They were not busy but pharmacist told it will take 30 minutes to get the prescription medicine which was just one eye drop.They were not busy so it took more then 1 hour for 2 pharmacists to give 1 eye drop .Well after 30 minutes I walked in the store and took some pics .Store and location is good but staff I don’t know why not quick with service.Due to staff I am giving 1 star otherwise it’s good store for self checkout.

While I appreciate the convenience of the self-checkout machines at your pharmacy, I have noticed some areas for improvement in the customer service aspect. During my recent visit, there seemed to be a lack of attention to customers waiting in line, as the staff member prioritized answering a phone call over assisting those in line. Ensuring that all customers feel acknowledged and valued, whether through more attentive staffing or better communication, would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Great service until today.Husband had surgery, needed antibiotics and narcos.I have my ID, it is paper as I’m waiting on hard copy. Paper ID worked last week, but not today, and imagine it’s because i confronted staff about hanging up on people before they can even say their name. Wouldn’t even let me have the antibiotics. That Part feels illegal. I understand you can’t get certain painkillers without an ID but I have a very real, very valid ID. Pathetic honestly. Horrible staff today 3/26 at 9-11 am. Avoid those hours.

Rude customer service over the phone. Called about insurance & not even 4 minutes into the conversation was told to call back if I didn’t have my information immediately on hand. (I wasn’t sure if they already had my information or not.) Was also hung up on. Horrible attitude, didn’t seem to want to help at all. If you hate the job so much, work elsewhere is all I can say. If my insurance covered medicine anywhere else close by, I wouldn’t go here. Customer service is terrible. 0 stars if it was optional.

Trans residents of rome - stay clear. I tried to get my sub Q needle tips and brought my script for T because other CVS locations have requested it as my doctor who mails my script only sends the syringes and drawing needles. I used to do IM but switched so my script hasnt updated. This is the only location that turned me down over what the vial says the needle size should be. I offered to show the conversation on my health app with my doctor about the needle size update but the tech declined because it wasnt official script. Miraculously out of the size prescribed.I do not have ovaries to make estrogen. If i do not take my hormones - i get sick and kick it. Now i know - keep letting my doc mail me my scripts and get the needles off amazon where i dont need to submit my script because you dont actually need one at all in the state of GA to purchase medicinal needles.

Came directly from the hospital after getting surgery to pick up my medication. I was told that it would take 2 hours to fill my rx. My rx was only 5 pills! When I pushed back on the time, the pharmacy tech gave me tons of attitude. I just came from getting cut open and couldn’t wait hours for my medication. I used to be a pharmacy tech at CVS in another state. It used to be a policy to fill rx for customers that were waiting ahead of rxs that were automatically generated for refills. When did this change??? Customer service at this location is extremely lacking and they are very disorganized.

Told me my prescription would be ready in a couple hours on Thursday, ok fine, came back and they only gave me one of my two medications. They told me the other would be ready tomorrow. Came back the next day and they told me it would be ready in a couple of hours again. Decided to give them a full day to figure it out and came back the next day. This time they told me they were out of it and that it was being shipped. I need this medication daily and by this point I was out. I explained the situation and asked if there was any I could have until they get the medication delivered, they agreed and told me to wait at the drop off window to pick it up. After waiting for a while someone told me that they actually don’t have any of the medication in stock and that it actually isn’t being shipped. Since they had lied and told me they had it/it was going to be ready soon for so long I ran out of my medication and have to go to try and find it elsewhere.TLDR: was lied to that my medication was in stock and would be ready, then lied to and said it was actually shipping and finally told that it isn’t being shipped and never will be.

Shelby in pharmacy hung up on me 3 times when I asked for management because I was given wrong medicine. This is unacceptable to be given the wong medicine.

My prescription has been called in for days. I get there to pick it up and I'm told by the tech it is on hold because they do not have enough. The pharmacist tells the tech they do have it. I now have to wait another hour to get it filled. I know that may not sound like a long time but I live on the other side of town. I don't want to come back in an hour. This isn't the first time this has happened. It has also happened to other family members.

Shopping experience was okay. However, once we walked outside to get in our car we were approached by an older female begging for money for food. It was 6PM and dark. Parking lot was not well lit. It is understood that times are tough for most people these days. CVS should provide a safer environment for their customers.

Please be aware that the Beyond Jerky they sell here is a Bill Gates funded lab created meat 🍖. It is said to be plant based. Do not confuse this with vegetarian meat. This is lab created meats from climate control agenda groups that want to get rid of farm animals because they think their carbon footprint is bad on the earth. You know what else they think is bad? Too many people!The 2 major brands is Beyond Meat and impossible foods. They are popping up in grocery stores, fast food, drug stores etc. KFC is also about to offer it and has a big window advertisement

Went to drive thru to pick up my prescription. The car before me and myself were the only ones in line. When I pulled up, the girl said she would be right with me. No problem. She proceeded to enter prescriptions in a computer. I counted 10. By now there were 4 cars behind me. Finally I said I need to pick up my prescription. Of course she gave me attitude. She walked over, made no eye contact asked my name and birthdate. Still no eye contact, gave me the clip board to sign receipt. I handed it back to her, she snatched it from my hand, gave me the RX and slammed the window shut. I have used this particular location since it opened. I’m really considering transferring my prescriptions to a pharmacy that treats me with respect and wants my patronage.

