We gave our Gizmo a spa weekend and boarded him while we went out of town. He got a haircut. His fur was so soft, and he smelled great. I went to school and graduated with the owner Judy. They have always taken great care of my babies. Highly recommend.

We are new to the area and this place was recommended. When we got there, I was shocked about how bad the place smelled. When I picked my dog up she smelled like a dirty wet dog. Her coat had not been brushed and looked liked she had just been toweled off and left to dry. I will not be back.

Paid for service not received. Asked for our dog to have a bath and clip and nothing was done. He was in the same condition when we picked him up as when we dropped him off. This place is a complete rip off. Might as well just throw your money in the trash if you take your pets there.

Dropped my dog off to be groomed and de-shed. When I picked him up he smelled worse than when I dropped him off and had huge clumps of hair on him so when he got in the car and shook the whole car then got covered in hair. Paid $38 for them to trim his nails… my toddler even made a comment saying “why does he stink so bad?!”

I boarded my mini golden doodles for a weekThey were groomed today before we picked them upThey cut my white one almost to the skin and told me he was matted he was not matted when I left him his hair was fluffy I had brushed him just before I took them and around his tail was red and raw they said he came in like that but he did noI would think twice before your dog there for boarding and grooming I had to give one star so I could post but their the worst place I’ve ever used

Don’t take your dog here. When we got home my dog acted like he hadn’t had water his whole stay there. The Worst hair cut he’s ever had. It looks like someone inexperienced cut him because you can see missed streaks of hair and bunch of patches everywhere. Would not recommend. Could have done without the rude customer service too.

Fast service and good work on my Shih Tzu. My dog is 16 years old and they take special care to make her comfortable and safe from other dogs. They get her shampooed and cut in about an hour because she’s a senior dog. I recommend you take your dog to these wonderful folks.

They did a fair job grooming, not great but acceptable. I have always been charged $140 for grooming my two doodles. This time , without notice, I was charged $170. When I looked at my credit receipt it was $175.95. There was a $5.95 service charge added. When I asked about the fee I was told prices would increase each visit and they could not tell me what the charge would be, it depended. The facility smelled of urine and was covered with large amounts of dog fur. Overall, this was NOT a pleasant experience. I will not return under any circumstances.

Not as bad as some of the other reviews here, and Judy was very nice and apologetic on the phone. The young black girl up front who was new I think was also very nice. My issue is I dropped off my dog for a day of daycare and she returned covered in mud. When I picked her up even I tried to ask if she'd gotten wet (not a big deal she'll dry off soon and the car might smell bad for a bit) but the girl who handed her to me didn't say anything or explain that they had water in the back for the dogs. Again, Judy was very apologetic on the phone and said they normally hose off the dogs if they see something but they have 30-40 dogs out back. I guess you get what you pay for.

Terrible experience. I was quoted $190 for 10 nights for both my dogs. I asked for them to be bathed prior to pick up. I ended up picking them up 2 days earlier and paid $395. They apparently misquoted me over the phone for only my small dog, not my large dog. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they would have told me once I dropped both dogs off. But to be blind sided afterwards was extremely aggravating. And the cherry on top, my dogs now have kennel cough. I will not be using them to board ever again.

Have been very pleased with the grooming given to my dog Zeke. Whitney has always treated him kindly and has given him such a beautiful cut. He is now 13 and after years of coming here will continue as Whitney is just the best.

I love this place! They always take good care of my dog (Chester, long-haired Chihuahua). Everyone is very friendly, and you can tell they really love dogs here. They go above and beyond to keep my baby looking his best. I recommend them highly!

Excellent service! They genuinely care about your four-legged loved one. We always take our black Lab, Rusty, here. We have done so for years! As he has aged, they even take care of his medications when we board him for long periods. Just all-around tremendous people!

Don't take your dog (family member) here EVER!!!! My girl is a 7&1/2 month old, was taken to the veterinarian doctor on Monday and left with a clean bill of health, took her to this place Tuesday when I picked her up on Saturday she had yellowish/green thick mucus coming out her nose. I went to her veterinarian this morning (Tuesday) and now my girl has pneumonia! Was informed this is contracted from dog to dog.They tried to over charge me when I picked her up! I got 2 different prices for her nail trimming and they tried to say she came in on Monday when it was Tuesday. Then treated my as if I was lyiing about her check in day (which I wasn't) shotty booking on their part! (Dont trust them, question everything).When I called them Sunday after the pick up on Saturday to inform about my girl being sick, all I got was "if she isn't coughing then it's not kennel cough, it's not my place, your dog just isn't use to being outside"!!!!!!! #rudeness #dirty #terriblecare.

