been helpful in keeping the animals alive and healthy. Lots of visits and treatments were needed and all are doing well now.

Doc Cullens and the staff at Washington County Animal hospital are phenomenal! Our Gracie Mae got her shots updated and a thorough wash! The shots will last, but it's only a matter of time before she finds a mud hole and we will be back ... good thing the price is right!

The ENTIRE staff was so helpful and compassionate when we walked in at 11:45 on a Saturday with a kitten that had lost all feeling and function in her back end.They did not turn us away like the other places we tried to get treatment at. Dr. Cullen and his staff helped us with the difficult situation. We live an hour away but I would not hesitate to use them again.

Absolute excellence! The Doctor was wonderful with all three of my crazy dogs. He is obviously a greatly experienced Vet and is a wonderful person as well. There is a great bonus too: He and his son are both very talented musicians. His son has several CD's out and they are well worth hearing.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every employee there has never been anything less than kind and professional. The pricing is excellent and with 3 dogs and 4 cats, that is something that is hard to find. They are always so gentle with my animals and clearly love their jobs. I also boarded them here for their first time ever and I don’t have any complaints! I will recommend this place to anybody!

Dr Cullen is amazing, compassionate, knowledgeable and most of all he cares!! We had 4 animals for many years and he has taken such good care of them for the last 4 yrs. A week ago we had to make one of the hardest decisions in our lives. We had to put our beloved corgi to sleep and he met us at the clinic on his day off and was so nice to us. I could go on and on! His staff, Wes and front desk, are all so nice and compassionate as well!!I read a couple of the comments below about the prices being too high. These individuals obviously never had to take their pet anywhere else. Their prices are extremely reasonable! I am from FL and their prices down there for vet services are 10X the prices at Dr. Cullen.

Update, everything that happened under this is still true but we do love this place. They treat our pups as if they were theres and that means more than anything. So I am updating this to 5 stars.Previous rating.WCAH, they give great animal care. However, They gave our dog a rabies shot that he was not due for and charged us without even asking us before hand. We asked them if they needed his records before we boarded him and they said no. So, I'm a little upset about the extra charge and service that we did not request or authorize beforehand.

Overall staff is exceptionally Great, very kind and extremely professional make you feel like your neighbor next door and the Doc is Great too. He take the time to explain everything to you that he does and put it all in layman term so you understand it. Y’all keep up the Great work. I was referred by a friend and it was the best referral I have ever gotten.

Dr. Cullens is one of the best veterinarians I've ever used. I've taken my pets to him for the last 20 years. He and his staff have always been available and helpful. Most recently another local vet refused to see My 20 year old cat because she was too "wild." The next day Dr. Cullen's staff had no problems whatsoever examining and treating my senior cat. Their staff is extremely nice which means a lot when you have sick "babies." Definitely reassuring to have a vet you can count on and Trust.

Dr. Freddie Cullen, Wesley and all the others do more than what I expect..although the wait is sometimes a bit long but that is because they spend the required time with each customer and their pet(s). I am very pleased and would recommend this veterinarian business to anyone I know who may be seeking an animal hospital. I trust this Vet and feel like I have my pets in good hands while there with my pets during the visit or if I need to leave them.

I've used Dr. Freddie Cullens for more years than I can remember. He's very thorough and compassionate. He understands how much I love my furbabies and is very patient with my hundreds of questions. Wesley and office staff are also great to me. I live in Wrightsville but don't mind the short drive for professional help with people I trust! Freddie and Michelle are good people. I'd very definitely recommend them to everyone who cares about their pets!

The Dr Cullens is the most compassionate vet I've ever met. We have lived in Savannah, Sparta and now in Athens. We make the drive from Athens because it's worth our drive to know that our dogs are getting the best care possible. His staff is great. We appreciate all he has done for us, even when we were dealing with end of life issues with our precious Bailey.
