Dr. Todd is the BEST. He was very compassionate and kind to me and my cat. He made sure I understood everything he was saying and he didn't make me feel like he was only there to get paid. He really carded for my cat and my feelings. I appreciate the staff as well for being patient and caring. I will definitely be bring my other animals there.

Our 10 1/2 yo dachshund, Ruby, has been having orthopedic and liver and gall bladder issues. Last week as I was in tears over possible bad news, Spencer and Kimber were so compassionate with the tissues and kind words. Dr Todd called a couple of days later to check on her. I appreciate the care and time. Ruby is my heart and soul and with others babies that we have had to say bye, Dr Todd just seems to know when it’s time. Though we think Ruby has more years ahead, I trust he will know with her too. God bless the whole staff and thank you for loving our babies. Special shout out to Dr Granville for assisting with the ultrasound and giving another perspective. ❤️🐾

I honestly cannot see how this clinic has good reviews. These were the most cold, apathetic, uncaring vet “professionals” that I have ever encountered in my life. From the person who answered the phone to assist with making an appointment, to the customer service at the front desk upon check in, to the tech, to the doctor. Not one caring or compassionate person did I encounter.

Wonderful people who love animals & will go to any length to make sure you're babies are healthy! Doctors are fantastic and do not clean out your pockets to get money for unnecessary things, reasonable prices & make sure you pay for what you need! I drive an hour & 20 minutes round trip for appointments & just to get meds most of the time because it makes the difference!! 😊🐕‍ 💗

My girlfriend visited 3 separate times to find a scratch on my dogs eye. I told them on the first visit that she was attacked by a dog and she was never tested for that specific wound. They were insistent she had an eye ulcer (a dot she has had her entire life) and treated her 2 separate times for that. They then recommended we find an eye specialists. WE found the wound and the eye specialists told us not to waste the money and take her back to our vet. 3rd visit they finally listened, after checking the wrong eye first. Staff was super unprofessional and dismissed what I had to say. I feel like I was annoying them by coming back so many times. I just wanted to help my dog feel better. She is family. I wasted so much money on treatments that didn't even help my dog. I will be finding a different vet, I recommend you do the same.

Dr. White and Dr. Todd both expected my baby wouldn't make it. He was extremely critical after a 4 day adventure when I took him there with a punctured lung. They did everything possible to save him. I am happy to report that he is getting stronger by the day and doing well! Thank you all SO much!!

The star was only added due to not being able to write a review without selecting at least one. This is hands down worst experience we've had with a vet, ever! Our dog had broken his leg on a Sunday, so we had to pay an emergency vet to splint it until the next day, which is when we made the mistake of coming here. Their advice was to either pay an orthopedic surgeon in Tennesee ($7,000!) to operate, have his leg amputated ($1,800) or have our, less than one year old, puppy put to sleep. We couldn't afford 1800, much less 7,000& the 3rd was not an option. Long story short, we ended up going to the vet in summerville who put a more sturdy splint on and continued to do so every other week for the next 2½months. Without a single operation& no thanks to these people, our beloved Axel has made a complete recovery.

Doctor Todd is a very caring and loving veterinarian. We've been very happy with all of our experiences with this hospital. I also take my 87 year old MIL's dog and they really go out of their way to work with her.

The very best vet around here. They take the time to actually listen to the parent, and thoroughly check the animal out and figure out the problem. They are always nice, very professional and the best service. I'm so glad I started taking all of my babies here because I know they are in good hands.

