The pharmacy knew the day before if they could fill my meds to tell me the next day they are out of stock. Now it being the weekend I'll have to wait until Monday before I can get my meds. I will be on day 3 without my meds all because of someone not caring. FAST FORWARD 2 YEARS LATER This drugstore has continued to get worse. The prices have sky 🚀 they hardly keep medicine in stock. They are short staff, to I honestly do not know how they manage to keep the pharmacy to regulations. After New Year's, I'm changing. I think everyone gets the point with what I'm saying

About a month ago me and my wife switched all of our medications from CVS on Shorter to the Walgreens on Martha Berry. I only regret that we didn't switch a long time ago. The whole experience at Walgreens is so much easier and better. The staff there are very polite and friendly, and very professional. If you still do business at CVS, I promise that you'll be more satisfied with Walgreens.

If you drop off a package at this Walgreens for FedEx, make sure they send you a confirmation text or email to prove the Walgreens customer service person scanned the package. Don't leave until you get the confirmation text/email. The last package I dropped off mysteriously vanished. Could have been a customer since the packages sit right out in the open. FedEx never got the package.

Pharmacy employee is absolutely disrespectful, rude & refused to tell me if the prescription was filled via phone, had to drive across town just for them to deny they even had it, then once drs verified they had in fact received it the day prior, after 2 trips going up there being told it wasn’t there, they suddenly had it but refused to fill it because my insurance card has both my married and maiden name while the prescription only has married name. I’ve been using this pharmacy for over 3 years, same med, same dr, same insurance and now it’s an issue. I’ll take the advice from their rude employee and find another pharmacy! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!! Mental health is important and these people will laugh in your face about it!

I've literally never visited a pharmacy as disorganized, slow, and rude as this one. I was hoping that getting a notification that my prescription is filled and then waiting in line for 30+ minutes to get it only to be told it's not was a fluke. Unfortunately, that each experience I have with them. If possible, use a local pharmacy where taking care of people is more personal and prioritized.

Rudest Pharmacy person I have ever encountered!!!!I am a Medical Professional and we are all in this together. The lady that took my call for a Covid Result for a patient that has been Hospitalized (Transfer of Care) was rude after a 34 minute wait on hold and 6 minutes of how busy SHE is SHE refused to provide these test results. I will never go here personally. Thank the Lord I use CVS. No matter how busy they are NEVER rude. I had to mark a star to post otherwise I wouldn't have marked any of them.

I had to go back and change my review from five Stars to one star. Today is the second time I've tried to call in a prescription refill using the automatic service and my refill number and it will not let me refill it. It says I'll get you to someone who can help and I get hung up on. I have been hung up on six times today and I cannot get through. It's really frustrating. I'm going to have to drive up to the store 45 minutes away just to put in for a refill because it's impossible to call.

The pharmacist (Joanne) was extremely helpful today. I wanted to return a generic medication and start back on the name brand due to some side effects. There was only one pharmacist on duty but she took the time to personally handle my issue and had me 100% satisfied in less than 10 minutes. Outstanding job!

I went yesterday to grab something on sale. The assistant Manager Mark was amazing! not only did he go to the back to see if there were any of that product in the back left but he called around to other stores to help me find it. He also helped with a digital coupon that wasn't coming off. He said "I just want you to leave here happy" and I really feel like he did everything possible to make that happen. He is a valuable part of the customer service there that has been lacking for years now. I usually put this store as having the worst customer service I've ever seen but he changed my mind. I still cant stand the pharmacy but I will always go back for products as long as he is there. Thank you Mark for being amazing to me!

The pharmacist found my wife's prescription that my insurance would not pay for. And when I had a FedEx package to return, whoever the female clerk was was stellar for anticipating my needs. I cannot understand why everyone is giving this place a bad reputation???

Walgreens will give you an appointment tocheck-in to get your vaccine but what they neglect to tell you is that it out need to wait an hour plus to actually get the shot after you check in. SERIOUSLY!!! Go somewhere else. Not worth the time. Floyd medical and Publix have better service than this.

Sat in drive thru for more than 20 minutes because they were refilling someone's prescription. They are not supposed to do that. They are supposed to have them go back around because some of us are not able to come in. I am still sitting here waiting. I called and the pharmacy is the one who told me that they were refilling scripts for the car three cars in front of me....ugh😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠

The pharmacy is extremely slow, I've stood at the counter and waited with no one around me for quite a bit before. I have encountered unprofessionalisn through the pharmacy I didn't care for and my prescriptions didn't include any of the medications that are sometimes met with judgement/assumptions. Their prices are extremely high compared to other places. Even if they accepted my insurance I wouldnt be a consistent customer.

