My senior kitty Smokey was deathly sick with an upper respiratory infection. Dr Megan said he needed to be hospitalized but I explained I really couldn’t afford that. She gave me an alternative option. She gave him some injections and fluids and sent us home with meds. It’s been over a week now and he is almost back to his normal self. Thank you for the great care & quick appointment! I recommend this facility.

We recently had to say goodbye to our 17 year old Bassett Bucky. We have never had so much kindness and compassion from the Doctors, Vet Techs & Office Staff. All of them deserve more than 5 Stars! They deserve 100 Stars! We love everyone and am so thankful for all they did for our precious boy.

We had to rush in with an emergency and of course it was a Friday evening. It was almost time for them to leave for the weekend when I came rushing through the doors, but they stayed and cared for our pet without hesitation. Our small dog had been attacked and I knew it was bad. I rushed in and handed him to a staff member as I exclaimed that he had been attacked by several dogs and they took it from there. The doctors and staff were very kind and supportive to us and very through with our pet. When a decision had to be made, the doctor and staff gave us all the information and support we needed to make the right decision for our pet and his quality of life after the attack he suffered. Our fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by love from us and a caring staff as he very calmly and peacefully crossed over. He was in no pain and no distress and that is all due to the loving people who truly care at Royston Animal Hospital.

My girl was pretty sick! The staff were so kind to us. Their care, concern and knowledge made me feel confident that she was at the best place possible! She was so relaxed and even kept pawing at the nurse so she'd keep petting her!🤣 I would highly recommend this place, Dr. Micheal Dean and the great staff that works there!

I have 8 rescue cat. So it can be difficult get them to the vet for there deworming and rabies. Royston animal hospital is always ready to help. They visit my home and make sure all my cats are well taken care of. 😊 it's great people like them that make what I do possible. Thank you so much! We love you!

Took our miniature schnauzer, Baby, for an emergency visit and the team was TERRIFIC!!!From the original visit through the hospital stay, they kept us updated on her status and took excellent care of her.Would highly recommend this facility and it's staff (including the veterinarian)!!!Baby is here with us to live a long, spoiled life due to their care. We have been coming here for nearly a decade. Their prices, service and products exceed any of the other veterinary clinics in the tri-country area. They have everything you need for your pets, at a very competitive low prices. The staff are very, very kind. They love to see our girls.I honestly can't say enough good stuff about this place. They go out of their way for us to the degree in which only people who understand the bond between humans and animals can. I thank all the staff and vets here, with special mention of Dr. Lord, for efforts in keeping my senior kitty as comfortable and as healthy as possible as she encounters aging-related health issues. 🐱Update: My sweet girl passed away, last year. Dr. Lord, at RAH, fought valiantly to help her but there was not much that could be done, due to the specific nature of the disease.2023 was a rough year for us, all around. No one should have to spend the holidays nursing a suffering animal companion, then having them die in your arms. It sucks. We made a memorial for her. I recently moved to the area and my poor little dog, Tucker, became very sick. I called Royston Animal Hospital and got in the same day. Dr. Yetzina and Tech Haley were amazing! They treated my little guy, who ended up having a terrible stomach bug, so sweet and with such care. They were professional, knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns. I have recently moved to area and have a small farm with horses, mini Jersey cows, Nigerian Drawfs, chickens, cats and a dog so I needed a good Veterinarian service. Dr Wanda, Dr Bruce and Dr Noah have twice now provided excellent service and very fair price. I can not say enough good about Dr Wanda during and emergency situation!!!! I was loosing it and she was so calm and kind to the poor calf!Dr Bruce and Dr Noah cane to check my cows and we’re very down to earth and had great advise!I am so very thankful for their kindnesses and services!

