Food Lion is a great place to shop if you do not like shopping in a crowded store. I, for one, love that fact. I do not shop there very often, though occasionally, and only because I feel like it's a tiny bit more pricier than Food City. Although, everyone there has always been very nice and helpful. Also, it is located right beside the dollar store. I love that because I can go ahead and get everything I need without having to drive across town. ☺️

Stopped there last week just to get milk, and a couple of small things, it's clean and orderly, folks were helpful, even had a fun conversation in the checkout line with a couple ladies from NYC and a guy from Georgia. Was my first time in this store, and a good experience.

At least 85% of the time I go in there whoever the cashier is at the time is always rude. I'm starting to wonder if being rude to customers is a requirement to get hired at this place. I'm never greeted, the workers just talk to each other and completely ignore you, the touch screen on their chip reader doesn't work so you have to use the pen to hit the "amount okay" option, then they treat you like an idiot for not knowing that it's broken and you have to use the pen. They need to at least add a self checkout option if they are going to let all their cashiers be unprofessional and rude to customers because I shouldn't have to deal with it. I avoid going to this store as much as I can but sometimes I'm forced to because it's the closest option. The prices are awful, they over charge for everything, the owners are obviously cheap and don't care to fix their broken chip readers or add a self checkout option, the customer service is some of the worst around, and the parking lot always stinks. Must be the attitude of the people who work there.

If you go inside the store Monday through Friday go say hi to Johnny, he makes this store worth shopping at. I think he works evenings. That aside the store is always clean, everyone is nice, but sadly there are no lions the kids can play with an enjoy. I've been going here for years. The produce is much better than at Walmart. Clean bathroom.

This is the closest grocery store to my home and I am so thankful that it is! (If it wasn't, I would still drive the extra distance to shop there. Lol!) The staff here are super helpful and it is noticeable the pride they take in their work because the entire store is extremely clean. Even the floors!The produce section is relatively small, but it is always tidy, fresh, and well kept. Even though this is a small store, there is a good variety of products and almost always a budget friendly store brand option available. Also, Food Lion's MVP discount program is amazing! It makes it so easy to save money on our groceries every week because of the sales they have on almost all of my family's grocery list staples! I almost always come out spending less than I had budgeted for. As we all know, that is a great feeling in today's economic climate.Growing up, Food Lion was the grocery store that my parents trusted and shopped at for all of our groceries and I am happy to say that I'm proud to continue that tradition. Great job, Food Lion! Thank you for being an awesome store with fantastic employees!

Try hiring older cashiers that were actually raised with manors. These young girls are so rude. We were not even spoken too. She never said hello, not one word. We will not come back to this store.

It is clean and neat. Produce is fresh. Prices are comparable. checkout counters are available so you don't have to check yourself out. But I am not that big on carrying a scan card to get reduced prices.

I really love this store because it is so clean. However, some of the young workers are very rude - like cashier 0210 today who was too busy talking to her cashier friend to greet us. I didn't catch her name because she never once turned toward us, but it was the girl with pale green stuffed-animal looking hair.

I visit there regularly. The place is always clean, tidy and well organized. The prices are where the competition is, but they are having some great private brand items for really low prices, plus there are always coupons for their shopping card holders (you better get one, it's free). They are, as they claim, easy (but not much so the way their coupons work), fresh (but better check) and affordable (you can always shop around). The staff is, for the most part, knowledgeable, polite and effective. If you live close by, check them out.

The store is very clean and the people that work there are very helpful and kind and professional. But they don't have enough handicap electric buggies for that size store 2 buggies aren't enough I shop there several times a week and half the time there are no handicap buggies available.I ask the manager and he said the coperate want send them anymore.I am going to go to Food city because they have 4 buggies everytime I go in there when I get mt medicine at the pharmacy.

Love my local food lion! Nice clean store with the most sweetest professional employees.. Very well organized and lots of choices for each item. Prices are the best ever! I love the shop and earn reward program. So many perks and freebies for already buying the things you need anyway! I love my food lion and MVP card!

Usually a good store to go to. Prices everywhere are seemingly going up but here you usually find good produce as well as good selections of meat that don't look as though they have been left out to spoil.. Staff are usually nice and help you when you have an issue. All in all I love going here. Good experience everytime.everything is always in order

Prices have skyrocketed and reached an all-time high. 2 for 10 on cokes when it's usually 4 for 12 or 3 for 10. I'm guessing they raised prices due to the holiday. Not nice to do that to folks out here struggling

Terrible they are literally selling ramen 79 cents a pack not the cup I mean the little square ones one can get for 4/1 dollar in most places or 6/1 dollar or so I wouldn’t even shop there If it wasn’t so convenient but it’s not a convenient store so we shouldn’t be paying those prices

This is such a nice store! It’s not old or dingy and I love that! They keep it so clean inside which is also nice! The employees are 99 % of the time always in good moods which can be rare in big stores like that! It’s very convenient to my location but definitely prefer to go here than other stores! Some of the employees make sure to talk to you like you’re an actual person and not just a customer if that makes sense. Another thing to add is that they keep everything up to date! Food lion is growing! ❤️

Love this store! It has just been remodeled and looks great. I love shopping here because it's usually pretty quick to get in and out. One small problem is the Deli seems to be empty with no employees around alot of times but all you have to do is get a manager or let someone know that you want something from there. They also sell beer and wine with a wide variety of both in my opinion (not as much as a liquor store but good for just a grocery store). There is also a tobacco store, nail place, and Family Dollar store right in the shopping center. Very convenient for many people.

Clean friendly, but doesn't keep enough Corona 12 packs in stock it sells out more than the rest of yhe beers so why do they not stock more they can put in back hot and bring out when cooler is low this is an on going event wake up

I usually can get the things I need and sometimes even at a better price. However with the cost of everything going up I can say that this time I wasn't able to get what I needed because the cost was higher than normal and they were out of a lot of items making me have to leave there and go somewhere else.

For the most part I enjoy shopping there and most of the people are really great now and then you get a smart aleck. I guess it's like that wherever you go the produce is not good every time I buy produce there and rot in just a few days not long ago I threw away $6 worth of mangoes and they've been in the refrigerator for just a few days they were rotting from the stem and I find that to be true of most of their produce, it's old. I do like their meat department and they have really good sales and their management is awesome they have done great things for us in the past and they treat us like we matter.

Pleasurable experience at Food Lion. Employees are always helpful & courteous. Love that there is no self-checkout. If I want a cashier job I will apply for one. Too many stores switching to self-checkout but so far Food Lion has not. I will remain loyal to Food Lion.
