I visit this store often. It's clean and well stocked. They've always been very friendly to me and my son. Never had any problems with this store. But the one on Dean street needs to be shut down before someone gets robbed or killed over there!

I just seen this is for dollar general.I have not been in this store.But I have the app for dg and this is my favorite place to shop.Do is the best place to shop especially if you appreciate our troops and love this country that been a blessing to so many. I love dollar general. Again I've not been in this store but I'm sure it's as great as all the rest I've been in.It's pleasant... they have descent meals. Can be pricey as well as cost efficient. They have daily specials and it's clean. The ladies have been nice. If your very hungry come on in and have a sandwich and chips combo with some tasty tea.If it's cold and you need something warm then try the soup... I prefer the chicken and dumplings. I you prefer rabbit food they have a salad bar with fresh veggies from my experience. I have not tried the all you can eat bean bar but I've seen it advertised.All this at jdubs.Try it out.

It's very convenient being just up the road from my house. Stays pretty well stocked for the most part. usually get in and out pretty quick. Employees are very nice, helpful and even have a funny sense of humor...

I am a frequent customer at the Dollar General. My family was having a yard sale, and I came in to get a few things and get $20 back in three fives and five ones. Very simple request.Then, I met Ken. Ken decided to look me in the eye and dramatically inform me that the banks were closed, in reference to his drawer. He then pointed at his wrist watch and told me the banks closed at noon, I had 45 minutes and I "had better drive". I've worked customer service for six years, and never once have I made a big deal about breaking a $20 on a Saturday, and I certainly never belittled a customer like he did to me.In all my years, I've never had somebody in customer service be as openly rude to me as Ken was today. The other employees are very kind and considerate. Seek them out for help over Ken any day of the week and you'll have a wonderful experience.

Well as you know there's a Dollar General store on every corner but this one is closest to my home and is set up, or should I say layed out the simplest. Everything is conviently stocked so your not having to run from one end of the store to the other to find two things that match.

The dollar store is always two junked up. You can't get up and down the aisle. They need to work up one buggy before bringing out more, cause they never have enough people working to take care of more than one at a time

The store was great when it was first remodeled but now it is horrible. The store is the nastiest store I have ever been in. Every time I go in rather than be greeted as I come in all I hear from the time I go in until I leave the employees are complaining about management or other employees and they are rude! That has been every time I go! No customer service! I have never given a review for anything I don't complain. But this store needs someone to step up a do something. I can usually find what I need and it is convenient for me but this is turning me off as far as going there!

The manager makes it obvious he wants you to know he is gay right off the bat. He has an attitude like you owe him something. My wife simply asked if they would do a return and when he opened the bag he was all dramatic and said oh honey we don’t have clothes we have produce instead. We can’t do the return. First of all my wife isn’t your honey and second you need an attitude adjustment. The way he goes about addressing customers really needs to be fixed. He really puts on a show in a bad way and treats his employees really bad and rude. The girl at one register was doing all she could and he had to be dramatic about opening up a register to help like it was trouble for him. Corporate needs to do something before it’s too late.

Okay so I obviously don't know their pay, but DG needs to give Brandy a BIG raise. They might not have as much as larger stores 'in town' but you're on Cave Spring Road, so.. Brandy and Tina keep it as clean and in stock as possible. Way more than a few other stores in town before the pandemic. They do have pickup ordering here.

Went for FedEx services. Despite being listed as a place I can ship from on the website, they only allow drop-off of ready packages. They will not assist in packages that need the label printed.Came back and the process was fairly painless, the staff had just never done it before.

It was a good place at one time. Now most of the employees are rude, not helpful at all. Their hygiene is very poor. The item on sale are rarely the sale price that rings up, and if you correct them they are very ugly to you. They are also bad about not taking down the sale signs. Just poorly managed.

This DG is well ran and there is always a great deal on perishable items. The store is always clean and the associates are always ready to help you find something. This is the way a DG should look. A++

Not so friendly people at this location I hope someone was just having a bad day. Alot of the items on the shelf were not priced. Alot of people handing around the outside of the store. If my wife was alone she would not visit this location. Hope they make some changes.

Although writing a review for the good ol DG is a bit silly in my opinion, why the heck not. Here we go...It's Dollar General. Okay I will put more...They often have good deals on a few things I like. I mainly buy candy, drinks, cleaning products, cat food, and so on. Nothing special.Comments regarding this specific DG is that the staff was friendly. Greated me. Asked if I found everything I needed. Checked me out quickly and wished me a great day! All round a pretty good run to DG!Thanks!

Hard to find stuff, have to wait on cashier to come from back, two different times. I like the convenience of dollar general. But, this was not the case at this particular location.

Probably the most disorganized, nastiest, rudest Dollar General I've ever been to. They have a dog toy you squeeze​ when you need a cashier to check you out. Ten mins later you will be checked out.