10/12/23 I found 2 baby kittens under the window of our home not our kittens. 1 had been killed and the other is tiny with matted eyes and very swollen. We are new to this area and my Vet is 1 1/2 hrs away so decided to try Royston Animal Hospital because the neighborhood recommended them.Took the kitten to them the Vet Tech cleaned out the eyes and then the Veterinarian came in to the room I told him this is a kitten I found and was trying to get it some help. 20 minutes later I am at the desk paying $162.22 for trying to be a good person and trying to save the eyes and life of this kitten.Veterinary visit1 examination /Comprehensive $55.001 Clavamox/ClavacillinDrops15 ml$46.073 Sucralfate 1Gm $15.001 Erthromycin Opth Oint. . $26.501 Serum #422941$12.64Total charges $162.22Took kitten home applied all medication and spilled the Serum. Called Royston Animal Hospital told them I had spilled the serum was told they couldn’t get me anymore Serum until the next morning which was Saturday but it would be ready Saturday morning. Called them prior to going to pick up the serum and was told they were getting it ready. Went 20 later to pick up the serum and a totally different medication was there waiting for me to pick up. Another charge Sentrx Ocular Gel $31.20.I was very upset asked to speak to a Vet he came out I told him all that had happened and that I was told the original Serum prescribed would be ready. He said they had none even though I was told that they did 20 min prior and also the day before when I had called.It’s sad to say that finding a stray kitten and trying to save its life cost $200.00 for trying to do the right thing. It’s no wonder so many animals are without Veterinary Care and people can’t afford to take sick or wounded animals to the Vet.We are new to the Royston area and have horses, Yorkie’s and Dachshund’s. I will not use Royston Animal Hospital again and will tell others how expensive they are.It’s a sad state when places charge prices like this for animals found. Shame on you Royston Animal Hospital…😢

Our pup started having seizures during the weekend so I was on the phone as soon as RAH opened this morning. They worked her in at 9:30, warning that we may have to wait. By 10:00 they had her back. She suffers from severe anxiety and is very uncooperative so they have to sedate her to draw for bloodwork and do an exam, which takes even more time out of their busy schedule. We were there until past 12 and everyone, as they always are, never lost patience with our Bella or our questions even though they were having to work on Bella down on the floor. And sweet Ashley even noticed that her nails needed trimming and did that right before we left. Compassionate and top notch crew! Couldn’t be more satisfied with their care.

Friendly staff, wonderful with our neutering experience. Prices for vet visits are a little on the high end an it does make it hard to get the animals seen on a regular basis for all the shots and stuff with puppies needing like 5 sets of shots over the first 18 months.

Absolutely fantastic vets work here! My husband and I have brought all six of our dogs and our cat to Royston Animal Hospital for several years now and we have never had a bad experience. They are very responsive whenever we have had any emergencies pop up and are always so caring. Most recently, our boy Bear (in the picture while we were at the hospital below) didn't feel well so we brought him in, but they perked him right up! Excellent clinic and always reasonable with cost

Would not recommend. Fixed my German Shepard and she had periods again. A piece of tissue remained they were to go in and locate the tissue. They used another procedure (tacking up the stomach) as a reason to charge me for the surgery. This was not discussed with me prior to the surgery, it was written on the pre auth I signed using other words which I thought were related to the teeth surgery. The dog also needed surgery on her teeth while under and this did not happen however a report was given after surgery that the teeth were removed.I ask why they tacked the stomach and they said they always do this in larger dogs when they are spayed. This was not offered at the original surgery. Very poor handling of my dog and the creative billing surprises.

Been going here for approximately 20years now. We have German Shepherds, currently 3 and the amazing team at Royston Animal Hospital have never hesitated with them. My dogs will not go with just anyone, but they do let the staff take them back to weigh in without us. To me, that’s the best compliment I can give them…My dogs trust them.

We have used Royston Animal Hospital for many years! We love them! This particular visit they were awesome at clipping Belle’s nails for the first time ever! She is 9 years old and not as mobile so she needed a trim. They also helped me get her back in the back of my truck! She weighs 93 pounds with joint issues in he hips.

Sophia, my 11 year old Yorkie-Poo, had an appt for a dental cleaning. While doing the blood work, it was discovered that she was having an issue with her kidneys. We have changed her diet and started her on medication and educated me on better ways to feed her. I had NO IDEA that there is a limit to the amount of protein that a dog should have. And bacon is one of the worst offenders - especially if it's every morning a piece here and there. I was devastated. The doctors were wonderful in helping me to understand the situation better. Sophia was raised from a pup with 3 older cats. She would eat their dry food whenever she could - I didn't know that cats need more protein than dogs! Thank you Royston Animal Hospital for helping me to love my pup better through education and also for catching this when you did so I can have her with me as long as possible.

I love Roysten Animal Hospital there always so good with Major (he is a rescue that has some health issues) but thanks to the people at Roysten Animal Hospital for being so great with my fur baby and with me and understand any concerns I have.The picture on the left is when I first got Major The two on the right are as of today.
