Great little rural grocery store. Have just about every normal item you would expect in a local grocery store sparing you the trip to town. They do not sell alcohol due to the church across the street, I am sure. They have fresh to order pizza in addition to the grocery items on the shelves.

I bought a few things here on the 12th of October 2023 and this morning (the 14th) I was going to cook the sausage that they make in-house. I just happened to look at the sell by date and it was September 25. With a July 29th processing date!It's been sitting in the cooler for more than 2 weeks out of date.I'd not recommend buying meat here...the owner is too cheap to toss expired meat

Shannon grocery is a hidden gem and the selection is quite nice with both a huge variety of items plus prices that match & even beat big name stores. Staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. They also serve pizzas which are reasonably priced and very tasty. I like the fact that they carry almost anything i might want from Walmart without having to go to Walmart which in and of itself is a huge win when i not have to go to Walmart. They have also started having packages of meats for reasonable prices. So go by check them out and have them make you a pizza to go while you peruse the many options available.

Just a simple little country store fresh cut meat fresh vegetables, saves you a drive to Walmart or Kroger $6 for honey mustard Kraft $3 at the Dollar store

They really don't have much of a product line... And I think expensive... But don't make plans to go buy chicken especially if you do not like legs and thighs... Apparently that's all they have other than stripes or tenders... I'm not a fan of legs and thighs ... Requested a refund or exchange and they do not do either

Great local little grocery store. I've stopped here many times. Staff here is always friendly and nice. Always ask how my days goin and just chat. I enjoy the local/small town feeling you get from this place. The can also fix phones and tablets here. The sell freshly made pizzas here too. This is kinda like a one stop shop for many items. I recommend this place to many people.

This, to me is a nice little country store that has just about anything you'd need, including a cell phone repair service. Great prices, especially in the meat section, friendly staff that offer great assistance when you need it. They also accept EBT. 5 stars!

This place is like stepping backwards in time. Reminds me of the place my grandparents shopped at. They keep most popular items on hand and in stock. If there is something you are wanting and they don't have it, they can generally get it for you too. Meats and produce always appear fresh, as does the frozen section. Large selection of tobacco supplies, CBD, and Kratom. Phone repair service is also available. Hunt Brothers Pizza is made to order as well. They always have bagged ice and propane tank exchange available. Recently added air for tire inflation for $2 per use. Friendly staff and they are open daily from 7am-10pm.

It is very small but efficient. They carry name brand groceries like Mayfield, Kraft, Jolly Green Giant. Good selection of sandwich bread and chips. Surprisingly, they have a cell phone counter that sell used & unlocked phones for about 1/3 the price compared to new. Nice staff. Only grocery store in Shannon.

Best meat ever! I would not get it anywhere else. Don't ever change your meats! Shannon groceries has most anything you need. Some prices might be a tad high but not bad. Friendly staff.

Good place to buy meat. You can always come across something to throw on the grill at a deal! Something else, if your in need of last minute or anytime, a state license to legally hunt or fish you can purchase both in store.

We shop at shannon grocery everyday of the week for the last 5 years and the staff is amazing the owner we have respect for I returned some steak that I didnt like and every since the owner hasnt been very happy on my family and myself which could be settled if he had respect. For his loyal family customers. love the man to death just disappointed I reccomend this grocery store to everyone it is a family owned and very respectful company

Very nice down home grocery store packed full of every item any big chain grocery sells. If you need just a gallon of milk or a month's supply of food for the deep freeze. Shannon grocery is the place to shop.Along with groceries they are also a certified cellular phone dealership, that includes the purchase and activation of Verizon phones & other services. Thanks Shannon grocery for meeting the area peoples needs and more!

I bought my son a phone and paid $400 for it, which it never worked correct! So we took the phone back and the guy who works up there shipped it off to be fixed which took over two weeks. That cost an extra $80 which I didn't have to pay for but when we finally got the phone back it was still was messed up just like it was when we first bought it. The Man up there only gave my son and I $100 back for the phone which cost us over $400 after taxes. They don't mind screwing people over. Then my son bought the wrong Straight Talk phone card for me, he got the $30 instead of the $45, I sent him back for a refund and they only refunded me exactly $30. It almost cost me $35 for the card with fees and taxes. They rip people off royally!

Okay place if nothing else is available. High prices and poor selection. Great meats, but over priced. Also check dates on shelf items. They will leave out of date foods on shelves hoping to sell.

Today (12/19/2017) a very good friend of mine who is a Gulf War Veteran with PTSD and has a certified service dog went to the Shannon Grocery and was told by the owner that he had to leave because he had his service dog with him in the store. Not only is that discrimination but it is also against the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)law. Now not only did he lose him and his girlfriend as a customer but also lost my wife and myself as a customer that will never do business there again.
