I love Lowes . They helped me tremendously through the years with lumber,flooring,electrical,plumbing and more . They showed me how to do pex . They helped with laminate. I bought a frig yesterday at the Rome store. The Ft Payne store has been awesome also. We tripled the value of our home with a 30000 dollar investment in material.

I gave it 1 star because you have no option for zero stars. I went into this store to buy a Washing Machine. Everything was great at that moment, they were going to deliver it the following Monday. However, then the order was canceled (for no reason) the reason that the Manager Mike gave me was it was not in stock. However upon checking it was in stock. He stated he would have his sales rep call me back to reprocess the order.. this did not happen. I waited 3 hours before calling back to speak with Mike I was told he was at lunch and his employee decided to tell me that it was Saturday and they were super busy and I needed to be patient. Totally upset me because they would not have had to deal with me if they had nor canceled my order. To this day neither Mike or his salesperson has returned my call. I will be shopping at Home Depot from now on...

Review:As a person with a disability, I expect basic accommodations in public spaces. Unfortunately, my recent visit to West Rome Lowe's left me frustrated. Despite requesting assistance and a motorized cart, neither the manager nor the young manager took action. Navigating the store's lumber department took an exhausting 35 minutes. It's disheartening to feel neglected and marginalized. I urge Lowe's to prioritize accessibility and sensitivity training for staff.

I wanted to buy a set of closet doors to be delivered. The only person that could do that was at lunch. I really just wanted to know how much the delivery was going to be ($79...yikes) so I went to customer service. The lady there was very helpful but ultimately I couldn't see paying $79 for this delivery. I could rent a moving van for less. Kudos to the customer service rep. I wish I knew her name.

I hate going in here due to hard to get help with most things, and they have gone to self check out at main cash registers. To get checked out by a person, you have to go to the professional checkout or to the garden center . If I want to self check out, I buy online and have things delivered to me. I understand they want to save in labor cost but have the employees that are there check you out instead of standing around talking to each other .

I have been a huge home depot shopper for going on 10 years. The last few years I've been increasing my shopping at lowes to about 20k a year. I had a bad experience. I reported it. Was put on long holds and hung up on at Rome store. I then tried to email corporate. I received some generic message. Orange it is for me!Highlights from my experience:I ordered $2,900 for a tiny project. Some items were shipped. Some were picked up. A tub was picked up at the Dalton store. It ended up being cracked. We ordered tub from Rome store. It was cracked. We ordered again and was sent the wrong tub. Then we ordered again and was sent the wrong tub. This time it was packaged incorrectly so not anyone local's fault.On another note, we received a $500 vanity delivered. It had major damage. We are not sure but it might have been a cover up. The damage was under sink and hard to spot but the sink was glued. Usually the are lose. We didn't notice issue until much of the installation had occurred. I am not paying a plumber twice so we are stuck with it.Home depot would have done more to make this right. We are pro customers and big spenders. Home Depot has always seemed to care about that. All customers should be valued but when someone spends a lot in the store extra steps should be taken to show that me choosing to spend my money in your store, when I have other options, is valued (when big mistakes are made). After the 4th tub not working out, I asked them to get someone to bring one out because the plumber was finished that day so if tub was not there I would have to hire another plumber and pay more. They said the couldn't oblige. They then said lowes doesn't have delivery drivers on Friday, only mon thru thurs. I called him out because I had spoken to the delivery driver earlier who was working that day and had been out to my house that morning for other lowes items we purchased on other big orders. The pro desk guy started making excuses and put me on hold at which point I was hung up on 10 minutes later.If you want to know what company is better go stand at lowes customer svc and then home depot customer svc. You will see much more disgruntled customers at lowes but don't take my word for it.Also Lowe's employee or manager please do not comment some generic junk on my review. This is posted for potential new customers and not to receive a condescending response from lowes. I posted it exactly as it happened so anything said contrary to what I stated will be a lie. No slick business practices please. The glued cabinet was enough!

I always shop at Lowe's for my hardware needs. In most cases I am able to find what I want or need. The sales staff are knowledgeable about their respective departments and very professional and friendly. A great experience always!!

I am done with Lowes. I have spent thousands of dollars at Lowes through out the years. Iam so ticked off I am closing my account. I bought Kobalt tools through out the years for there reputation and warranty. Wrong, first time Today I needed to bring back a Drill that I bought several years ago no problem right!!!Remember no hassle no recipient after all Kobalt is Lowes brand..no such luck, I noe needed a recipient..Guess the rest. Now it is principle not a $100 return. Tired of getting burned by the big guys.Stay away from one hard working person to another..

