Cute small building with a wide selection of pet products, especially dog and cat. Small rooms with specific products for collars, leashes and toys. Toys are divided by chew and play toys. Fresh food even refrigerated.In the rear is a play or sitting room with a door to spend some time with your furry friends.A separate groomer is next door which makes for a convenient stop and everything for your pet. Check it out but know parking is tight and you can almost miss the stand alone business.

Peggy and Debbie are super nice. Peggy will go above and beyond for the customers and research everything that goes in the store; making sure everything is made in the USA and has nothing harmful for pets. Debbie gives me a call whenever they get a shipment of the food that I purchase for my dogs. These women go the extra mile and I would suggest for anyone to stop by even if just passing through town. Love this place and love Peggy and Debbie!

Love The Backyard, The only place I go for my pet needs. My little Bella Loves to go there and see Mrs. Peggy and get treats, toys, & clothes. We go at least once a month if not more but at the least once a month after getting our dog Bella groomed next door. She looks forward to going in the store after. Mrs. Peggy helps so much anything you need or questions you have.

Local and personable Ms. Joan will go the extra mile for her customers and the furry animals in your family. We have a Great Dane and frequently visit her to pick up the all natural wet food our Dane eats.

The MOST pet friendly place we have ever seen and been too. Our whole family loves Ms. Peggy and her back yard ladies. She meets you with a smile a hug and a camera. Before we lost our Yorkie Skittles, he would get excited when we turned off the main highway to go to his favorite place. You see, Gidget, Ms. Peggy's furbaby was his "girlfriend " She was excited to see him too.Ms. Peggy is #1 !!!!

Stopped in one day to get a collar and leash for my saint Bernard, we ended up walking away with some samples of the dog food they sale. Ended up going back to buy a bag. Good dog food. Great service. Great staff!!

Absolutly love the ladies that run this pet supply store. They only sell products that are GOOD for your fur babies. They are sweet and helpful. They build a relationship with the customers that come in and even take pictures for their facebook page. The backyard pet boutique is my favorite place in Rome Georgia!

The people here LOVE animals. They're passionate about what they do, and the owner straight up told me she won't sell anything she wouldn't use for her dogs. The building looks like they just bought a house and turned it into a store, and I love it.
