This is my favorite pet store! I LOVE COMING HERE!!! I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I will not buy my pets from any other pet store. The guys really care about the pets they have. They are very well educated on all the animals they have and more. All my pets I’ve gotten from this store have been very healthy. The guys keep the store looking neat and clean. The animals in the store always look well cared for. The prices are very reasonable also. I have compared their prices to other pet stores and their prices are the best. They also have awesome accessories for all different pets, from cages, pet bowls, heating lamps, bedding, leashes, fish tanks and the list goes on. OMYGOODNESS and the fish they have are absolutely amazing!!! From the size of a dime to as big as a 55 gallon tank! They have fish that are actually as long as a 55 gallon tank!!! If you’re looking to buy a healthy pet, to bond with and have a good long life span, this is the place to come. If your in need of any educational information or resources this is the place to come. If you want to visit a nice clean pet store and see healthy happy animals this is the place to come. I have gotten quite a few pets from them and I am in love with all my fur babies!!! ❤️❤️❤️

the best place i ever been . like candy land . i bring my snake for check ups and ask lots of questions. Kel is so nice and wise. Kerry is also such a interesting guy with information on just about everything💕💕💕 10/10

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. They don't deserve even a single point of good ratings.We came in a couple weeks ago to browse; wanting to look at their selection. We were left disgusted and appalled by this place.The moment you walk in, you're met with parrots that have obvious neurological issues, used puppy pads in almost every corner, the horrible stench of ammonia.Upon further inspection, most of the fish tanks are horribly kept and horribly taken care of / cleaned(or rather, not clean). and the reptiles were abysmal.We saw several dead animals in this store, illegal reptiles as well. Most of the species that NEED heat and UVB (like bearded dragons) did not have what they needed. Everything was kept in confinements that were WAY too small, almost none had water or clean cages. I just can't get over the sheer amount of dead animals in this pet store. It was as if they'd simply forgotten they existed.Would not recommend any animal lover set foot in here.

Had a variety of different fish to chose from and they were of all sizes prices are great and customer service was on point that's my new fish spot!!!

I've been shopping with Mr.Joe at Pet's World for 12 years now. Great prices and live feeder mice for my snakes. He's a walking, talking man of knowledge. The stores small and simple, and the animals are all handled by hand, which makes it easy for novice. I highly recommend pet's world to anyone.

I frequent this store at least twice a month. They have a selection that you would never see available at to big box stores. Very nice vatiety of species. (i wish i would see the reptiles in the back but i don't do spiders 😬), but i know some people do. I get all my feeder mice, fish and cherry shrimp from them. Very friendly and great customer service. Its also been great seeing where they started and how far they have come and still growing. I will always support this small business and can't wait to see them grow even larger.

The smell and the lack of animal knowledge is sad. They had heat lamps on crested geckos, HEAT LAMPs. I love crested geckos and other lizards so seeing them miss kept is crazy. I seen one die in front of me in there and the other was in stuck shed. Not misting like they should just bad. Over priced on everything. Fish tanks nasty smh. Water green and disgusting. The smell…it was ammonia and feces in the air. No UVB light on bearded dragons. I asked to work there to help bring the store up but they refused to hire bc not getting alot of money. That was a sign to me they they knew nothing about reptiles.

I love this store.I searched all over and was driving 90 minutes to get food for my snakes.These guys have a cleaner and better shop with a better selection and knowledgeable staff and only 20 minutes away.I highly recommend if you're Southside and have exotic pet needs

Pet's World left me deeply disappointed. The overwhelming stench hit me as soon as I entered, making it clear they lack cleanliness. The prices are outrageous, but the staff, although friendly, can't compensate for the sadness I feel for the animals and the overall dissatisfaction with the service. The animals deserve better.

Just moved into the area and was worried about finding live food for my snake until I found this place !!! I love this pet store they have everything I need plus some. The workers are awesome and welcoming and the store is beautiful. 10/10 recommended to a friend

Everything we go in here I find something new to take home. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped us get my new addition to eat after 3 week and our old snake had her first live creature there. Can't wait to go back and find something else to bring home maybe butterfly fish or featherfin.

Smelly, inadequate enclosures, and over crowded. There was one person I noticed to be an employee, and he walked away to the back of the shop where i couldn’t reach him. Apparently my bf saw someone else that worked there, and I walked right by him without noticing because he had his head down in his phone. If they paid well I'd go in and take care of whatever I can. Cleaning being the main thing and giving those poor snakes have even a little enrichment.I left feeling sad for the animals and dissatisfied with the service.

Legit as soon as I walked in the smell nearly burnt my nosehairs off. It was very very dirty, the animals are not taken care of properly and I saw a dead dwarf hamster still up for sale in the store. It left me depressed and in shock.

I love it here. The animal display is superb. I have a snake and I visit them every week to get mice. Most of the time the size I need is there but I have had many days where it wasnt. They crew here is very helpful. I like them. Cool ppl. They definitely help answer all the questions you have.

Always great service and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of fishes, reptiles and other pets. If they don't have a particular fish you're interested in, ask and they may be able to get it for you as long as it's not illegal.

The owner answered all of my questions I had about plants for my betta tank and even told me when he’d have some back in stock! The store is very well kept and I really enjoyed my experience here! Very welcoming and knowledgeable :)

Love this store Mr.Joe and his lovely wife are some of the best people you will ever meet. One of my favorite fish store to go to! Prices are always great and Mr.Joe's always has something new coming into the store. I would recommend to anyone that's a pet lover!

Firstly, was almost knocked out by the smell. Lady was real nice, but all the animals are not in adequate enclosures, are overcrowded or sharing space with decomposing space-mates. Noticed a purple slime roughly an inch thick in the bottom of a fish tank and told my significant other that we would not be purchasing anything from there. I do not recomend this store for any reason other than it is a small business. I could not in good mind put any of these fish in a home aquarium because I wouldn't want my fish getting ill.

They sold me a sick Central American boa which has some type of disease which spread to my Columbia red tail that I had for about 3 years with no problem. Now my Colombian is dead. On top of that they Colombian spread it to the central amaerican they swapped out. When I asked about the original Central American they told me it recovered under there care which was a lie and it had died. They have no idea what they were doing telling me it was dehydrated but they were getting all there info off google just as I did.

I really enjoy patronizing this family owned and operated establishment. They are good friendly down to earth people who I dont mind spending my time nor my dime with. They've got a great selection as well as competitive prices. 5 star worthy.

I have been shopping here for 7 years. And the only time I've been disappointed was twice. I don't blame Mr Joe, and I still keep shopping there. I will drive from Oxford just to get my supplies. I love this store not the prices but the people (family) that works there are super nice. Even the grand kids