I have been under pain management for 4 years and have always filled my prescriptions at Walgreens. I travel as my work requires me to. I have used several Walgreens in several states, but this year I have been been filling all my prescriptions at the Rome Georgia location. Last Tuesday, 11/18/2014 I had sever pain caused by a 9mm+ kidney stone. My kidney was trying to pass the stone and had I not went to the emergency room at Redmond Hospital my kidney, that was stopped up by the stone would have poisoned the kidney and killed it. On a scale of 1-10 my pain level was a 10! Normal pain level from lower back issues and a 50% tear in my right supraspinatus.and bursitis , arthritis, and tendinitis in both shoulders. Because of my kidney problem I have never been in as sever pain for as long a period of time. I had to have surgery to install a stint last Tuesday as I had been taking aspirin and the lithotripsy would cause too much bleeding! I went to my pain doctor yesterday and he wrote the same prescription I have been getting filled at the Walgreens for several months. I have never been in need of pain medication as I was yesterday Monday 11/24/2014. I had surgery today 11/25/2014. Because I was having surgery today, I could not take aspirin, ibuprofen or any other over the counter pain killers or they would thin my blood and my surgery would again have to be rescheduled! I waited for 1 hour at the Walgreens in Rome Georgia as every one behind me had picked up their prescriptions and left. Then the young female pharmacist,' Katie Lubski, who has filled the same prescription before said she would not fill my prescription because she didn't feel good about filling it!!! At this point I had less than 2 hours to fill my prescription and almost didn't get it done on time as all prescriptions have to be confirmed by my doctor! My scheduled surgery was 10am this morning and had I not got my prescription filled at the very last moment, I would have had to check myself into the hospital! Katie Lubski just wasn't feeling it! I called the manager Robert Pontiff and he assured me he would talk to the Katie Lubeski to see what the problems was, or why she wasn't feeling it, and get right back with me and took my phone number. He never called back. The good news is I got my prescription filled at another pharmacy and found out the were raping me on the price. Even with the discount card I purchased for $20.00, I was still paying three time what I should have been paying. I have never in my life seen a person like Katie Lubeski, who suppose to be a professional in her field be so incompetent as well as Robert Pontiff did not keep his word as he promised to find out why Katie Lubeski wasn't feeling it, to fill my prescription. My doctor has been practicing law since the 60's and has a unblemished record and has always showed nothing short of absolute professionalism! Walgreens has moved their headquarters over seas to avoid paying tax's in the USA and we should not use them for this reason alone!

Worst pharmacy in Rome! I thought having the app and having things filled without having to call or swing by would speed up the process. Boy was I wrong. Seems like it takes three times as long and the staff acts like they are above everyone. They never seem to get ahold of my doctor and the actual pharmacist always seems lost, with very poor time management skills. I will be pulling all of my prescriptions as soon as possible!

One of my perscriptions required pre-authorization, however I had been getting it filled at another pharmacy with no problems. It has been a month and no one from the pharmacy ever contacted me. Now I have to go pick it up in person. Would have been nice to have know earlier than to have to be with out my meds for a month!

Need a script? Good luck calling it in. Tried connecting to pharmacy, on hold for 6 minutes before having up. Called back and automated system directed me to "something else." .Greeted by a customer service representative who advised me to hang up and try again after i asked if I could just order through an auto system. Called back, got directed back to the pharmacy and was on hold for seveninutes before hanging up. This at 9:30 at night

totally agree, awul pharmacy. I had a m/c gift card I had gotten at a Christmas party for work the day before and I was going to use it to pay for part of my prescription. i needed to use a phone to call the number on my card to get the available balance .The woman at the photo where the public can use the phone would hand me the phone and dial herself and then wouldn't let me confirm or press anything for me , she just kept turning her head and saying "ive got to do this" while she did nothing except stare at something on the desk. All I needed was to use the phone to call the 800 number and hit a couple numbers and she wouldn't do it for me and wouldn't let me do it. I was dumbfounded so I just left her and tried someone else. the pharmacy counter. boy that was a mistake. this counter is like 4 or 5 early to mid 20s women that DO NOT smile, they sound like robots and this dark haired girl that was working w/ me was just plain rude and looked like she was literally about to throw the mouse down and stomp off at any sec. any request no matter how small was just a huuuge deal. im a 31 yr old male so not much is a big deal for me, I don't need much and require little assistance. if they would just move I could do it myself. that's not feasible so I just go w / the flow but this woman made it damn near impossible. I thought she might be sick or something and I said" you don't look so well" and she snarled and said "who, me?" I felt at any moment she was going to reject my service so I walked on egg shells. I wanted to punch her right in the damn face. ok ok I just lost all credibility w/ my review. the topic of hitting women will do that I guess, lo. im kdding. but this placed needs a redo. big time

Very rude associates they don’t want to help you find anything over the phone so you know if they have what you need in stock before you drive up there associate rudely said no she couldn’t look for me and it’s not because they are busy she said she wasn’t authorized to do that. I always shopped at Walgreens when I lived in Florida it was my go to store.. the associates in this store are always rude and now I shop somewhere else.