My wife went to the Harbin Immediate Care clinic last night and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection following the flu. The doctor prescribed two medications, which she asked him to send just across the street to the 24 hour CVS because she feared our usual pharmacy wouldn’t be able to fill the prescriptions in time before they closed. When she got to CVS, she was told it would take about 40 minutes for the prescriptions to be filled. She then submitted photos of the front and back of her UHC insurance card as requested and waited patiently……...for an hour and 10 minutes! When she finally asked the pharmacist when her prescriptions would be ready, he checked and said they couldn’t fill them because CVS was out of network with our UHC policy! She had been sitting there feeling sick waiting and waiting and waiting patiently for her medicines and NOBODY on the pharmacy staff had the decency to let her know that she needed to go somewhere else to get her prescriptions filled. Poor customer service to say the least.

I had a prescription called in at 5 pm i called at 510 made sure they had the order. The lady was rude over the phone saying it will not be ready till 830. 3.5 hours is a unacceptable amount of time to fill a prescription. I get there at 9pm no one in line at the pharmacy i was told it was not ready that it be 10 min. It took them 4 hours to fill a prescription.

When you call and wait 25 minutes for a person to answer your phone call just for them to pick up the handset and hang up on you. I understand that they are busy but we are busy too, we font alway have time to wait 25 minutes and then wait another 25 minutes! Not only they can't even be timely on getting your meds. They have it to where they are so rushed that they don't actually care for there customers. I would rather go to a small pharmacy where they are not a corp. Because they actually take rime for you and care. Too bad the corporations are bidding higher so they can put the smaller ones out of business you know the ones that actually care!.

Had my doctor call in a prescription at 12pm for antibiotics. Went to pick it up at 5pm, waited in line for 20 minutes and they said they hadn't received the order. After asking them to check they said it would take another hour to fill the order. The woman at the drive through was unprofessional and was drinking a soda while asking for my information and was very rude. It is the last thing you need when you're already sick and having to work long hours to be treated so awful.I came in at 5am the next morning to pick up the prescription and it still was not filled. The pharmacist said he was still working on filling prescriptions that were due at 2pm the previous day. If you need medication please go somewhere else. You will never get it in time.

No, I'm not going to call or tell you to fill my prescription every time I need it filled even though my Dr put in a refill request.Not to mention your drive through is terrible, be prepared to wait 45 minutes in it to have the pharmacist tell you there is a hold on your prescription. And then they don't even tell you why it's on hold because they can't read a computer screen, or don't even care enough to look.Don't waste your time, go to Publix.

I've worked in pharmacy and know how difficult it can be so I can overlook a wait time. BUT I have had to physically go up there 2 times because I was on the phone waiting 10-15 minutes on 4 different calls to speak with someone about a txt saying my meds are not available. I wanted my script transfered outside of CVS and Publix had to wait over 30 minutes on the phone and still did not get my transfer before closing. We plan on transferring everything now and going elsewhere.

This pharmacy is absolutely fantastic!! I love waiting to have my husband's rx from the ER filled at two in the morning. But I'm absolutely thrilled to have to wait even longer for you to finish your personal conversation before you bother to wait on us. Thanks for that.

I thought this was one of the best kept, clean & nicely organized CVS stores I've been into. The young associate who was working... I think his name was A.J... was very attentive & helpful as well as polite, courteous & went out of his way to help me with everything I needed in a timely manner. Great experience!☺️ DEFINITELY my 1st & only CVS choice in Rome Ga. So Keep up the good work guys!

Store is great, employees are nice BUT pharmacy is always falling short. MEDS ARE NEVER READY... EVEN HOURS OR A DAY LATER!!! My husband went to Dr. and meds said promised at 4:25 pm on bag but when we went at 9 pm they still "needed a couple of hours". This happens Everytime, or they claim to get the Rx that minute you go to pick up. If it wasn't for insurance we would not use this pharmacy.

Everything is constantly a struggle at this place. After calling refills in four or five times, they failed to order the medicine. EVERY SINGLE VISIT over the last two months has been a problem and the staff honestly doesn't seem to care at all. There have been multiple incidences where the medication shows it's ready on the app and website but I ended up waiting an hour or more at the store. On one occasion, someone deleted my insurance information from the computer and they just stopped filling prescriptions instead of fixing the issue.Trust me, you do not want to deal with the stress using this pharmacy will cause.Edit 10/14/19:Pharmacists kept losing prescriptions for controlled substances and also altered the directions on several prescriptions and changed the dates prescriptions were filled. The store manager is completely indifferent and the district manager is somehow even worse.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I made an appt to get a flu shot, went in and checked in and they gave me the paperwork for a man named Sean Covin and said I was a walk-in. I told them that wasn't me and they told me to fill out the paperwork (which had that guy's info on it already) to get any further assistance. This is a HIPAA violation and they wouldn't tell me who the pharmacist responsible for this was, but I found out.This is CVS store #5418, and supervising pharmacist Bianca Veliz, license PHRE009568, was responsible for wasting my time, giving me someone else's information, possibly giving my information to them, and having extraordinarily rude and disorganized counter service. Expect to hear more on this, Bianca.