I never thought my dog would ever calm down and say care did the trick just like I was told. He actually lays down and relaxes on the trip back home. Great people. No aggression at all where before was very unstable with anyone except me. He loves the staff and so do I. Thank you.

My dog loves going here and we feel it is very affordable. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledge. They helped me try a harness on her and got it at a fair price. I'd recommend to anyone who's dog needs bathed, nails clipped, hair trimmed, or boarded.

I loved it. My first time bringing my puppy Blu. I know he enjoyed it. He loves everyone and other pets. Their professional did a fantastic job. He looks shinny and clean with his nails trimmed. I have used them for grooming and doggy day care, and I highly recommend both services. 11years ago I adopted the most hyperactive puppy I've ever had in my life. She completely shredded my house every single day while I was at work. Someone told me about their doggy day care when I was telling them I was at the end of my rope and ready to give up on a dog for the first time in my life. Dippity transformed my dog. It was so apparent that she played and exercised all day long as she would zonk out for a day and a half after a day at daycare, and the price was so affordable, she was also receiving basic obedience training that I wasnt charged for. She turned out to be the best dog after getting proper exercise and socialization. Well she got old and arthritic and quit needing day care, so I had not been there in about 7 years. I just got a new pup who I enrolled in their doggy day care as soon as he finished all his booster shots as he needs more exercise and socialization,than I can provide at home, so far, I'm just as impressed as I was the first time I used their day care. But what shocked me the most, is that their price was. Still the same! $10 a day is all it cost for a happy dog that didn't have to sit at home bored all day! And the only other place in town charges 3 times that amount. The staff are still as friendly and professional as they were years ago.

Dippity Do-Da Dogs in Rome is an awful place for dog baths. Specifically asked to not cut my dog's nails when I got the callback after leaving the usual message.I walk in and see my dog muzzled, crouching with a guy holding her and a woman trying to cut her nails. Woman then proceeds to slap my dog a few times and I went ballistic. Was told by one lady that they pat them on the head to distract and this definitely was not patting. Never..ever..go there again.

I’ve taken my dog here to get groomed for about 9 years now and I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience with them. The staff is friendly and the groomer always does a great job shaving down my dog. I live all the way in Lawrencville and I STILL make it a point to take my dog to them whenever I’m in town! I would highly recommend

These people are very nice and always made my dogs smell and look trim and nice. I actually adopted a dog from them that they had there who needed a home. She had been abandoned and spent the summer in a backyard. She was full of mats and bugs. They bathed and trimmed her and gave her to us, and we took her home on a trial basis and the lady from the shop called to check on her the next day. We took her for a vet checkup and got her shots and tags and she is doing really well. I think they truly love animals here. She has been a very good dog and companion to my dog for over a year now. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking my dogs here because the last two times I had them bathed and clipped, they got very sick. They were both throwing up and had diarrhea. My smaller dog is only 10 lbs and she lost three pounds so it was scary. I don’t know if it is the stress of all the commotion or separation anxiety... but I couldn’t afford to keep having them groomed and then having sick dogs. The vet bills for the anti-nausea shots and probiotic paste were over 300 for both of the times it happened. So I had to start doing their grooming at home. I would recommend this place for dogs that aren’t as sensitive. They seem to have good prices and genuinely care about the animals.

Horrible place. Worst hair cut ever. When i picked him up he was clumsy and seemed stoned. He was medicated without my permission. I read other reviews and several dogs died the night of or the day after from being over sedated. Run! Do not take you dog there. Dangerous place

I take my teacup Chihuahua to have her nails done. The staff is always very friendly and they handle my little girl with care. Their prices are very fair and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for boarding or grooming care for their 4 legged fur babies!

We recently took two of our older poodle mixes to Dippity Do Da Dogs when we couldn’t get in to our usual place. They did an absolutely amazing job. In this COVID-19 environment, they made me feel safe with their procedures. They even called me to ask a question as to how I preferred our Schnauzer mix to look. Very professional and our dogs came back stylin’ and super cute!