Can’t leave a bad review for a.o. Smith hit water heaters on there site they don’t care been emailing them for 3 years and have had enough. Me and 2 friends built new homes in 2020 and they have all leaked since day 1. Have to keep a bucket under them have caused mold and other issues. They were all professionally installed and they will not help at all. They are sorry and we thought we bought the best. Have plenty of videos and pictures also. It will not upload the vids of it constantly leaking

I bought 10 bags of Quikrete gravel. Some them were only half full. A rip off. I think I will go to Home Depot or Lavender Mountain Hardware from here on out. They shouldn't be selling bags that aren't full. They weren't torn open and taped. They came that way from Quikrete I believe. I won't buy Quikrete products anymore.

I walked in not even knowing what we needed but with a list from a contractor. Normally, it isn't easy to get help at retail places today. With that said, an employee named Justin wearing a Fidora hat spoke to me and asked if he could help me. Within seconds, he found what I needed, and was on his knees mulling through the inventory. He was fast, friendly, and courteous. He also seems to be a man of faith, and that was apparent in many different ways.Good job to this Lowes as well as whoever hired Justin, as he is one very sharp, professional, and blessed man.

I ordered kitchen cabinets had them delivered, all three cabinets were broken, also had a storm door installed when it rains all the water comes inside, I’ve had them come out several times the door is still leaking water. Lowe’s will not let you return items without a receipt never again will I shop Lowe’s

The people are great and I like Lowe's, but the process of checking myself out with a few nuts, bolts and washers today was painstaking and slow. I brought the item numbers in order to look them up like produce items are at a grocery store, but apparently that isn't allowed, and maybe for good reason. But it took numerous attempts and lots of effort with multiple associates to simply check out of the store with some metal stock and a dozen sets of hardware. I wasn't expecting to spend as much time or effort at the store that I did. Ugh.

Employees are not very knowledgeable and it's hard to find anyone in the departments to help. I was a Lowe's employee for 11 years and we were taught to actually know how to do things like plumbing and electrical etc. Plus we had to be in our departments to help everyone.What has happened to Lowes?

We buy I fridge 6 weeks ago, when they tried to deliver was a big dent on the fridge front door so the delivery guys take the fridge back and they said that they will call me the next day to deliver another fridge , they never call me back so I call them 3 days later to make sure that they will deliver a fridge in good conditions, for a second time they bring another fridge with a bigger dent so I just cancel the order, this is been a nightmare, I been calling and going to the store and speak with the “manager “ because the balance is still in my account for a fridge that I NEVER received, they always said that the balance will be out of my account in two days, buy is been 6 weeks and is still there, is any way that I can comunícate with someone able to help?

A big guy in appliance section did not want to answer any questions I had about washers. I felt like I was inconveniencing him by being there. If you’re going to do a job you might as well give some effort. I left and bought at a nearby small business, Appliance discount Outlet, and was very happy with the service I received. The lack of customer service led me to a better place so it all worked out in the end.

We are building a new home at the lake and order a lot of lighting supplies from Lowe’s. They lost our ceiling fans and had to reorder them. They don’t communicate with their customers very good on special order items. You will need to call them a lot to find out anything about your order. This is what we have to live with for any big box store. Zero customer service. 😩

I love this lowes for many reasons. Its a great store and the manager Jeremy is the best. He always greets me when I see him and treats everyone great. I would recommend this place to anyone as it is very clean and the people are very nice and helpful. Got a sweet grill thermometer.

The staff here is very helpful. I am a veteran and needed help in signing up for discounts that Lowes gives to us. Customer service did everything for me in helping me get verified on my mobile phone. I appreciate all the good service!

This is the worst store I have been to bad customer service and very bad wood they expect you to buy it is warped boards and awful customer service we needed 4 2x4 x8s the ones outside were all dried out and bent up we could not use them there was 4 inside that were all ready rejects that nobody wanted the guy did not offer to open up a new bundle I guess until those 4 were gone to bad had to buy 2x4x10 pressure treated to get decent boards. Y’all have to do better than that I walked 4 times down that isle and never saw the few till the 4th time. Seems like when one person goes to help one unload everyone else goes and helps also so no one is on the floor to help other customers do better Lowes I will not be back to your store I guess on a Saturday you have your d team working you do not deserve the 1 star I have you but to write this I had to give you something

Went to Lowes today to purchase a refrigerator and stove purchase would have been about 2700.00 but when we walked in no one would help us. We stood in the appliance section for about 45 minutes. Three associates walked passed us like we were not even there talking among themselves. We finally asked a young lady would she please page someone that take another 20 to 30 minutes. The same three gentlemen that passed us finally decided to assist us. We had question about delivery and carry out items. Was told that we could not purchase a clearance item and come back later with a truck to pick up on the next day. ????? Funny items had names and time of purchase on the sales floor . But I could not for the life of me understand if I purchased something that Lowes would have to deliver I would still have to wait next day or two to get it. So if I purchased something why could I have not picked it up the next day??????? Clearance or not.