I absolutely love this place! We have been going here for 2 years and both of our dogs have gone through pretty traumatic life-threatening issues. They have handled it with Grace and love and their prices are very fair. They always try to squeeze us in. If we have an emergency. I would highly recommend them

Five or six years ago I took my dog Milo to this animal hospital because he was having difficulty breathing they're very first suggestion was put him to sleep I didn't allow them to and he got better and just the other day I had to take him back again because of difficulty breathing and of course her first suggestion was put him to sleep they tried absolutely nothing to help him. I have used this vet clinic for more years than they care to know about it is very expensive anymore you can't hardly afford it and their help is very rude disrespectful and there's nothing friendly or happy about the place. I recommend steering clear of this location

Rather than just showing up in their office with a sick dog, I called to make sure they were open on a Saturday morning, like the hours on their website said. They were open. The receptionist listened as I told her my dog's condition. He isn't doing well since last night. She went and pulled his file, and supposedly talked with a veterinarian, and then declined to see my dog who is sick.What good is an "animal hospital" that refuses to see a patient when the patient is sick, and they're open?My dog is no longer a patient with the animal hospital that refuses to see him.

I am another (1) star review ... I took my poodle to these people about a month ago, and we was there around 45- minutes to an hour, they did 2 or 3 tests, gave him an antibiotic and something for pain and charged us almost $500... then on top of that when we got home, we was looking at the receipt and they ev3n charged us $25 for walking in! Well, we called back today to see if they'd give us a refill on his pain medication, and they said not unless we brought him back. My dog is very old, and we was just wanting something to make him comfortable, but she said they wouldn't give him a refill without the office visit! I'm sorry we just can't afford another $500 to tell us he's still hurting. I will NEVER BE BACK‼️

Dr. Todd and his staff at Mount Berry Animal Hospital were great! I took my puppy in for an ear infection, and they were able to get me in for an appointment that day. They were all very nice and answered any questions I had. The facility was clean and in very good shape. We will be bringing our Maggie girl here from now on :)

I am very appreciative to have a vet and veterinary staff who are as loving and kind to my animals as Mt Berry. We love Dr. Todd and Dr. White. And Rachel, the vet tech, is great too. We are kind of crazy dog parents and they have always taken extra time with us and been available and helpful for everything that we have needed. They have taken very good care of all three of our dogs. We unfortunately lost one of our three dogs this year and the staff was very good to us during that time. Dr. White met us at the clinic after hours and allowed me stay in the room as long as I needed to say goodbye to my sweet boy and so kindly gave me an imprint of his paws and his nose as a keepsake. They're just really love animals and take great care of your pets here🐶🐶🐶.

I've been impressed. They are very thorough and covered all bases. I'm involved with animal rescue and our group had them look at 8 dogs for one rescue. They didn't seem overwhelmed and were very friendly. Some vets seem annoyed when we have multiple dogs that need care. They were great in every aspect!

The staff was good. I had never seen that vet before. After my dog got all his shots. I asked bout neutering him. They quoted me a price almost $600.00.That is just outrageous. I don't know to many people that can afford to pay that. Yes my dog is my child. I care for him before I do my own self.Thank good My kids have paws that charge $70.Thank you My kids have paws!

Very kind and helpful. We had a pregnant feral cat show up at our place. When the kittens were old enough to be spayed/neutered, they got us in quickly. Even got us in the day we trapped the momma cat. Thanks for all your help Mount Berry Animal Hospital. All the cats are happy now

I am always skeptical of a new vet- because I have such a strong bond to dogs that if I raise a puppy: I CONSIDER IT MY CHILD(as though it was human)& the majority of human doctors are quacks*so after 3 months totaling 5 visits with a brand new puppy and from its 1st set of shots to its last; I am very satisfied. The reason I left my last vet is because you had to schedule appointments weeks in advance, sometimes months. With Mount Berry every appointment was able to be made next day and even 1 time the same day when I called early. And everyone knows how hectic it can be with a brand new pup~especially with a big breed. I missed 2 of the appointments and they never made 1 comment ti make me feel the slightest bit bad about it. They just scheduled it again and it was also within a couple of days. Staff is super friendly and courteous. And the 1st visit when he was checked for heartworms and given his 1st ever shot=the puppy didnt miss a lick! Ge had no clue the vet had done anything to him! That's a great veterinarian, as good as can get in my book*

Best vet in Rome. All my family dogs went here and my dogs will be coming here when I move back home. Everyone is so nice here.
