Great people! The vet really took the time to talk with me and answer all of the questions I had about my cat. The prices are very fair, and the front desk staff is always very welcoming and nice. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely best veterinarians around! Dr. George has retired, but we had used him for 23 years. Now Dr. Hooper is there, and she is awesome! Dr.George could not have chosen a better veterinarian to replace him. Take your fur babies here. You won't regret it!

The atmosphere was very nice and clean. The ppl were upbeat and happy to help, and there's hardly a wait time. I've been there twice, and both times, the vet was pleasant. Prices are somewhat high but very comparable. So overall, I would give 5 stars!

I was a regular client, getting care for.our dog, and cat.Two years ago, though, our dog became very sick, and I called to get him seen. Even though I explained how sick he had gotten over the course of a few hours, they " couldn't accommodate" him. They are the only local vet.My husband and I had to drive our poor baby thirty miles to an emergency vet, and he had to be put to sleep. We were devastated and still not over losing him.I know Rockmart may not have been able to save him, but we were regular clients, and they did not care about him at all. He should not have had the stress of a long drive in his final hours, and I will never take another animal there again or as long as the same vet owns it.

I called this morning at 9 a.m, they were able to schedule my cat the same day and for only a $50 deposit, unlike other vets 75+. Service was friendly, fast & affordable

Just a quick picture of the perfectly happy and healthy cat almost two years after being told to "just go ahead and put him down" because of a respiratory infection by the team at RAH šŸ˜ŠEdit in response to RAH's reply to my review - the reason there's no documentation of examination is because you guys told me, to my face, that you didn't examine him. You never took him out of his pet carrier.

The front desk staff as well as the vet and his assistant were very polite. I have an older dog that does not like going to the vet. They were very gentle with him and the assistant kept talking to him in a calm reassuring tone while petting him so that he would not be afraid. We had a great vet visit.

We were able to get an urgent appointment when our dog Charlie became ill. Everyone here was caring and gentle with our pet. The doctor was thorough and provided the proper medicine to make Charlie well again

We love Rockmart Animal Hospital and Doctor George. They have taken care of all of our babies for years. We have 6 cats and 3 dogs. The staff treats you like family. I have always gotten an appointment within a week and if it is something that needs immediate attention they get us right in. Thank you Rockmart Animal Hospital for taking care of our fur babies.

Two separate times I have had a emergency with my pet. They are never any help. Always saying it would take week in to see him. They don't care about animals. Only care about money. Do not take you're pets here if you love them.

Awful service. Have used RAH for nearly 20 years. That stops today. Refused to let me speak directly to the Vet. I was very nice even after the messed up on their end. They gave me my receipt after I paid with another vets phone number on it. I'm sure Dr George would not approve how they treated us, and that's why they wouldn't let me speak with him directly. So now I have to find another vet while my dog is in pain.

Dr. Wright is a nice guy, but I have had trouble getting him out when heā€™s needed. I do not recommend as a vet for horses either. He made 2 different diagnoses without actually really looking that far into them. Many years ago he just took a look at one of mine and diagnosed the reason he had been lame for a couple steps the previous day as ā€œa weak stifleā€. It is 7 years later and I havenā€™t had any issues with his stifles and heā€™s totally sound and in work? He also diagnosed my horseā€™s stocking up in the pasture as being an inefficient lymphatic system without doing any tests or anything to rule out other things. It improved completely in turnout after hoof rehab once I realized my farrier was not doing a good job. If only we had actually looked into some things perhaps that could have happened soonerā€¦ Many years ago he also was completely out of town and I had no idea, when my mare punctured her shoulder on a corral panel. It had to be treated at home because there were no other vets that would service the area and we couldnā€™t trailer her, and he was in another country. However, he was helpful when my mare choked, and helped me determine what was ok for her to eat after. He also stayed in touch through a very long hoof abscess and answered my questions. Best way to communicate with him is text. Second best email. Not good at answering phone.Wonā€™t waste your money, but thereā€™s a balance between that and diagnosing without enough info and unfortunately he was too far onto the latter end of that balance.

YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD READY!My mothers emotional support dog has been a patient there for 10+ years with no issues. Recently her dog started declining and wanted to make an appointment. First the receptionist wanted a $50 deposit for an appointment. After checking with someone in the office it turned into a $300 deposit before booking appointment. I have no issue with paying for what the vet needs to do but I feel like thereā€™s no concern for the dog thatā€™s been an established patient for years. Iā€™ve never been to a doctor or vet that requires pre payment with a credit card.

This has been our vet for over 9 years. They were supportive when we had a sick cat, who btw was the best freaking cat of all time. When the cat became terminal they walked us through options and were extremely supportive every step of the way. They helped when our dog got hit by a car. And now, they take care of any needs we have with the 3 dogs we currently have. They've always been friendly, knowledgeable, yet affordable. If you are anywhere near Polk County GA, this should be your family's vet!

Went to pick up my emotional support dog after being told that he ā€œturned blue ā€œ after a dental appointment. Kept hearing a girl tell me that heā€™d be out in ā€œjust a minute ā€œ. Took a very long time to see him and I was upset. (3 strokes have completely wiped out my ability to remain calm). I cried because I was so worried and scared for my baby, he trusts me and I took him somewhere and he almost died!! Heā€™s home and is settling down but a note to the staff, donā€™t make people wait like that!!

Very distressing to be told your loved pet became blue and encountered a life threatening situation. It is exacerbated when the front desk personnel will not let you see them until the bill is settled. Even worse when the pet parent is visibly distraught and she keeps saying it will just be a few more minutes, then after 15+ minutes you hear them call back and request the pet be brought up.Previous interactions were good. Today was distressing and the pet parent will not be returning.

The RAH is the best vet I have ever used. I have owned pets my whole life and used a variety of vets but the compassion and great care have never matched Dr. George and his wonderful team.

I moved here almost 5 years ago. Started taking my dog there since it was so close to home. They are always so sweet and nice. Dr. Wright is a awesome Dr. He will answer all your questions and always finds the most affordable options for you and gives excellent care. Recently found out my boy has Cancer and while the whole experience has me tore up. They have made it so much easier on me and how Im feeling and helped me feel more at ease. Dr. Wright is so caring and so honest. I absolutely love him. The techs are always so nice and help you as well. They'll answer your questions for you and help you feel at ease. I'll never go anywhere else.

We have taken our dog to this vet a few times before, and yes, he does not like going to the vet, and we have had to muzzle him to get his shots. This time, when I called to make an appointment and told them early morning or late afternoon works for my husband to bring him, they put me on hold for several minutes and then gave me an option of that day at 4:30 or 10:45 am another day. I told them I couldn't make it today and that I would need to talk to my husband about the 10:45 appt. and call back. She then told me there would be a $50 deposit to hold the appointment since they were short staffed due to covid. My husband then called back to try and make an appointment, as 10:45 am was not going to work with his work schedule and they said the manager would have to call him back and she never did after 2 days so he called back again and they told him they didn't have any appointments available and gave us other options of where to take our dog for his shots. I don't see why we couldn't book an appointment at a time that works for us, even if it was 2 or 3 weeks out. This place has been giving us the run around when it clearly seems like they just don't want to see our dog, which is fine and understandable, but just be honest and straightforward and don't keep giving us the run around. You have wasted our time and yours by doing this!!!

It was our first time visiting Rockmart Animal Hospital. I took my cat in and they were so professional, personable, and very attentive. Due to a Covid, I called when I arrived to let them know I was there and a couple minutes later someone greeted me at my car and we took my cat inside. They took care of my cat and he heā€™s doing much better! I highly recommend them!

The staff here have always been extremely friendly and seem to really care about the animals. We mostly only come in for yearly shots and checkups, but they have been very accommodating if we have something come up that's more urgent. Always a pleasant experience!

This is out go to vet. They have been wonderful with both of our dogs and our cat. They are priced well, and very friendly. I love how they interact with our babies. My mom has started driving from Dallas to use them too because of how great they treat our babies. Can't recommend them enough!

I've been doing business there for 15 or 20 years, they have been really good to me and my dogs.But I don't like them keeping us outside because of this covid-19.If you're going to get it you're going to get it I've already had it it was a pain in the butt for about 4 weeks but I got over it and going on with my life they should too
